Partou Kingsway Day Nursery & Pre-School

My baby girl attends the nursery as my older son. My son has been there since he was 9 months old although there has been a lot of staff come and go I couldn’t honestly ask for anyone better to look after my son. One member of staff, in particular, is his absolute world sometimes he even wants to go home with her! She has turned that pre-school room into a safe and homey environment for the children! The children adore her! My little girl attends the baby room and I was very nervous about sending her into a nursery as any mother, and the girls have just made this settling in process so easy my daughter absolutely loves the girls. Even though observations are not all the time the girls genuinely care for the children and give them that time and attention and for me that means everything to know my child is safe and comfortable with the girls. The staff throughout the nursery are friendly. All round we couldn’t pick a better nursery for our children.

I can’t recommend this nursery enough, my daughter always loves her time there and practically breaks down the door in the mornings. She’s learned loads since joining and her key worker always updates us on developments, plus the play activities are always vast and varied. So much messy play, I’m glad they do the tidy up! I also really appreciate their big garden which means there’s always outdoor time even in iffy weather.

The staff are really practical too - they have spare clothes available and the meals are always well balanced and varied. My daughter has never lost anything and the few times she’s been ill everyone’s been very caring and even checked up on us at home.

I’ve already recommended the nursery to my friend whose daughter is due to join shortly. Big thumbs up from me!

My daughter loves going to Flower Pots Nursery. She's usually waiting by the door, urging dad to get her there. The staff are amazing: caring, perceptive, friendly, and always keen and happy to share the details of the child's day. We feel very lucky that our daughter is in such safe, loving hands.

Excellent nursery! Both my kids go there and I cannot recommend them enough. The staff are amazing and they have really helped my kids gain confidence. My kids love going there and come home equally happy.

The activities and learning methods that they use really encourage children to come out of their shells and explore more. We have had our kids there for over 3 years now and we will always recommend them.

My 11-month-old daughter currently attends Flowerpots Nursery 2 days per week and absolutely loves it. I am extremely happy with her care at Flower Pots Nursery and the staff there go over and above to ensure my daughter is well looked after and developing as she should be. I would recommend this nursery to anyone who is looking for a daycare setting where the children are the number 1 priority.

It feels like the new management team has brought a breath of fresh air and some great new ideas.

The baby room has a brilliant variety of activities including messy play, art and craft, and lots of toys for encouraging physical and language skill development. The preschool environment really does build children up ready for school - it may sound daft to say - but I've seen my eldest thrive and change so much in the past year. The preschool children are encouraged to play and learn with curiosity. They also learn the routines of working in small groups, having circle time, and sitting down to have meals with their friends.

I'm really glad we chose this nursery, and I have already recommended it to lots of local families.

Flower Pots nursery is excellent. My daughter loves going and always has a big smile on her face at the end of the day telling me what she has been up to. I really like that we all get a detailed overview of our child's day, from what they have been playing or learning to what and how much they ate for lunch. The staff are always very friendly and the nursery space looks fun.

I have two children that attend Flower Pots Nursery, one under 2 and one in Pre School. My eldest has attended since being a baby so for over two years now, and we, therefore, have experience of all of the rooms and working with a number of different members of staff in the setting. I would have no hesitation in recommending Flower Pots Nursery to other parents. My main impression of Flower Pots has always been that the staff makes a real effort to connect with all of the children in the setting, every member of staff in the nursery knows each child's name and are always happy to see them. As a parent, I feel very reassured that my children are nurtured and encouraged and cared for by kind and dedicated staff when at nursery. Staff within the nursery have also always encouraged my children to develop, both traditionally and also supporting my children in their emotional and social development.

My son started going to this nursery when he was only one. I was very happy back then when he attends the baby room. Now he is a toddler and switched rooms I'm still very happy with the work the whole staff are doing. My child is extremely happy when I picking him up and sometimes doesn’t even wanna go home. Very happy when I leaving him and I just can see how much he likes it going there.

We love nursery, but more importantly, my son loves his nursery. He always comes home in a wonderful mood, having had lots of fun learning and playing. We feel that there is a really good variation of activities and we love that he gets out in the garden to play regularly. The staff are always warm and welcoming and have helped him settle in and develop confidence in being away from us. It's lovely to be able to go to work and not have to worry about him. My only very small gripe is that I would love to see a few more photos on Learning Book. We really appreciate everything you do for him and all the children in this really difficult time and latest lockdown. We recognise the risk you are all putting yourselves at to keep the children in nursery and it really doesn't go unnoticed. Thank you Flower Pots.

Very responsive team, always answer emails and requests promptly. The children have developed in confidence since starting at Flower Pots and are always excited about their days there. I feel very relieved to know the team will respond to the children's emotional needs and the staff have always fed back if the children have had a hard day and needed support. One frustration I have is with the "learning book" system and often feel I would like to have more updates but the system seems to be constantly not working.

A lovely little nursery with great facilities garden and staff. My son is in the baby room and always super eager to get in in the mornings and always has a big smile on his face at pick up time because he's had such a great day.

Flower Pots was my son's nursery before he went off to school, he loved it. Now my little girl loves Flower Pots, she looks forward to coming to nursery every week. Thank you for everything you do for my little girl, we are very grateful.

Staff are so friendly, they give great feedback at the end of every day. My son has learnt so much since attending as they make learning fun. I would really recommend the nursery.

The staff at this nursery are amazing. Nothing is ever too much trouble for them. If you have a problem; they will deal with it immediately. My grandchild is very happy here and has been since the day they started. The staff nurture the children and fill their days with stuff to do. The rooms are a great stimulus for all ages, and the classes are fulfilling.

We have found Flower Pots Nursery to be excellent. The staff have built up a great relationship with my daughter, and indeed with me and my husband, and she is very happy there. Every day there are new activities for her to try, including lots of messy play which she loves! She had some trouble settling to sleep at nursery, to begin with, and the staff were really helpful in working through that with us until we found a solution - she now sleeps easily and consistently at nursery. I would really recommend Flower Pots and am very grateful to the staff for all the care and attention they give to my daughter.

My daughter started attending Little Acorns & Stepping Stones nursery nine months after she was born and it was a lovely nursery, the staff were keen and friendly and the nursery was impeccable following refurbishment. My daughter appeared to enjoy going there and my wife and I were happy to send her. This, however, all changed around May 2019 when the management of the nursery changed hands and we noticed a change in her willingness to attend nursery as staff turnover became quite high and it was evident that this was having a profound impact. Communication from the nursery rapidly declined and staff appeared to be demotivated and disinterested and this trend has steadily declined over the past 10 or so months. The only reason we haven’t yet relocated her to another nursery is that, at present, it is convenient for our work schedules and she has an older sibling which attends school nearby. We are hopeful things will improve but we’re not holding our breath.
