My daughter attended this nursery from 18 months until she started primary school and now my 2yr old son attends. I love this nursery, the staff are always helpful and brilliant with the children. It’s a really lovely nursery and I would recommend it to anyone.

My son has been attending this nursery for just three months and he has settled in really well. His key worker, as well as the manageress and the other core staff downstairs, have definitely impacted on how well he has adapted to this new routine. He is also much better at trying new foods at home since
he started nursery something that was a hard task beforehand. We are really happy with the nursery and look forward to how he develops further as he moves up to the next room. An area that could be improved is to maybe animals in the garden for children (rabbits) as well as spending more time on sign language.

We visited the nursery for the first time in 2009 and met the team who made us feel really welcome. We looked at other nurseries in the area however this was the one for us.
Our eldest daughter started in 2010 and we haven't looked back since, she thrived at Busy Bees. We had no hesitation in booking
a place for our youngest.
The staff are always professional, knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and there is a great mixture of experience and youth within the nursery. Nothing is too much trouble for them!
I cannot praise the staff enough for what they have done for my daughters who are blossoming into beautiful young ladies.
Thank you.

My son is in the pre-school room at Busy Bees Thetford, and has been at the nursery since he was 8 months old. My eldest son also went there until he started school.

I have always felt very comfortable leaving my child at Busy Bees and have much praise for everything on offer at the setting: staff,

menu, activities, facilities, ethics, communication, the list goes on! I have had full confidence in my child's key person at every stage of growth from baby to pre-school. They always put effort in to knowing and understanding my child as an individual. They keep me well informed and listen to my thoughts as a parent. A perfect balance.

My son enjoys being there and has always been happy to see the welcoming staff and friends he has made. I love the fact that children learn so much there about personal and educational development, whilst having lots of fun too in a safe and caring environment. It also prepares them well for school.

I can't imagine not having Busy Bees in our lives!

My son has been attending this nursery since September 2016 and I am extremely pleased with my choice of this particular nursery. From day one we have been made to feel welcome by all members of staff.
This is a clean, fun nursery lead by a great team of staff. The nursery offers a good floor space,
offering a good area for children to play and explore.
This is a nursery I would highly recommend to friends and family.

I have 2 children. My first went to Busy Bee's Nursery when he was 18 months and left the nursery when he started school. My daughter started nursery when she was 13 months old and will also remain at the nursery until she starts school. Staff were fantastic at supporting both myself and the children
as they settled into nursery. It was never a problem if I wanted to call the nursery to see how the children were settling in. Feedback when I collected the children, ensured I knew what they had to eat and how their day was.

Staff are very supportive of what I want for the children as their mother and work very closely with mine and the children's requirements. My children have had very good relationships with their key workers and have always been enthusiastic to attend nursery. The activities planned for the children have ensured that both my children have had fun at nursery and learnt their colours, shapes, numbers and letters while developing in confidence. Thank you!

My son has been attending Busy Bees since he was 16 weeks old, his development is incredible.
He loves it there, and I never have any concerns over separation anxiety as he shows confidence that he is happy that we are leaving him there.
The staff are all friendly and informative abut how he is getting
on. The daily feedback is brilliant.
I recommend Busy Bees to all parents who are looking for childcare, simply because I feel confident leaving my son there which is a big thing for a parent to be able to say.

Current Review Score: 8.6 (8.639)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 8.6 (8.639) out of 10 for Busy Bees Thetford is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.8 out of 5 from 5 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 3.8 out of 5 from 5 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.797 for Busy Bees Thetford is calculated as follows: ( (48 Excellents x 5) + (10 Goods x 4) + (1 Satisfactorys x 3) ) ÷ 59 Ratings = 4.797
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 3.842 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Busy Bees Thetford is based on 5 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 10 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, and then 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews and then 0.1 Points for the next five Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.100, 7th = 0.100, 8th = 0.100, 9th = 0.100, 10th = 0.100) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 = 3.5
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 73 number of registered child places is 14.6. 5 Positive Reviews ÷ 14.6 = 0.342
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
