Apricot Nursery and Pre-School are set across two sites, ensuring that they are able to give children a truly unique and special nursery experience

Children start their journey at Apricot Nursery, which consists of three base rooms; each benefit from having their own safe, enclosed and age-appropriate outside play area. This provides all of the children with free-flow access to explore the outside play area whenever they want. Each room has its own garden area which they enjoy in all weathers. The baby room garden has two levels, the one-year-olds have a lovely space which goes round to the side of the building and the toddlers' room has a spacious garden giving the children lots of room to run and play.

When the children are ready, they will transition to the Pre-School setting, which is just a few minutes away. The Pre-School children benefit from a separate site where they are fully prepared for ‘big’ school life.

The Pre-School is ideally located within the grounds of Priory Park Infant School allowing those children who progress on to this school the opportunity to become familiar with the setting; aiding transition to Reception. For those that go on to different schools, the opportunity to be in a school environment will help children develop confidence to start school; no matter which school they decide upon.

The nursery and the pre-school offer exceptional care, enriched by unique learning opportunities for your child. One such experience is child-friendly cooking classes, helping to equip children with valuable skills and deeper knowledge of the cooking process.

Absolutely outstanding nursery. Have nothing but good things to say. A brilliant group of people. I have full trust in them helping my child to grow and develop. They always have new ideas to keep the children occupied. All the staff are always happy to help too.

My daughter has been attending Apricot Day Nursery for around 5/6 weeks. She has settled in really well. All the staff are lovely and friendly and I am happy going to work knowing she is being looked after well. My daughter's socialising has come on leaps and bounds in the short time she has been there.
She was so clingy before. She is also eating so much better now. The food provided is brilliant and she eats lots of new things. I am so glad we chose Apricots. My daughter is very happy there.

When we were first searching for a nursery for our daughter, we were looking for a place with a nurturing environment. This is exactly what we found at Apricots. From the moment the children walk in they are greeted by the staff with a smile and hello. All of the staff that have played a role in my
daughter's care have gone above and beyond to provide fantastic care, to helping her learn and grow. We receive weekly updates of what learning has taken place and love how the children's work is displayed on the walls. After every session, the staff are fantastic at telling me what our daughter has been up to. Any new achievements she may have achieved. We are very happy with how our daughter is looked after by the staff. Thank you, everyone.

I have been nothing but pleased with Apricot Nursery. All the staff there are lovely to my daughter and she loves being there. Also, the food they provide sounds really nice. They are always so nice when I or my mum go to pick her up and tell you everything she has done and how she has been. They always
send weekly emails to us, keeping us updated which I think is a lovely touch.
