Little Monkeys Day Nursery

My daughter has attended Little Monkeys Day Nursery since July 2020 and we are extremely happy with the decision we made. The staff are really friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. She loves her time there. I can’t thank them enough for all the hard work and enthusiasm that they put into everything they do with the kids. Now they even have an app where they share daily activities, what they have eaten and pictures. A really amazing place!

My daughter has attended Little Monkeys Day Nursery for two years now and she loves it. She has so much fun, learns a lot and is exhausted at the end of the week! The location is great, the staff are fantastic and the menu is a really varied selection of dishes. Would definitely recommend.

Little Monkeys Day Nursery took great care of our little daughter since she was one years old. The staff is always smiling and was always helpful and supportive, if I ever have a concern I can always reach out to our daughter's key worker and she will take the time to discuss with me whatever concern I have. We went through a very tough time as a family last year and our child's key worker was very supportive and even offered us extra help with our daughter in case we needed it. We were particularly impressed by the outstanding way Little Monkeys Day Nursery managed things throughout the pandemic. The pick up and drop offs always worked well and we were pleased to see the pandemic didn't impact the quality of the service provided. Even in terms of food we heard that other nurseries in the area started giving children only sandwiches at lunchtime during the pandemic and parents were quite disappointed by this. However this didn't happen at Little Monkeys Day Nursery and we were quite pleased with this.

Today was the last day of preschool for my son and he has been at Little Monkey's since he was one. He has had the most fantastic time, and for us, as parents, Little Monkey's has been the most nurturing, happy place for him. All the staff care so much for the kids and do the most excellent job, which has been highlighted over the last 6-months! Communication is great, and we have had the utmost confidence in the approach that they have taken. My son has had a number of key workers, all of whom have taken the time to really know who he is and have helped him become the confident, information loving little person who is now, fully equipped for school. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this nursery and all the fantastic staff!

Both my children have attended Little Monkeys, and it is hard to express what an amazing experience they both have had. I have had no concerns and would not hesitate to recommend it to other parents. My older child has additional needs, and Little Monkeys went above and beyond to meet his needs, and provide an inclusive environment for him. Both children were well prepared to move on, but we are very sad to be leaving for good now the youngest is starting school!

My 2 daughters have gone through Little Monkeys from the baby room to preschool and I have been nothing but extremely impressed by the level of care, choice of activities, toys and commitment to providing an exceptional environment for my children - the forest school is especially good!

I have and will continue to, recommend the nursery to others.

I could not have chosen a better nursery to send my children to, my 8-year-old attended and now my son, he started when he was 14 weeks old, the staff are second to none, the management very friendly and helpful, when I drop my son off to the baby room, I feel like I'm dropping him off to family, in the scary uncertain time with the lockdown, the staff have made the transition back to nursery amazing and made sure the kids' happiness is their priority, the food the children get fed is wonderful, the chefs work extremely hard putting the menus together, to see my little boy run into nursery every morning makes me feel a lot happier about leaving him for work, thank you Little Monkeys you're all amazing!

We are extremely happy with our child’s experience in Little Monkeys, always happy, engaged with the rest of the kids and all the staff. During the lockdown Little Monkeys has been amazing providing information and activities.

It makes now 2 years my daughter is at Little Monkeys. When she started she couldn’t speak nor understand English. She is now perfectly fluent and even corrects my English. Little Monkeys have been great at accommodating the need of a trilingual child. My daughter is well looked after and is developing well. I can only recommend this great nursery.

They have been very supportive during the lockdown and have been in touch to let us know what is happening and provided resources to keep our daughter busy during this time.

My son has been attending Little Monkeys full-time since his first birthday in May 2017. His experience has been nothing short of fantastic. He had no trouble settling in to the Bush Babies room and even at such a young age we could see he was eager to go to nursery. Three years on and this has not changed - he is still excited every morning about the prospect of going to nursery. He has been attending Little Monkeys since he was quite young so he has been in all the different age-groups: Bush Babies, Cheeky Chimps, and Pre-school Green and I think that all three rooms are very well equipped, and all the staff are extremely caring, nurturing, and passionate about the children's learning. He has learned an incredible amount in such a short space of time and I think that they have prepared him well for starting school in September. Communication between parents and the nursery is excellent, the food menu is amazing, and they are right next to Horsham Park which is a real bonus.

It's still early for me to evaluate the learning impact but I've heard positive things from friends with kids who attended the nursery for longer than my son.

My son has been going to the nursery since Jan 2018 and he is now in preschool. This is really the most amazing nursery. Every step of my son's development has been supported and encouraged. During the COVID-19 lockdown, we received regular updates and messages from the nursery. Sending him back was a real worry for me and they made it so easy and I know and feel that the health and well of all the children is the highest priority. My son has thrived in Little Monkeys and I would recommend it to everyone.

Both of my daughters have attended Little Monkeys and have absolutely loved it! As a parent, I have always felt completely comfortable leaving my children in the care of the wonderful staff who are caring and nurturing. My eldest is now at school and Little Monkeys really helped set her up for the school environment. My youngest is starting school this year so it will be sad to be leaving Little Monkeys behind having been a part of our lives for 6 years. I would have no hesitation in recommending Little Monkeys to anyone.

This is a fantastic nursery! We have been coming to Little Monkeys for 5 years now and will be sad when my daughter leaves to go to school! It really is fabulous lovely staff, lovely food, lots of love and fantastic activities! Both my children have and had a fantastic time here!

The new hygiene and structural measures they have in place in light of COVID-19 are very thorough and they are perfectly located at the edge of Horsham Park to utilise the outdoor space as much as possible. Our son couldn’t wait to return after the temporary closure and we feel confident the nursery are doing everything possible to eliminate any risk to staff, children, and their families.
