Tops Day Nurseries: Bretonside Nursery

Tops Bretonside was the first nursery I viewed and after viewing others, I couldn't enrol in Tops quickly enough! My baby has been attending for around 9 months. I was very nervous about her being so young but circumstances meant it was necessary. She is now 15 months and is full time at the nursery. The staff take the time needed to get to know her and me. I always find them very respectful of my values and requests as well as being really flexible. I am extremely confident in the care they provide and that her well being is always their priority. They share information about the day and the activities and it is great to see the variety of things that they do that are both educational and fun. It feels like a genuine partnership between parent and key worker, working together to meet her needs. My baby absolutely loves attending and despite being born in lockdown, she is thriving emotionally, socially, and developmentally. I do not doubt that the nursery plays a big role in this.

The staff gave my lactose-intolerant son a cup of milk. Both kids have food diaries as one has an allergy, the other rarely seems to eat their food or has just been given fruit on occasions. Food diary either updated late evening or we don't get one at all. Brought this up with several staff members with no improvement. Allowed someone to collect them without a password. Luckily it was their grandparent but could have been anyone! Kids seem to enjoy the setting but a lot of other things need looking at especially important ones like allergies!

My little boy has been with Tops Day Nurseries: Bretonside Nursery since he was 10 months old. The staff are amazing with him. We love the new forest school. He makes great friendships and is always happy when I collect him.

Ever since starting Tops Day Nurseries: Bretonside Nursery my daughter has come so far in development. She has made so many friends and is always excited about coming in.

The staff is absolutely amazing, they look after the children so well. Couldn't find a better nursery for my child. Definitely will recommend this nursery to others.

My daughter really enjoys Tops Day Nursery, Bretonside. She has become so much more confident and chatty while being here. I look forward to the future here for her.

My child enjoys coming to nursery, he gets excited when we are on our way. He is well looked after and gets along with most staff. They respect my wishes as a parent and I fully trust them with my children. I also have a son in babies and he always holds his arms out for staff to get him as soon as we arrive.

My son has settled very nicely into this nursery because the staff are always so friendly towards him!

Very helpful and flexible. Always at the end of the phone and kept updated with goings-on. Love the app to keep me updated and tooth brushing programme.

My daughter is very happy and content in nursery, she has been attending since she was 15 months old and is now in pre school. Staff are approachable, knowledgeable and supportive. I feel extremely confident leaving my daughter with them when at work. I would high Likely recommend this nursery.
