Clarence House Godmanchester Preschool

Clarence House is fantastic. The staff take extra special care of the children. My daughter always has lots of fun!

My daughter absolutely loves her preschool. She is learning so much and is always talking about the amazing staff. The range of activities that are offered is great and it is always lovely to see what they have been up to. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly.

Although I had reservations about the room, it doesn’t seem to bother my son! It can get very noisy and I would prefer a set up with different rooms giving the children quiet spaces. I would also prefer a larger outdoor space. I understand that the preschool don’t own this building so are limited on how it can be changed.

We have recently joined the preschool, moving from another out of area school. Everyone at Clarence House has facilitated every need of my daughter's schooling and it has made it a pleasure and so easy. The staff are helpful and very caring and have no issues with helping and answering any questions we may have.

We have been extremely happy with the nursery. Our child is learning a lot, and loving her time there.

My son attended the nursery from 8 Months and is currently at the pre-school. I’m very pleased I chose Clarence House. All the staff are great, care about the children and offer a wide variety of activities. The food always looks good too.

My daughter has been going to Clarence House for over 2 years now starting at the nursery and now in the preschool. The staff are very friendly and will always comfort her if needed, it is always a struggle to get her to leave as she has made some brilliant friends and loves the activities.

I will always praise and recommend this pre-school. My son has come leaps and bounds since going there. The staff are excellent and my son is very happy there - no complaints from me.

Clarence House (both nursery and pre-school) have looked after my daughter. She’s shown so much love and the effort to support her is amazing, even on days she’s not there she asks to go! Love the parents evenings to help ensure consistency within their care and at home. My little girl loves the themed days, the Christmas nativity etc. One thing, I really like is the what you’re doing this March? and inviting the mums in for a mother’s day session for cakes etc, brilliant. Really appreciate all that you do, the best place! :)

My son has attended since he was two. He loves it. He has progressed so much. The staff are fantastic they update us daily on what my son has done. We have access to Tapestry an online journal (private regarding our own children). I can't recommend Clarence House enough.

My daughter has been attending the pre-school for over a year and thoroughly enjoys it. All the staff have been very welcoming and have done an outstanding job; my daughter has come on leaps and bounds since going there. The children are encouraged to make use of the outside play areas, whilst indoors there is an excellent range of educational, creative and physical activities. The environment is positive, caring and secure. The hours the pre-school are open are also very good.

It's a very welcoming pre-school. Our 3-year-old loves it there and the staff and management are amazing. They keep the parents well informed about their children of what had gone on that day and details of what they had eaten. It's a warm and lovely place to be. I will highly recommend Clarence Pre-school.

Our 3 year old started at Clarence House Nursery and has now progressed to the preschool. She absolutely loves it there and has made lots of little friends. The staff are amazing and keep you well informed of what has been going on that day. I would highly recommend Clarence House!

A very welcoming preschool which my son loves to attend. He has formed great relationships with the staff and children who he will miss very much when he goes to school. There are always fun activities out for the children to do and they are encouraged to take part. Overall a lovely place to leave my child.

The staff are extremely friendly and constantly provide me with my child's development. They set goals and aims for the coming weeks, which I think is fantastic as it enables us to work with our child on the same focus areas when he is at home too. In addition, they note observations on the eyLog app which keeps us as parents up to date with our child's activities. In all, we are extremely happy that we chose Clarence House.

Very impressed with Clarence house, staff are always happy friendly and helpful. Staff have made an effort with my daughter and this is really showing in how independent she is becoming, example, her key worker showed and taught her the right way to put on her coat.

Over the last 8 years all our children have passed through Clarence House and it will be a sad day when the the last ones leave. We would not hesitate to recommend this Nursery to anyone looking for a warm and friendly setting for their children.

My little girl has been going there for over a year now and loves going. It has made her so much more confident and she has learnt so many new things there. She loves the staff and often mentions their names at home. She has made lots of friends which she will miss when she goes to school. I think it's great that a cooked meal is included in the price as well as a snack tea and morning snack (and breakfast if needed). They are flexible on dropping off/picking up and always give feedback on their day so you know what your child has done. They always seem to have a mix of activities either inside or outside which covers all the curriculum.

Very good place to have our loved children. Safe and secure and well cared for. Food is well planed and within a variety. All the members off staff are very kind to the children and parents. I had 2 of my children at Clarence House ( one still there) and both of them always were (is) happy.

My son has attended Clarence House Pre-school since November 2014 and loves attending everyday. The children are always happy and playing intently whenever I drop him off or pick him up, which is always reassuring. The staff are positively engaged with the children and give helpful feedback about their day at home time. Staff turn over seems to be healthily low (always a good sign) with regular bank staff cover but critically there is a core team of regular faces which keeps a sold foundation for all the children and allows them to form healthy bonds with the staff. My son regularly tells me that his key worker gives the best hugs. The management team are consistently supportive and will always try and be flexible and supportive with any of my requests. If I had another child I would definitely want them to go to Clarence House Pre-school.
