The nursery is an excellent place. My son often comes home having learned a new skill or word. He's very happy there and looks forward to going each day.
The facilities are good especially since the refurb.
It would be good to see an improvement of outdoor play areas as it's quite dated.
Staff are
great.

Bear's House staff have been fantastic with our boys. They cannot wait to get in each morning. Our eldest won't stop talking about all the lovely things they do there. We feel very comfortable leaving them there each day, knowing they are so well looked after.

I have a 4-year-old girl and 2-year-old boy attending Robins Nest. When we start our journey to nursery in the mornings, the children are excited; my 4-year-old will talk about her friends, teachers, activities. I am confident dropping my children off in to Robins Nest's care. My children have very
good social and communication skills and are achieving goals. They reach for books and enjoy learning. They eat nutritious meals, usually asking for seconds as they like the food very much. Facilities are bright, welcoming, safe; proud displays of work and achievements change depending on topics, seasons, festivals. Information and updates are thorough, informative, honest. All staff interact with my children regardless of whether that member of staff works with my child, and all staff interact with us Grownups. Events (sports day, nativity, graduation) are conducted with warmth, genuineness, a clear sense of family togetherness. My eldest is 'graduating' and is sad to leave Robins Nest.

We couldn't be happier with Bear's House Nursery. From day one, the staff have been so warm and welcoming-not just to our little boy, but to us as parents too. Our son is now 2 and he settled in so much quicker than we expected, which was such a relief!
He comes home every day full of energy and stories
(in his own little way!) and it's so clear he's happy there. His speech and confidence have really come along in the last few months, and we love seeing how much he's learning through play. The team are always friendly and approachable, and we really appreciate the little updates and pictures we get-it's lovely to see what he's been up to when we're not there. The outdoor space is great too, with lots of equipment and toys on offer.
Honestly, we feel really lucky to have found Bear's House. Thank you to all the lovely staff :)

Incredibly happy with the care both my boys receive from all the staff at Bear's House Nursery, Hastings. My eldest has been attending Bears since he was 9/10 months, he's now four and has been thriving since day one. My youngest has recently started and adores everyone and has the most fun! We can't
fault anything and are so happy we chose Bears for both of our boys, thank you!!

Everyone that works there is lovely. Have helped my little boy progress in all aspects. He's talking more and they pay attention to what he is interested in and use this for his learning. He enjoys attending here and goes in every morning with no issues as he loves all the girls that look after him.

Robins Nest is a lovely nursery and both my children love going and cannot wait to get in the door! All the staff are wonderful and go above and beyond for the children. The same team of staff have been there from the beginning which is really nice for the children as they have such a close bond with
them all. My son is going through an autism diagnosis and Robins Nest have been brilliant, they have helped and supported us from the beginning and we could not have done it without them. Lovely home-cooked food every day, my children always have seconds! And never come home hungry. They have a nativity and sports day every year which is lovely for the children and family to come and watch. I cannot praise them enough.

Both my children have attended this nursery and we've all loved it. The staff there genuinely care about the children, and teach them life skills as well as having a lot of fun in the garden or painting or singing. I've had to search online a lot of nursery rhymes and my daughter comes out with a stack
of 'art' every day. Very sad to be leaving but I feel lucky to have found such a wonderful nursery that has set both my children up so well for school. Thank you!

Both our children have attended Bear's House Nursery, twelve years apart. Our daughter recently graduated preschool here, ending our nursery journey spanning over fifteen years with Bear's House. We will be extremely emotional to say goodbye to this extremely dedicated, hardworking and caring team.
They always go above and beyond for the children and it's heartwarming to see the special connections made between the team, the children and their peers.
We were grateful to be able to attend the preschool leaver's trip to the farm recently, which is a wonderful and well-organised day out for the children. Additionally, the graduation morning was also very touching and the parting gifts were very thoughtful and appreciated.
A huge thank you to every single one of the team that has given so much to helping our children grow. Your efforts are not unnoticed and will always be cherished.

My son is starting big school in September and although he is excited, he will miss Bear's House immensely. Under their care, he has grown in confidence and gained valuable relationships with the staff there. The staff have been great with communication and keeping us up to date with his day-to-day
learning. They regularly update the app so we get a great insight into the valuable things he is getting up to. As a parent, I couldn't be more thankful to everyone there for the love and care they have provided.

All of the staff at the Bear's House Nursery are incredibly warming, friendly and humbly real. As a mum, it's something I look for when looking for childcare. All staff communicate brilliantly and my little one always has a brilliant day, even on the bad days. Relationships are built with trust and
care - a holistically, enriching environment for all children. I would 100% recommend.

I took my 12-week-old baby to this nursery very reluctantly as she was such a young baby, but I cannot describe in words how comforting and caring all the staff who took care of my baby were. They even cared about my feelings and made sure I was happy and felt like I could be in control and talk with
them anytime. My child is a happy and structured 9 month old all because we work together as a team. She is now trying warm food from the nursery, which she is enjoying and is coming on leaps and bounds.

My little boy started nursery when he was a year old. He's really come out of his shell and thrived during his time at the Bear's House. He's made some lovely friends, and the staff have all been very supportive, professional and nurturing.
Our favourite things about the nursery are 1) the lovely,
big outside space that's always well maintained and the children seem to use it a lot.
2) the food is all made on-site and from scratch.

Bears House is a fantastic nursery that achieves the perfect balance between care and education for their children. Since day one we’ve felt our son was looked after with real care, kindness and love - whilst also feeling he was being pushed to develop and prepare for school.

This nursery is such a wonderful setting for my daughter, we loved it so much we’ve sent both our daughters here. They apply a good mix of educational activities with fun!
