This is a great nursery! My daughter has been going here since she was 7 months old and I couldn't be happier. The staff are all caring and have bundles of energy to keep all the children entertained throughout the day. My daughter gets excited to go in the morning, running to members of staff for a cuddle and always comes home happy and tired from her days here. There are always activities going on and the children are obviously kept busy and learning throughout the day. The food always goes down a treat and I love that they spend time outside playing. The staff have been really supportive of anything we're trying to do at home and are generally interested in the children they look after. The atmosphere in this nursery is brilliant, you feel instantly happy walking through the door as everyone seems to be having so much fun!

My son is 2 and has been attending Bear's House since October 2018, he absolutely loves it. The staff at Bear's House are so caring and passionate about the children; helping them improve existing skills whilst learning new ones. I couldn't wish for a better nursery, this was the first one we looked at and we all fell in love with it from day one. The nursery provides so many activities and opportunities for the children, and communication between them and parents is fantastic. My son loves the varied meals and snacks that are provided which is always healthy and well balanced.

My son has a food allergy and the nursery are brilliant in ensuring he remains safe in this area.

On days my soon attends I leave knowing he is safe and well looked after and I have no concerns, he always comes home a very happy boy.

A wonderful home from home nursery. Bear's House has been fantastic from day one, staff are super friendly and helpful. Always a welcoming smile which quickly reassures children and allows them to be settled quickly. They have a good range of rooms and spaces which allows children to explore, play and develop a range of friendships. They have high expectations of children and clear routines with food, hygiene and behaviour.

Both my children have flourished here and built their confidence to be able to be ready to start school. The staff go above and beyond and have genuine care and love for the children they look after.

This is an amazing nursery, my little girl has been here over a year and loves to come every time, she has learnt a huge deal since starting and has become very confident child. They spend a lot of time outside which my girl really enjoys. The staff are very professional and are really good at what they do also talk to you and let you know how they have been getting on and also what they have been up to during the day, would highly recommend this fantastic nursery.

The nursery provides a real "home from home" atmosphere for the children. I like the way they are divided into appropriate age groups yet still allowed to mix with the younger and older children as this teaches different levels of social interaction. The staff are really lovely, always smiling and always willing to go the extra mile to help in whatever way they can. The building itself is very homely and not daunting at all for younger babies and toddlers with different rooms for different activities which I liked as opposed to it being one open space. The garden is really beautiful in the Summer and I like the way the children are encouraged to spend so much time outdoors playing. My son has been very happy since he started and has been supported throughout his development. He is really thriving in the nursery - his speech and counting, colour recognition and confidence are amazing. I can't really fault it at all - it is simple, lovely and friendly and keeps my son safe and happy.

We have been really pleased with the care and support our children have been given to settle into the nursery. Their wellbeing is thought about carefully and staff have been sensitive to their basic needs. (Sleep, hunger, health) and responded to them individually and on a day to day basis. It is fantastic that the food is cooked on site and so far the children are enjoying this. The outside space is fantastic and we can look forward to the summer when they can spend more time outside.

My son only started a month ago as I was returning to work and I'm so pleased with how well he is doing at Bear's House. Everyone is so friendly and reassuring when my son gets upset when I leave. I love that it's very important to the nursery that the children spend as much time as they can outside (in good weather) - Thank you.

I have a passion for developing both staff and children to reach their full potential. Giving all our children here at Bears House the best start in their early years of education.

I love how much time the children spend outside and the opportunities on offer here. I am excited to continue developing this welcoming nursery further.

I have worked at Bears House since it opened its St Leonards site in 2016. I have been a nursery practitioner for 8 years.

I have a daughter who is 8 months old and has attended Bears House Nursery since she was 5 months; she absolutely loves our nursery and being a part of our growing setting.

I have a good understanding of how new children feel when joining the setting and as deputy manager, I am able to oversee show rounds and settling-in sessions.

I am responsible for overseeing our big bears (2-4 years) ensuring all children are happy & encouraged to thrive within our setting.

I love being involved in messy play and being creative, especially around Christmas time.

My biggest passion is being a positive influence in children’s earliest years throughout their learning and development.

I am:
