Little Pines Nursery. What a place. What amazing people.
Our daughter started at Little Pines at 10 months old and finished up 2 days ago, now being 4 years and 8 months old.
Little Pines have consistently treated and looked after our daughter like she was one of their own children. They have helped
to guide her and turn her into the confident, kind, considerate and happy child that she is.
Nearly every day since she has been able to talk, she has asked to go in to nursery to be with the teachers and friends she has made along the way.
We moved away not long after she started but have continued to travel to take her there as their care, attention and love for our little one couldn't be faulted in any way.
I absolutely, unequivocally recommend Little Pines and Pam and her team to any parent who wants their child to have the best start in life.
We are sad to say goodbye, but forever grateful for their input into all of our lives.

We couldn't be happier with Little Pines. From the very beginning, the staff have been so welcoming, kind, and are all incredibly knowledgeable. The key workers that have looked after my son have taken the time to get to know him, and it's clear how much they genuinely care when I get updates about
all the great activities they get up to.
Since starting, my son has developed so much - not only in his learning, but also in his confidence and independence. He absolutely loves going in each day, which is the best reassurance as a parent. The environment is nurturing, fun, and full of opportunities for the children to explore and grow.
We are so grateful for everything the team does. I can't recommend Little Pines highly enough - it really is happy times at Little Pines.

My third child is currently at Little Pines and I couldn't be happier with the nursery. From day one, the staff have been warm, welcoming, and genuinely invested in my daughter's development. The activities are engaging and varied, encouraging creativity, learning, and social skills in a nurturing environment.
Communication is excellent - we're kept up to date on daily progress, milestones, and any little moments worth celebrating. My daughter
is excited to go in each day and comes home happy, confident, and full of stories. We couldn't ask for a better start to her early education. Thank you to all the wonderful staff for creating such a safe and happy space. They're amazing!

Little Pines Nursery have been nothing short of incredible with our children! The nursery continuously goes one step beyond in a number of ways. The staff are brilliant and are always thinking outside of the box when it comes to ensuring the children are engaged in a variety of fun activities.
The
thing that has impressed me most is how the nursery maintains a "Local Community" feel where your child feels part of a bigger family. The nursery feels personable, welcoming and really engaged in your child's development.
If you're looking for a nursery where they truly invest time and energy into your child's development, then I'd highly recommended the fantastic team at Little Pines.

Our son started at Little Pines when he was 10 months old. The details that went into ensuring a positive settling-in period were incredible. His key workers took the time to ask about his interests and even got hold of resources that were his current favourites. As parents, we have always felt listened
to and reassured - those little worries and anxieties you have when leaving your child for the first time were heard with patience and met with genuine understanding. Our son has flourished at Little Pines; we have been amazed by the leaps in his physical development and language. Now he has moved up to the toddlers group, and is in the care of yet more wonderful staff! He runs in happily every morning and is returned to us later with the biggest smile on his face. We really see the things that he learns coming out in his play at home and he talks non-stop about his current key worker, who he again adores! From our personal experience, we cannot recommend Little Pines highly enough.

Little Pines has been great for our son. He loves going to nursery and every time we talk about nursery day his eyes brighten with excitement. Staff communicate well regarding my son's day, and they maintain a close relationship with him and us in regard to his development. Little Pine truly are an

I’ve always been a little skeptical about putting my children into nursery, I just felt they were safer and better off at home. However, life changed (building works) and lockdown happened and I soon felt I wasn’t doing right by them. Being distracted dealing with builders and with them not being allowed
to do much of the stuff they did before lockdown. A friend recommended Little Pines, so I called and went for a visit. I knew from the moment I met the manager my boys were in safe hands. She’s calm and assertive and has clearly been doing it for years. The rest of the team are just a delight! Not to mention very very patient (what is it they say about the second born?). It melts me when they go running in shouting “BYE MUMMY!” And just confirms how much fun they have. Both boy's speech has come on leaps and bounds (22 months and 3 and a half years) and my eldest surprises me with new things he’s learnt most days. If it’s not clear already, I highly recommend Little Pines.

I can't recommend Little Pines enough! It has become our extended family. They raised my first son whilst I worked, so very well. They're caring, kind, go more than the extra mile for your child, welcoming with kind-hearted souls. My son still misses it there and he's 6. My other son started this year
and loves it. Seeing them both thrive and love it only makes me happy. The staff are so lovely to get to know and a joy to surround yourself with on a daily basis and what more can you wish for your children. More than just a nursery/childcare provider for me. An extended family providing a journey to start and grow your child's life and development. One of my reasons to have another child!

When looking for a nursery we chose Little Pines as soon as we stepped through the front door.

The care is second to none, the atmosphere feels safe, homely, warm and friendly.
You have a sense that they are truly invested in the care and development of your child.
Over the 2 years that our daughter

has been at Little Pines, we have gotten to know each of the staff well and that is down to their time dedicated to speaking to you at the beginning and end of each nursery day.

Our daughter has skipped into nursery since she started, it's reassuring knowing she is happy there and has a strong bond with the staff.

I couldn't imagine our daughter or her sister going anywhere else, it really is a gem of a nursery.

My daughter has been going to Little Pines Day Nursery for around two years now. Every time I tell her it’s nursery today, she jumps up excitedly and quickly getting dressed! She has never had a bad day there. The nursery staff are so kind and caring, they have really helped her development and supported
her needs. When I am going to work, I am calm as I know my little one is in good and safe hands, and she is very happy every time she is there, and that makes me a happy parent. So, I can highly recommend this nursery to everyone who loves the small home atmosphere, and kids love it too! Before Little Pines, we have tried a few different nurseries and childminder, and trust me, Little Pines was the only one that is excited to go every day with no problem. Every day they do different things with kids, you see this on your child online account so you can check their progress, and they do a lot of adventures trips too! Just can't recommend it enough!

My son had been going to Little Pines Day Nursery since he was eighteen months old and he is four now. I viewed over eight nurseries and for me, Little Pines Day Nursery had the best vibe and felt the most secure. Also, I knew a friend of a friend that sent her little one there. The staff are very chilled
which I love, not highly strung and have so much time for the kids. They are easy to approach if you have questions or want advice, one member of staff, in particular, has written out advice for me in her own time. I love the amount of outdoor time they have and the fantastically different activities they do. Also on many occasions, they have done things above and beyond such as, my son loves Michael Jackson and one member of staff bought in one of her Michael Jackson books which went down amazingly well.

My son has learnt so much in his time there. Love the family feeling and I know my son feels the same I can tell by the way he talks so fondly of them.

I will also be sending my daughter when it’s time.

Outstanding nursery. The whole team are amazing carers who I trust completely with my daughter who joined at 14 months. I have seen our daughter's social, play and speech skills improve dramatically after a day at Little Pines and her keenness to learn. I have just had a son and he will be joining his
sister there. I cannot thank them enough, it is very clear to see they all love their job.

I can't praise Little Pines and their staff highly enough. It is a wonderful, family-run nursery that genuinely feels like a home from home. I have never met a group of staff who love their job more and this shows in everything they do. My daughter started here having recently moved to the area and
the team put my mind at ease when she had a tough first day and within a week my daughter was running into nursery without a backwards glance! Thank you for providing such a wonderful, nurturing and fun environment for all the children.

Both of my children have been lucky enough to attend full time at Little Pines. The Owner and the team give nothing but the highest standard of care for all the children. My kids have developed so much and learnt so many future life skills there. The best recommendation I can give is that both children
were always excited and happy to go to nursery every day, every single day.

Over 15 years our 3 daughters have been fortunate to have the truly exceptional start Little Pines brings to a child’s life. The genuine care for every individual growing personality, the exemplary start to education, the endless fun experiences and the caring friendships etched in hearts for a lifetime.
Little Pines give children the very best foundations to begin their onward journey to school with confidence and a head start into learning. Can't recommend highly enough.

Both my children have attended Little Pines Nursery, the 1st child loved it, and we wished we had found the nursery sooner after trying several that we both didn’t get along with, she left over 7-years ago and now her little sister is currently attending twice a week, and loves her days spent here.
They are so caring and nurturing; they seem to have the perfect balance of free play and set activities. All the staff are lovely and so easy to get along with. I highly recommend to anyone who wants home from home feel child care.

My daughter has attended Little Pines Day Nursery for the past 3 years. Now as she approaches her 4th birthday and a school placement we will be extremely sad when the inevitable day comes she has to leave.
The family spirit and involvement from all of the staff are incredible. A lot of care, attention
and love is provided.
My daughter is a shy child that has really been championed to enhance her self confidence. She has made amazing friends and we have been connected with these young friends and their families.
We are lucky to have this nursery experience and the high level of care that is provided.
Never is a question left unanswered, a request left unfulfilled and on occasion, our little girl doesn’t want to leave at the end of the day. That in itself speaks volumes to the fun and engagement she has throughout her learning at Little Pines.
We could not recommend the nursery more. It’s absolutely superb.
Thank you all at Little Pines, we owe you so much. More than we could ever repay.

We feel so fortunate that both of our children were able to be part of the Little Pines family over the years. Such a nurturing and wholesome environment. The staff members are without exception some of the kindest, brightest, most caring and loving people I have met in any environment. Management are

Current Review Score: 9.5 (9.500)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.5 (9.500) out of 10 for Little Pines Day Nursery is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 5.0 out of 5 from 5 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.5 out of 5 from 5 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 5.000 for Little Pines Day Nursery is calculated as follows: ( (60 Excellents x 5) ) ÷ 60 Ratings = 5
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 4.5 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Little Pines Day Nursery is based on 5 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 10 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, and then 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews and then 0.1 Points for the next five Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.100, 7th = 0.100, 8th = 0.100, 9th = 0.100, 10th = 0.100) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 = 3.5
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 25 number of registered child places is 5, which has been reached with 5 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
