Mornington House Day Nursery

The room and facility seem okay, but I am not sure about the overall quality of the service.

for helping develop my little one into a well-rounded and happy individual.

Amazing nursery! I really felt my son found a nurturing place. He settled down quite quickly and they helped him with things he found difficult to do at home like meal times. He loves going and everyone is very welcoming. I am sad to leave as we’re moving cities but I would rate it 10/10

A great nursery, both my children have been part of this nursery as have my niece and nephew. All children have been in the baby rooms, 2's room, 3's and pre-school. I cannot highly recommend this nursery enough. Everyone here cares and I mean really cares for all the children and families that are part of this nursery. My child can't wait to go in and see her friends and have fun.

My daughter has been at the nursery from the baby room right through to pre-school and we have been so happy with the care she has received in this time. The staff are exceptional, from the manager to all the room staff to the cook - everyone has treated us like family from the very beginning and we have felt so confident that she is safe and loved when we leave her at the door. There is a lovely warm, caring atmosphere and the staff nurture the children to develop beautiful relationships with one another. The food always sounds delicious, and I love hearing how they all sit down to eat together. Accidents, concerns etc are always communicated swiftly and effectively and information is uploaded to the parent app. We will miss everyone so much when she starts school in September! I would not hesitate to recommend Mornington House to anyone considering where they want to send their child.

Both of our children have received an exceptional level of care over the past six years at Mornington. When your children attend this nursery you join the Mornington family. My children have felt safe and nurtured and have grown and developed here. It has been an excellent foundation for their education. There is low staff turnover and therefore great consistency. The nursery manager is excellent and communication is great.

Our son has a rich learning experience under the amazing care of the team at Mornington House. He always went to nursery with a smile on his face and left with the same smile. We will forever be grateful for this amazing year he spent with them and grew into a little, curious and creative boy!

Mornington House is an amazing nursery. My child has grown so much in just a few years. Their personality, speech and social skills have also improved. The staff are lovely, always welcoming my child and myself with a smile! My child is always so happy when they have been to nursery. She always comes home with stories of what fun activities they have done that day! The staff are understanding.

Mornington Nursery has been 10/10 for us. Both my children had attended Mornington. Started at a young age of 9 months and stayed until they attended primary school. The staff there are all fantastic, the communication is great, the catering never disappoints, the management are always happy to help. Both my children had the best time there and still talk about it. If there was anyone looking for a nursery I would 100% recommend Mornington. We love it! x

I have two daughters who attend Mornington House and both my three-year-old and my one-year-old are extremely happy there. The staff are always friendly, approachable, understanding and professional. The food provided is of a very high standard and I have been really impressed with the activities and resources at the nursery, but most of all I have been delighted with the care for my daughters and feel they have both learnt so much and been so happy there. My son has had the most amazing time at Mornington House. This nursery is so much more than just a place where our children are cared for. It is a centre of education in both terms of social skills, behaviour and personal care but also about learning new things, being inquisitive, having their questions answered, being creative and having the most fun. I think all the staff are outstanding.

The manager is absolutely fantastic, always keeping an eye on the children and making sure she is aware of what is going on in every room.

All administrative and organization-related matters run always smoothly. Our daughter is trilingual, and we are positively surprised by how she is integrating and mastering English thanks to the work at the nursery. The nursery is not cheap but that is of course not a problem of Mornington House but a national one.

My daughter has attended Mornington House for 10 months and she loves it. The staff are brilliant, supportive, caring and enthusiastic. The children do lots of different activities to keep them entertained. The nursery is a calm, clean and friendly environment with a lovely contained garden. My daughter’s speech, understanding, counting (in French too) and writing has really progressed. I’m very pleased we chose Mornington House and would definitely recommend it to anyone.

The baby room is beautifully run. My granddaughter has spent January and February 2019 transitioning to the 2-year-old room. The regular, well-trained staff fulfil all the children's needs. Almost everyday my granddaughter is full of joy on collection. She didn't go today as it's a nanny day but she was asking me hopefully "is it a nursery day?"

My son has been at this nursery since he was 1 until just before he left for school he has been happy I all rooms throughout his experience at Mornington. He has got on with all the staff and they have all been friendly. Good feedback when collecting him on what he had done that day. His speech and writing have come along well. He can do a lot more than I expected form being taught at pre-school. It is a smaller pre-school than others but felt this has helped him as he has more of a personal relationship with his keyworkers. I would not have changed in the past 3 years and we will miss it when he starts school.
