We absolutely love Lake House and all the amazing staff - they've had such a huge and profound impact on my daughter. She has significant additional needs and the staff at Lake House have gone above and beyond to make sure she is included, looked after and has a wonderful time. She's made so much progress since being there and we know it's down to the amazing level of care and effort the team put in. The staff have been a lifeline for us as a family, and it brings us so much joy and comfort that my daughter has the best time there. All of the staff are brilliant, but my daughter's 121 and the SENCO in particular have been so proactive and kind. We are so grateful for how much they do and feel very lucky that she has these wonderful people in her life who care about her so much. We honestly can't put into words just how grateful we are for the team there and the wonderful inclusive environment they've created. We only wish they had a school so my daughter could stay there forever!

Both my children are at Lake House. The staff are 100% what make it a wonderful nursery. They are super nurturing, fun and engaging. It's a small, personal setting where you feel your children are really cared for. So grateful for all that they have done for my 2!

Every member of the team is warm, loving and genuinely caring. It has always felt like such a safe and nurturing environment. We are especially grateful for the book club run by one of the staff members - receiving a new book each week has been such a wonderful experience for our little one and has really supported their love of reading.

Both of my children have attended this nursery for a while now. Whilst the facilities are definitely good, it is the staff who really make this place special. They all care so much about the children and know each child well, and plan activities the children will enjoy. My children are always happy to be dropped off on a nursery day and I feel confident leaving them there for the day.

We are so impressed by the Lake House Nursery. All the staff are caring and committed to looking after our son. The activities and learning times are varied and creative; the book class is a particular favourite. The staff tailor the care to my child's needs, e.g. support with potty training. They are easy to talk to and get advice from. We are also impressed with the food, although would prefer low-sugar cereals only for breakfast. We sent our first to Lake House and now our second child goes there. The staff are all great, so caring and formed great relationships with both my children. We feel confident sending them there that they are well looked after and we have regular updates on what they are doing everyday.

The provision for learning is clearly child-centred. The progress my daughter has made since joining the setting is phenomenal! The staff plan a range of exciting learning opportunities both inside and outside of the setting e.g. taking the children to see Christmas lights or visiting the local park.
The only areas for development would be the outdoor facilities, particularly the front garden, which needs some TLC. Food is mostly very good and provides a balanced diet but we have noticed spells where it's less varied so it would be great if it maintains this variety. Overall I cannot recommend Lake House enough! Thank you all.

We have had our daughter at Lake House since she was a year old and started back in 2021. She has absolutely thrived at this nursery, and all the staff have been amazing with her as she’s progressed through each of the rooms. She is always excited to go to nursery, and even on the days when she might be finding things a bit more tricky, the staff are always really great at helping her manage her emotions. I find all staff really care about the children, and this comes across throughout all interactions. What I like about the nursery is that even on rainy days, they get them outside, and they utilise the space they have really well. They are always thinking up great themes and weeks to celebrate, and I find it a diverse and nurturing environment to have my child grow up in. Thank you, Lake House!

Leanne has been in the childcare industry for over 15 years, developing a comprehensive understanding of how childcare can be provided while working with the Army welfare service. She has obtained a Level 3 to Level 5 in Early Years Management, as well as additional qualifications ranging from a Level 2 in Early Years Mental Health to a Level 3 in Early Years Special Educational Needs. Her passion is to continue to provide the highest level of care and learning, ensuring that all children are prepared to face their next steps.
