Tops Day Nurseries: Babbacombe Nursery

My son has been on a journey with Tops Babbacombe for 3 years now and what a great journey it has been. I feel the skills, behaviours and talents my son has learned have contributed to his readiness for school and life. The manager and her team really put their all into the children and every child is as important as the next. I see happy staff and happy children and that is the pillar to a good nursery in my opinion.

Tops Nursery in Babbacombe has been amazing! My little boy had to start nursery at 6 months old and he absolutely loves it! I was so worried about leaving him so young but he adores going and gets looked after amazingly! Highly recommend this place.

We love Tops Day Nurseries. My daughter attended before she went to school so couldn’t wait to head back. My son is 9 and half months old and absolutely loves Tops and all the girls. As any mum, I was beside myself leaving him at such a young age but he didn’t bat an eyelid and is always full of smiles when I return to pick him up, I love the daily updates of activities and new things he has learnt also to follow, food/drink/bottle and bum changes. Overall a happy mumma.

Really welcoming, staff are brilliant. My son really loves going there always enjoys himself and looks forward to going. Also keeps parents updated with e log and pictures of his day, wonderful place for children.

Lastly, the Tops manager is always going above and beyond to ensure both my son and myself are looked after. It’s not just a place for my son to be minded, it’s a second home to us.

I find my daughter has much more confidence since joining the journey. She tells me how much fun she has. She is anxious in the mornings when I drop her off and the staff reassure her. I feel my daughter is looked after and safe.

Most friendly staff and reassuring to know my child is being looked after by the most amazing girls. My daughter is so happy when I pick her up and is so eager to stay when I drop her off. Couldn't speak higher of this nursery.

My son enjoys coming to nursery and doing lots of fun activities. The staff are always happy and nothing is ever too much trouble. I would recommend Tops Babbacombe to anyone.

The staff here strive to make our children achieve their full potential whilst taking into account our hopes and wishes too. They promote a safe and happy environment and invest a lot of their time ensuring the best is given to all children.

The manager is amazing, keeps everyone organised and is so kind. Very grateful to her. Thank you.

The manager and team are friendly and caring. They are always informative on what my son has been doing and eating throughout the day. My son loves going into nursery and is always happy with the experiences he has had at nursery.

Lots of great activities for the children and nice trips out into the local community.

My son enjoys his time at nursery and is enjoying going off-site more, (would be nice to see more trips during the summer). He likes cooking and yoga sessions. The staff always make him feel at ease when upset/anxious and he enjoys lots of hugs. I would like to see more/be told about more planned learning activities e.g. maths, letters, forest school sessions to ensure he is fully stimulated and learning along the way. Food could be a little less pricey compared to other nurseries. On occasions, the toilets could be cleaner but this is my only complaint. Would recommend.

Most amazing nursery with the most amazing staff, absolutely fantastic. Not only have they worked wonders for my little boy but pulled me through one of the darkest periods of my life and continuing to do so.

Tops Day Nursery has recently taken over what used to be Noah's Ark Nursery. Throughout my son attending this nursery for the last year they have been excellent. Lovely staff, who are creative and thoughtful. The last nursery our son went to was poor, so we know when a nursery is good. Our son used to be given sausage rolls and crisps for a snack, whereas now it is fruit and vegetables. The activities organised by the staff are also excellent and educational. I would recommend this nursery to anyone.
