Tops Day Nursery - Wimborne, offers an excellent learning environment for all the pre-school age ranges, staffed by experienced and vetted professionals who value the reputation of the service within the local community, as well as the aspirations parents have for their children. The nursery also runs a Mini Beast club over the school holidays for children aged five to eleven years.

This nursery is part of a group that provides the most eco-sustainable childcare and education in the UK, being respectful of the environment and acting to reduce, re-use and recycle resources is an important part of the culture and routine for the children and staff.

The nursery philosophy is based around the values of flexibility and quality, with emergency childcare and babysitting services available, the use of indoor and outdoor play areas and balanced food menus to support good nutrition.

Tops Day Nurseries offers a number of extracurricular activities such as Tops Cooking School, Tops Forest School, meditation, yoga, Rugby Rangers, Boogie Mites, tooth brushing and much more.

The nursery can provide 15 hours free funding which is available for two, three- and four-year-olds.

While each child is at Tops Wimborne, families can call as often as they like to talk to a member of staff about their child and their time at the nursery. Families will be kept up to date about their child’s day at the nursery, including important information such as sleep times and food intake, which is submitted onto EYLOG.

Children are provided with food from the Tops Day Nurseries no-added sugar menu, which ensure they have a nutritional and healthy start in their lives.

My son has attended this nursery since September 2018 and he clearly enjoys his time there. Staff care about the children and will arrange bespoke activities to cater to their specific interests and needs.
There's a strong outdoor focus, with access to the garden directly from the nursery, as well
as the opportunity to use the local outdoor spaces for special activities.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this nursery - my second son will be starting in January next year.

I have had 2 children in Tops Wimborne over the last 2 years. Both have thrived there and enjoy the range of extra activities including cooking and forest schools. The staff are friendly and engaged and their flexibility is second to none.

Cannot fault Tops Wimborne. A lovely, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable group of people. They have made myself feel relaxed about putting my son into nursery and my son absolutely adores his time at Tops. When we drive into the car park he just can't contain his excitement! They have brilliant values,
do so much for the kids in the way of enrichment and I am so so pleased I enrolled him here. Thank you Tops!

We have been thrilled with the provision at Tops Day Nurseries: Wimborne. Our son is now in preschool having started age 1 and our other son has just started. I could not fault this nursery. They have been absolutely amazing with my daughter and have helped to develop her skills and confidence. Due to a slight speech delay, they have worked with me to be on the same page on how we can help her learn, be it at nursery or at home. My daughter will be attending
here for as long as she can.

My daughter has been at Tops since May 2019, her happiness and progression are perceived as being excellent.


The daily feedback provided by the online system is very good and the attention to the welfare of my daughter gives a feeling of security to my partner and me.
The staff team are warm and

welcoming and our daughter is also excited to attend the sessions.
I have no hesitation recommending Tops, they are a lovely staff team who are very child-centred.

Tops Wimborne have looked after my two children for 6 years and have provided a great service. The staff are very friendly and the kids love them. Both kids feel completely at home. It is a very flexible service for both school runs, holiday club and nursery care. I would highly recommend.

Both my children have attended Tops Day Nursery - Wimborne, spanning several years and we are pleased with everything provided.


The staff have been excellent, always caring and professional, and I’ve found the communication has always been too - any queries or questions are always handled well.

Our son has only been going to Tops for a month or so, but he has settled so well and is always eager to get through the front door!
All of the staff are always so lovely and helpful and clearly care so much about the children they look after.
Already our son has progressed, and that’s all down
to the time and care the staff dedicate to the children, they really want to get to know them and help them with their development. We’re so happy to have found Tops and thank them so much for all they have down for us so far. From the lovely ladies in admin and management to his room teachers, they are all special.

Our child is now at school and approaching five years of age; we’ve been with Tops for nearly 4 years and actually feel like they’re part of the family!
Our little one has always been happy at Tops and is now very proud to be a mini-beast at Tops after-school Club.

My 11-month little boy began nursery at the beginning of January and goes 2 days a week. He settled in with no problems and has absolutely loved it. The ladies who are looking after him are lovely and I feel happy to leave him there. I like how I can access the details of what has gone on during the

Tops in Wimborne is such a lovely preschool environment for our son. He is always so excited to be going and has learnt so much since attending. The staff are all lovely and clearly care about all of the children in their care. They are professional and bright and encourage lots of fun learning for
the little ones. They are also proud of the children’s achievements, which is a really nice thing to be able to share with them. We have just had a holiday and our son has told us he has missed his preschool and is looking forward to seeing his friends and teachers again next week. A truly lovely setting that I highly recommend. Thank you.
