Apricot Nursery and Pre-School are set across two sites, ensuring that they are able to give children a truly unique and special nursery experience

Children start their journey at Apricot Nursery, which consists of three base rooms; each benefit from having their own safe, enclosed and age-appropriate outside play area. This provides all of the children with free-flow access to explore the outside play area whenever they want. Each room has its own garden area which they enjoy in all weathers. The baby room garden has two levels, the one-year-olds have a lovely space which goes round to the side of the building and the toddlers' room has a spacious garden giving the children lots of room to run and play.

When the children are ready, they will transition to the Pre-School setting, which is just a few minutes away. The Pre-School children benefit from a separate site where they are fully prepared for ‘big’ school life.

The Pre-School is ideally located within the grounds of Priory Park Infant School allowing those children who progress on to this school the opportunity to become familiar with the setting; aiding transition to Reception. For those that go on to different schools, the opportunity to be in a school environment will help children develop confidence to start school; no matter which school they decide upon.

The nursery and the pre-school offer exceptional care, enriched by unique learning opportunities for your child. One such experience is child-friendly cooking classes, helping to equip children with valuable skills and deeper knowledge of the cooking process.

All the staff are really lovely and friendly. They are really good with my son and I always feel reassured that he will be OK and have a really good day even if he is upset after I have dropped him off.


Coming to nursery has given them the opportunity to do lots of fun activities we don't do at

home.

My niece attends this outstanding nursery and I cannot recommend it highly enough.


I collect her regularly and the staff give fantastic feedback and she is always experiencing such interesting activities.


The nursery has fantastic premises and has its own garden which they access freely and the

resources are great.


The menu is fantastic too - such varied meals.

I have nothing negative to say about the nursery. We feel confident each time we leave our son as the staff are so great with the kids. The nursery offers varied and exciting activities and makes lots of effort to engage the children.


The staff are very knowledgeable and the feedback offered is

The workers at Apricot day Nursery have been amazing! I was very uneasy when I first dropped him off due to him being very clingy but their dedication and careful manner my son is always settled and gets very excited when arriving.

The care At Apricot Day Nursery has been wonderful for my child's development. She has really settled and grown as an individual in the Sunbeams room. She loves the outdoors and it's great they have a safe outdoor space with free movement it is perfect for when the weather is warm. They maintain good
communication with the parents on a weekly basis. Also good at giving you time when you are worried/would like to discuss something.

My son is very happy at Apricot Pre-School. He never wants to leave which shows how much enjoys his day. The new uniform is a very helpful tool getting up in the morning routine ready for school.

My daughter has been very happy during her time at the pre-school. I think the staff are very friendly and approachable. The new lick of paint has made the pre-school look clean and refreshed. My son also came to the pre-school and he never had any issues.

My daughter and son-in-law are both in the armed forces. In June my daughter went 'out of area' and my son-in-law was working away too. I was more than happy to take care of my grandson.


Because I work full time on the same site as Apricot it was logical to move him from his base nursery. The staff

were very accommodating and helpful with the move and made us very welcome.


I cannot praise more highly all the staff at Apricot. I feel l shared the four month experience with warm, friendly, caring people. Thank you all.


ps My grandson is now back with his parents, a happy, talkative little man and as if nothing had ever changed.

All four of my grandchildren have attended this nursery and I cannot fault the outstanding care and education provided. My grand-daughter has recently started and the staff have helped her to settle in and develop strong attachments with her. I collect and drop her at nursery and am always given fantastic
feedback and kept up to date with her learning and next steps and ideas to do at home.


The nursery has also recently been updated and redecorated which looks fantastic. I cannot express enough gratitude to the outstanding staff, management and nursery.
