Located in the heart of Hove, Bright Horizons Wish Park Hove Day Nursery and Preschool welcomes and supports children aged 6 months to 5 years. Conveniently situated for both local families and commuters, the nursery is a short walk from Portslade and Aldrington train stations, offering easy access to Brighton City Centre. The nursery's gated garden opens directly onto Wish Park, and its proximity to the local beach provides additional opportunities for outdoor adventures.
The nursery accommodates children in three primary rooms, specifically designed for babies, Two’s, and Pre-schoolers. Separate creative rooms for the Two’s and Pre-schoolers further enhance their learning experiences. The Two’s creative room features a captivating marine fish tank, showcasing creatures like Nemo, Dory, and a starfish with an uncanny resemblance to an octopus.
Outdoor spaces are thoughtfully designed to inspire and engage. Babies and Two’s enjoy access to their own sensory room, while the Summer House serves as an innovative outdoor classroom for pre-schoolers. The garden includes safe, dedicated areas for babies to explore, featuring a playhouse, storytelling corner, sand and water play, and toys that encourage developmental growth.
The garden also offers a variety of activities aimed at fostering creativity and physical development, including a mud kitchen, sand and water play, climbing equipment, and a playhouse. A hands-on growing area introduces children to planting and caring for fruits and vegetables, encouraging a connection with nature and an appreciation for healthy eating. These experiences not only provide entertainment but also teach valuable life skills.

Our daughter has attended Tinysaurus Nursery since she was 9 months old (she is now 4.5 years). Her development in all areas has been phenomenal and we have recommended several friends to sign up sooner rather than later when they have been pregnant. The management and her team are dedicated, genuinely care about the children and staff turnover seems to be low which has to be a good sign of a happy environment. I wouldn't send our child anywhere else - it's home away from home for her and I trust them implicitly.

My son went to the nursery and moved into school last year, but my daughter is a very happy pupil currently. Having been a customer of the nursery for a number of years now, I can't recommend the nursery highly enough. The staff are very helpful, responsive and creative. My son required additional support due to his disabilities and the strategies were implemented quickly and effectively, which gave him the best possible experience to thrive in a lovely nursery. My daughter always has a smile on her face when she is dropped off and picked up and has clearly had a day full of fun. The nursery has a lovely outside area and lots of different rooms in the house and outside and this creates different learning areas for the children to enjoy. An excellent nursery, where the staff truly care about the children and keep the parents well informed.
My son has been attending Tinysaurus for 6 months and I honestly can't imagine sending him anywhere else! He literally can't wait to get through the door in the morning. The staff are enthusiastic, positive and genuinely care about children!

They treat children and parents with utmost respect. I love the fact my son can choose what he wants to do for most of the day whilst being invited to engage in all manner of activities from painting to cooking! Could not have wished for a better nursery- 100% recommend.

His social skills and physical development has been amazing. Also the varied foods he gets to eat at nursery really make it easier when giving him new dishes at home. He is always happy to go in and all the staff are lovely also giving you updates when collection, of what they have been up to throughout the day, along with giving you more info in his book bag. Couldn't recommend the nursery enough.

He achieved so much there and the manager and whole team helped us all so much. Our son went to school in September but our daughter now goes to Tinysaurus and is absolutely thriving. She is so happy there and it is such a home from home. Warm, caring, immaculate, creative - and that's just the staff! A brilliant nursery.
We have been customers of Tinysaurus for 5 years, with all our children attending the nursery full time. (Our eldest is now at school, daughter is at Tinysaurus and my youngest is due to start in June).

The nursery is outstanding in the way they provide (and have provided) care to our children. They are always warm and welcoming and promote the same values and behaviours that we do at home. Our children are growing up as confident individuals, who support others, while their own individual interests and abilities are developed and nurtured by the friendly staff.
My opinion is that it's a brilliant nursery. My son was such a mummy's boy but settled in so quickly. Everything is well run and I would like to say that all the staff here are so lovely and kind to you. My son came on so well in every way when he was here. Really loved it.

My son has been going to Tinysaurus for almost a year now. Sometimes I feel that he learns and develops more in the two days spent there than the rest of the time that he is at home with me. Needless to say his development has been astounding and he has visibly grown in confidence and competence. I...
We couldn't be happier and baby number 2 was signed up to go before he was even born. In this regard, particularly, the staff were great with our son, helping prepare him for the new arrival in the family and being especially conscientious after his brother's birth as he experienced a bit of a 'wobble'. We're very grateful for the amazing time he has at Tinysaurs.
Tinysaurus staff are all amazing, my daughter absolutely loves it there. I couldn't have asked for a better start for her. Every day is filled with exciting, fun and educational experiences. I also have 100% confidence hat she will be extremely happy and safe as soon as I drop her off. I highly...

This is my second child who attends the nursery. My son started about 6 months ago and has always been very happy! The manager and the team are great, friendly and professional. Tinysaurus is a very homely place and I'm glad I've chosen them to look after my kids!!!

My daughter moved to Tinysaurus when we moved house 18 months ago. The team made her feel so welcome and the transition went really well. On days when she found it tough being dropped off they were amazing at distracting her and now she loves going every week.

Best nursery! My daughter loved her time at Tinysaurus and loved every one of the staff, especially one nursery practitioner in particular, she was her favourite! It was always very clean and welcoming. My daughter tried a lot of different food thanks to Tinysaurus.

Thank you Tinysaurus.
I was worried about leaving my 9-month-old in the care of strangers having not been apart from her and hearing the horror stories of some nurseries from friends. I need not have worried at all. From the moment I visited Tinysaurus and took my daughter to the baby room, I have not regretted choosing...
There is home cooked food, water games, chickens in the garden next to the toy helicopter which backs onto a park and they even provide wraparound care as I work longer than their opening hours. She now comes home telling me how her day has been and is always packed and ready to go to nursery keenly in the morning. Don't bother looking anywhere else.

They have so many toys, activities and play areas, both indoors and out for the Under 2's and older children. The girls there are all lovely, my son has settled in really well and is so happy with his key worker. There is honestly nothing I would change about Tinysaurus and I have enjoyed watching my son thrive in their care.
I simply cannot recommend this nursery highly enough. Staff and management consistently go above and beyond and with one child now in Reception and one child currently still attending I can confirm it has prepared my son fantastically well for Primary School and I'll be very sad when my daughter...

Moving my son to Tinysaurus from another nursery was one of my best decisions. Drop-offs in the morning went from 30-40 min to "bye mummy" and not even looking back.

The staff are great and it really feels like they all like being there and like looking after children. They view them as people and give them proper respect. He's learnt so much and really enjoys going there. When he comes back he always tells me about all the things they have been up to and it's great to know that they offer an environment when children are allowed to learn, play and feel safe.
The facilities are always nice and clean. Their method is very structured but it works very well and offers a great stability that I think has been very good for my son.Food is great and varied, they are allowed to explore and try many different things and I have noticed a difference in him eating more things that he has tried at the nursery.

The team from manager to keyworker, and everyone in between have been so attentive and nothing has been too much trouble for them.
My daughter is so happy at nursery, it's a wonderful place and by far
the best in so many ways from the garden, floor space, food provided and of course the care and attention the staff give is without question the best.

I have a 2.5 year old who is currently at Tinysaurus and a 7 year old who went to Tinysaurus from 9 months right through to starting school. I think I looked round about 12 nurseries before going to Tinysaurus for my daughter. She loved it from day 1 and would have gone 7 days a week given half the chance and she still talks about her fond memories of nursery. They do wonderful activities with the children and are fantastic at getting the older children ready for school. Both my children have had eating problems and the staff have been fantastic at working with them and encouraging a healthy attitude to food. The staff are kind and caring and the children love the staff. The nursery is well run, has excellent communication with parents, is clean and very friendly with fantastic staff to children ratios. I honestly can't think of anything negative to say about Tinysaurus, my kids love it and so do all my friends who I've recommended Tinysaurus to.

Our over-riding feeling is that all of the staff at Tinysaurus care deeply about the welfare and emotional well-being of the children and are extremely supportive of our ever-changing routines. The activities are varied and my daughter has a lot of fun and has made lots of friends. Although one of the more expensive nurseries, the value you get for the small difference in cost of others is outstanding and well worth it. Do go and visit them and see what a fantastic place it is for yourself as I cannot imagine any child not being happy here.

Hi Everyone, I'm Maxine and I am the deputy manager here at Wish Park Day Nursery and Preschool.
I started my journey with the company in October 2014 starting as an apprentice, completing my qualifications in childcare and in leadership. Progressing within the company through different leadership roles, being a SENCO and now landing the role of deputy manager.
I am passionate about ensuring children have the best start in education and progressing onto their next milestones to their full potential. In my spare time, I like cycling, walking along the beach and spending time with family and friends.
