About this price
How funding is applied, how the monthly figure is calculated.More info
- Working parents of children aged 9 months to 2 years can usually claim up to 30 funded hours a week. The working-parent hours depend on each parent meeting the minimum earnings rules and earning under £100,000 a year. This nursery stretches funded hours across 51 weeks of the year. You've selected 30 funded hours.
- This nursery applies up to 8 funded hours per day, stretched across 51 weeks of the year. With your selected funding, 22.4 hours are covered each week. Hours beyond this, including the early and late parts of the day, are charged at the standard rate.
- We work out the total cost across the year and divide by 12, so the figure shown is a smoothed monthly average. In practice, nurseries bill in different ways. Some bill monthly at this average. Others bill weekly, or charge for what happened that week or month, which can vary across the year. Confirm billing details with the nursery when you enquire.

I would highly recommend Windmill nursery. It is a welcoming and well-managed nursery, and I have found that my child has greatly enjoyed and benefited from his time at the nursery. The activities are varied and immensely engaging, and the staff are friendly and helpful. We were very worried when we initially left our son in Windmill's care as he was only 9 months old but we need not have! He was well looked after, and we had daily updates of how his day had been, along with constant contact throughout the day if we felt at all worried or wanted to check he was ok. The staff were very patient and understanding with us, as new parents, and helped alleviate any concerns we might have had. Windmill has been a great nursery choice and we are very pleased with how they have looked after our precious child.
Thanks to everyone at Windmill for making it such a fab place for my kids to spend their first years!!

Windmill Day Nursery is a nursery that is like a family. The staff provide a high standard of care, whilst also allowing your child to learn independence - from Free play, to eating, to brushing teeth. The Monkey room gives a safe haven to the under 2s and provides a high level of feedback to...
Having a year round nursery that provides a considered and high standard of care for your child in a family like setting, is difficult to find and I am pleased we found it!
Staff are very friendly and accommodating. My son loves his stay and looks forward to it during the week. One of the teachers is bilingual and helps with teaching Italian for which I am very grateful as it is my heritage.

Windmill Day Nursery really helped him with this biting issue and encouraged him to express his feelings more adequately. I'm really happy we chose this nursery for him and next year I'm planning on taking my daughter there too.

The staff and management have always been friendly, kind and understanding with all of my son's needs. He loves going to nursery. The activities and learning he does there are always so well planned. I wouldn't take him anywhere else.
