Healthy food given to children is an absolute bonus, and one less thing to worry about!
Would recommend this nursery 100%.
My daughter has loved going to this nursery and really has blossomed. The staff are lovely and kind people who nurture the children when needed and offer a lot of support. My son has had a hard time here because he transitioned from another nursery. While he has been a difficult child the staff have still treated him with respect and supported him with lots of encouragement. They have also helped me to get some guidance on this behavioural problems and he is headed in the right direction now. The kids love the staff, food, equipment and entertainment.
We were a little apprehensive with using a brand new nursery - would they have enough staff, resource, equipment etc. We have been however more than pleased with all aspects of care at Toad Hall. The staff are excellent, the manager is brilliant, knows all the children's names and sorts any issues even those you don't even see as an issue in no time. The facilities being brand new are lovely and it is great that thy have their own kitchen on site - I have seen the food and it is lovely. I would highly recommend this nursery.
Well recommended!!!
Routines at Toad Hall are fantastic, drop offs are stress free - even when little one is a little sensitive that day and doesn't want me to leave he instantly has the staffs attention with cuddles and fun things to distract him. He eats very well, all freshly prepared meals which 9/10 he will eat most of! There really is nothing I can fault Toad Hall for, if you are thinking of nursery for your little one be sure to take a look around Toad Hall, you won't look any further!
The facilities are great and brand new, very well equipped with loads of toys.
Food is prepared onsite and seems healthy.
Kids are involved in all sort of activities. Recently they went to the food market and bought a fish and a few days ago they prepared their own meal. They do different messy plays, creative or pretend activities (recently they had a hairdresser corner, now it's a post office...). Each room has access to a garden with numerous toys, grass and soft ground.
The management team is always available to discuss or listen to any concerns or answer questions.
We visited several nurseries before choosing this one and we have never regretted our choice, as, even though it's fairly big, it doesn't feel impersonal as some nurseries can do.
Fantastic nursery, I can leave my son without a flicker in my mind, and I know his emotional, physical, developing and progressing needs are met by the staff and facilities at Toad Hall exceptionally. Since beginning last year my sons has developed in leaps and bounds and I couldn't ask for him to feel any happier going into his childcare each day. Thank you to all the managers and staff!
My little boy started in March and has settled in really well. The staff are amazing and so is the nursery. They are very helpful if you have any concerns about your child's progression. Also if your child has an accident and it's really bad they ring you straight away and advise you at what they think is best to do which was perfect when my little boy fell and cut just above his eye. Thanks Toad Hall I will be sending my youngest to the nursery when he turns two :)
What I did not expect was the imagination and resourcefulness of the management, constantly coming up with new fun ideas for activities and events over the past months, and being very receptive to parent feedback. Particular highlights for my son were the weekly visiting music teacher, visit from the reptile man, and cooking activities. He had a great time at preschool, and now is very ready for starting 'big school'.
Toad Hall is like our extended family. The team are fantastic and my son loves it here. I know when I drop him off he is safe and very well cared for and couldn't ask for any more, if he's happy I'm happy.
My son loves attending the Toad Hall day nursery at Goldsworth Park and even though he only comes once a week the staff are great and put him at ease. He especially loves the outdoor play area and participating in the sporting activities.
All the staff are very friendly and attentive our son's needs. They discuss his time spent there with you and never try to rush you out the door. My son enjoys his time at the nursery (once he's there!), he's going through a clingy stage so most sessions start and end with tears but I know he has fun once I'm gone and the staff handle the situation well. He enjoys all the activities, especially playing in the sand and going into the nice garden they have.
The nursery is fully equipped with everything they could need and everything is provided so you don't have to worry about a thing.
Location can be a big part too, we are lucky to have the nursery just 2 minutes walk away. It's based in a lovely location and allows the staff to organise outings round the lake, to the shop and on the bus etc.!
I would definitely recommend the nursery to others.
