The Roslin Nursery is a well established nursery, located in Staines upon Thames close to the town centre and the mainline railway station.
The nursery is registered to cater for children aged 3 months to 5 years on a part or full time basis from the hours of 8.00am to 6.00pm and is open Monday to Friday throughout the year with the exception of Bank holidays and the period between Christmas day and the New Year.
The Manager, and staff at Roslin have been carefully selected on the grounds of experience, qualification and those special qualities that are essential for those caring for young children.

The Roslin Nursery provides a safe, secure, loving and stimulating environment. Where all children, irrespective of their individual abilities, have the opportunity to grow in self-confidence, self-worth and acquire social skills and educational competence.

We had an excellent time at this nursery. My daughter started this nursery at the age of nine months. As a doctor and working long hours during the Pandemic, nursery staff and management were a second home for my daughter.
She had a lovely time in all rooms, very well looked after by everyone.
The
nursery and toddlers' staffs are amazingly pleasant and helpful with everything.
Staff helped us with Potty training, linguistics, and building up social skills.


Highly recommend it to everyone.

I've had two children in Roslin, and my youngest is now in her last year. She went through the three different rooms, and in each of the rooms, they have wonderful, welcoming and friendly - staff who make sure that all children are happy and settled. When my daughter went through a tricky phase, it
was communicated well with me, and the staff did everything they could to make her (and us) feel at ease. You can feel that they genuinely care for the children, not only the staff in the rooms but also the manager, who is very forthcoming and has a good relationship with the parents.
The staff plan a lot of activities, giving them space to be creative. Arts and crafts are often linked to a seasonal topic, which is lovely. They read a lot of books, which my children love talking about. They make sure that the children play outside and also try their best to get them to eat their fruit and veg, which I am very grateful for.
I can highly recommend this nursery, and we are going to be very sad when my youngest leaves.

I would highly recommend Roslin Nursery for anyone considering a childcare provider. I’ve had 2 children attend Roslin Nursery and with my youngest I just knew that I wanted them to go to Roslin Nursery. Both of my children have been happy at Roslin Nursery and I know that they are safe and cared for
when they are there. The Ladies genuinely care about the children and it has a family feel to it. You are always greeted with a smile in the morning and at pick up. As a parent the communication is great and you know what your children have been doing during the day. There is a wide range of activities planned for the children to support their growth and development. Both of my children have thrived at Roslin Nursery.

Our daughter has just finished her time in the baby room Buttercups and is moving up to the next room a happy, confident and clever girl! Her speech has developed amazingly, as has her confidence and we have no doubt that is due to the fantastic care she's received at Roslin Nursery. All the ladies
in that room have been amazing at developing and caring for her and she has a wonderful bond with them all. Thank you so so much for taking such wonderful care of our daughter and for helping her development so much - we will miss you all so much!

Would highly recommend Roslin Nursery. The staff are so caring and it's such a positive and happy environment. We've had our 3 children going there for several years now. They've really thrived and loved going to the nursery every day. It's got a lovely feeling to it.

Our son attended Roslin for almost 3-years, and it has been a great experience for both him and us as parents. We have chosen Roslin because it had a family feeling to it, nice staff and good outdoor space and we were not disappointed.
Our son looked forward to going there every day and had a great
time, made friends and loved his teachers. He has always been happy and engaged at the nursery.
He started as a baby and went through all the different classes. Support was provided at each stage and all transitions were very smooth. The staff has always been very caring, warm and loving and we have been very impressed with how much support and initiative the staff has shown during the potty training period.
We have also felt that the nursery has always shared all the information about our son, negative and positive, which helped us build a relationship of trust with them.
I have no hesitation in recommending Roslin Nursery to other parents.

Our children really enjoyed their time at Roslin Nursery. We chose it because it had a homely, safe feeling and friendly staff. They both settled in really well from the very beginning as babies and each transition to the next stage room was the same. This was down to the caring staff, the fun activities
and the nursery's ability to develop independence and confidence. The food was tasty and the children were encouraged to try new things. World festivals and frequent theme changes meant the nursery was always trying something new. We were sad when we said goodbye to everyone.

My son attended Roslin Nursery from 14 months old until he was four and a half. He went through all three rooms at Roslin and we have been impressed with the level of care he has received. Roslin very much has a family feel to it and the staff genuinely care about the children and each other. My son
has now started school and I believe Roslin have prepared him well for this. He has a firm foundation of phonics, numbers, letters and more importantly skills to make friends and have good communication. I thoroughly recommend Roslin.

My son attended Roslin for three years on a part time basis from 9 months old to 3 and a half years old. Leaving a baby in another person's care is a very hard choice for any new parent, and the team at Roslin understood that very much. They were very attentive to him when he first settled in. He quickly
formed bonds with different members of staff and his confidence grew.


Even as a baby, the environment at Roslin is very creative and engaging and they always have the children involved in many different activities. At every stage of my son's time at Roslin he was lovingly cared for, transitioned through the various classes and guided through all sorts of development. His character has grown so much in the time he has been there and he really loved going to nursery. I have to say that I was very impressed with the food that was cooked by the resident chef for all the children, at all stages. I always felt good knowing that my son had healthy meals to eat whilst he wasn't at home with me.

Lovely, friendly, caring environment. Our boy picked up many skills and became confident and socially adept. Always happy to help. Was very sad to leave when we moved house in January. Would recommend to anybody!

Choosing a nursery for my son was difficult, leaving him with strangers was a daunting thought. We viewed 4 nurseries in the local area ranging from £50.00 - £90.00 per day. When we came to visit it just had a lovely feel to it and the staff were so welcoming. Our son who was 18 months old played there
straight away. We didn't hesitate and signed him there for 2 days a week. He started in Oct 2016 and at first, he was dubious but now he waves us off in the mornings and he loves going. There is a physical playroom which is great and he paints, colours, plays, sings and talks and is getting more social all the time. Highly recommended.

My son started attending Roslin Nursery in late August. The staff were amazing, helping him to settle in and although the beginning was hard for him, he soon started looking forward to going to nursery. The staff are very professional but warm and loving at the same time. They have a great relationship
with the children and truly care about them. The children are supported with their learning and social skills. The nursery has good facilities and provides great child care.

My son has attended since 10 months and is now 3, and has loved it here. The staff genuinely care for the children, and my son has always given the staff big cuddles in the morning, so loves them too. Great facilities including 'extra' pay for options, and for me, it's the right size and the opposite
of a chain-style nursery, feeling very welcoming and homely. Some areas of admin could improve, eg. bills can be confusing with all the childcare voucher/15 hour free payments.

A really caring and personal nursery. Staff are great, dedicated and caring. Any concerns or problems are listened too and dealt with quite collaboratively with parents. So pleased we found this nursery when we did.

Our daughter has been at Roslin for a year, since she was 11 months old. She absolutely loves it and it's a fantastic nursery, with genuinely caring staff, who really tailor things to their individual characters and needs. I feel like my daughter is not just looked after, but loved.

Hello, I am Aradhana, an Early Years Teacher by qualification.
With over 15 years of experience in childcare and a strong foundation gained through completing my Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS) at Middlesex University, I am deeply committed to supporting every child’s learning and development.
I am passionate about providing high-quality, inclusive childcare where each child feels valued, supported, and inspired to thrive. It is incredibly rewarding to watch children grow in confidence, independence, and curiosity during their time with us. I strive to ensure every child in our care feels safe, happy, and ready to take on the challenges of the world with confidence.
My goal is to create a warm, welcoming, and nurturing environment—not only for our children but also for their families and the entire nursery team.
