Pixieland Day Nursery - Saltash

I've found 'Pixieland' to be fantastic for our 4-year-old daughter. They're caring, professional and overall, it's been a great experience for our daughter.

The facilities at Pixieland Saltash are also really good and above what other nurseries offer.

The staff are friendly and welcoming to the children, I could not think of better care for my children while I am at work. They help encourage the development and are always on hand when needed, offering additional support.

As first-time parents and myself returning to work, it was a daunting time but from her first day, I knew we had made the right choice. In the baby room, they do so many activities and I love receiving photos through the app during the day to see what they have been up to. All food is provided during the day which is a big help. The ladies in the baby room have built a great relationship with my little girl and she loves going to nursery!

My second child is being looked after by Pixieland Saltash and as with my first child, everyone is great and never had any issues, timings are great for my working pattern and both have settled so well.

Pixieland could not have done more to help my young baby to start nursery and aid my transition back to work. They exceeded expectations with the level of care and compassion that they have shown both my daughter and I really feel that my baby is in safe hands while I am at work.

My daughter has been going to Pixieland since she was just a year old and the team there have been absolute lifesavers. I could not have gone back to work without their support. The nursery is flexible about timings and have really been there for me when I needed childcare at short notice. It's a really great setting to get children ready for the school environment. My daughter has enjoyed her time there and since starting nursery her social skills, speech and learning have really come on. The staff are friendly and really helpful and my daughter gets on well with all of them.

My daughter started nursery when she was 6 and a half months old, best decision we made, she is now nearly 17 months old and has come on leaps and bounds due to the staff and environment at Pixieland. Having no siblings, she loves being around others and learning valuable social skills. Nursery makes her very happy and she doesn't stop all day from having so much fun with the staff and her friends.

The staff are friendly and helpful. They still inquire about my school aged children and my children still have their favourites! One of which is the cook :)

My little boy has been going to this nursery since he was 8 months old, he's now nearly 4. He always comes home with a smile and talks about how much fun he's had, the staff are amazing. They always go out of their way to help with my son. I always feel that's he's being looked after and never had a problem. But can assure that if I did the staff would do anything to address my situation. I really would recommend this nursery to anyone. My son has had a lot of health problems and they have helped in so many ways. Even down to supporting me so I can go to work knowing he's safe and happy. Fantastic job they do.

My son loves his time at Pixieland. The staff make this a relaxing environment and help with the settling in of children and greet them with a warm welcome. He’s always making something sparkly and leaves at the end of the day with a big grin and new memories made.

From the moment my husband and I stepped into the nursery to view it, we felt welcomed by all staff and comforted to know that it has great security and we were very happy for our little boy to start his growing years there. All the rooms our son has been in, from baby to little todd's and now big todd’s, have been fantastic and he has developed so well and that is down to the staff who have looked after him. I am very happy with PL Saltash and would highly recommend to anyone!

My son has been attending Pixieland Saltash for over 24 months and he loves every minute of it. He went early as I returned to work and I was anxious to leave him as not only was he my first but I had severe Post-Natal Depression too. The staff were amazing and still are. They are caring, welcoming, understanding and so kind (pretty sure the list is endless). I felt like I was leaving him with family. He has grown and flourished in more ways than I could have imagined and as much as I can say that was me! It was but the staff have played a huge part in that too. All the staff work hard with the children to encourage growth, enjoy the things they like but also try new things and explore the world around them. We love it so much even though I don't have to return to work since having my daughter, now one, we are sending her one day a week because we want her to experience all that her brother has from all the staff, the children and the opportunities Pixieland provide for learning, personal growth and so much more.

The staff are all very friendly. My son loves this place the soft play is a fantastic edition. I love how he comes home with pictures and things he had made. Fantastic overall.

My grandson is 21 months old and has attended Pixieland since he was 8 months old. He loves the staff, the activities and everything about the nursery. He’s learning songs and the little dances that go with each. His vocabulary grows daily due to stories and nursery rhymes. He loves painting and drawing and participating in cooking too. He’s always happy at nursery and looks forward to his sessions every week.

My son enjoys going to nursery and always comes out with a smile on his face. He has lots of friends and the staff always make him feel welcome and comfortable.

Nice nursery and preschool. I would recommend it to others. It’s always been very flexible which is what I need with regards to working shifts. The staff seem friendly and useful with their handovers and the accounts department is very helpful too. The food is very good and healthy. Things to improve, in my opinion, more work with the elog. I rarely get anything from that and it would be lovely to see more of what my little one gets up to. Also, I’d like the preschoolers to spend more time outside. Maybe some trips too?

My daughter has been going to Pixieland Saltash for 6 months now. They’ve really built up her confidence and helped her learn lots of new things. She really enjoys going to the nursery and has so much fun. The staff are brilliant and all the activities are wonderful. Really recommend.

Can't recommend and praise this company enough. My son attends Saltash Pixieland nursery and they have been amazing from day one. He loves going and enjoys going. They work really hard with all the children and keep the parents informed all the time about activities and anything else they find important to tell us, they are all very friendly and helpful. 5*

Having used Pixieland for the last 4 years I can honestly say that I wouldn’t want my children to go anywhere else. They are without a doubt a smashing team and work together to ensure the children get the best. I feel safe knowing they are in good hands.
