Christopher Robin Day Nursery - Burpham

We couldn't be happier!

Our daughter had a fantastic time at Christopher Robin Burpham nursery in the 18 months she was there. All the staff are kind, welcoming and all so good with the children, and little ones are kept busy with lots of fun and interesting activities. Parents get regular updates and pictures through the app and you can see how much fun each of the children are having. We recently moved away from the area and wished we could have moved Christopher Robin Burpham with us! I can't speak highly enough of the nursery itself or the people that work there.

An excellently run nursery with a great team who are always approachable. Staff are always attentive and provide informative feedback at pick up. Lots of variety in activities and the nursery garden is fantastic. We are very pleased we chose this nursery for our sons early years, he has learnt so much and become so independent and curious.

We have had an amazing experience with the Christopher Robin Burpham nursery as our two children transition into their new nursery setting. All staff have been attentive and considerate of both of their needs, and we are so happy seeing how their new relationships with their new key workers are forming. We are so happy with choosing this nursery setting for the both of them.

It's truly a special place, and we are so grateful for the love and support they have shown our little one. My son is going to miss you all so much-and so will we! Thank you for everything!

I have had a relationship with Christopher Robin Day Nursery - Burpham for over 9 years, sending both my children there. It holds a very special place in my heart and will continue to do so forever. They really are such a lovely nursery. The staff are lovely bending over backwards to make you and the children's day is as smooth as possible. Professionals but with the friendly edge. I would recommend this place over and over. I was so emotional on my sons last day because I knew the relationship with nursery had come to an end. I will miss the staff and the nursery very much but I will always be very grateful so thank you and thankful for the memories they created with both my children. It is expensive but when you see what they do with the children it's worth every penny. (The invoice is the only thing I will miss) but I would pay it ten times over to have the experience all over again. They learn as well as activities, so I feel both my children transitioned into school smoothly. Thank you to the managers and the team.

Couldn't be happier with the nursery. When my daughter first started there, I was very nervous. But all of the staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating to help her feel comfortable to settle in. After just a few days, my daughter is now always excited to go in. The staff regularly provide updates on how her day has been and also has an online portal to provide updates. It is obvious that the management there runs a tight ship and is highly organised with clear policies and procedures, which is important to me because it reassures me that my daughter is in safe hands. At the same time, they balance this out with ensuring a fun and educational environment where I have confident that my daughter will have plenty of opportunities to thrive.

Our son attended the nursery a few years ago, and our daughter currently attends in Tiggers class. Both have had the most rewarding time there! They loved the activities that are offered and especially French lessons on a Friday. The staff have always been welcoming, caring and so hard working. We have nothing negative to say!

It's clear that all the girls in piglets room genuinely care about each and every child under their care. My daughter names them all with a big grin on her face showing the huge positive impact they have all had on her. Huge thanks to the manager and all the piglets team for everything that they continue to do.

The facilities are great with a big garden, lots of toys and activities along with a good location for the local primary school. The nursery has been great in preparing him for school and he has bonded well with multiple teachers at the nursery over the years he has been there.

Choosing a nursery for our son was of course a very important decision. From the moment we got shown around on our first visit, we felt so welcomed and valued, which really helped cement our decision to choose Christopher Robin in Burpham. Our son has been at the nursery for 5 weeks now, and every day when we pick him up, he has a beaming smile on his face. The relationship he is developing with the staff is so lovely to witness. It is clear that the staff really care about the children in their care. It is not just a job - they are invested in ensuring that the children really enjoy their days. We look forward to seeing the photo updates on the nursery app, and to reading what the kids have been up to that day. The outdoor space is beautiful and spacious, and the kids get involved in a great variety of both play and educational activities (much more than my son would have the chance to enjoy at home!). I'm so pleased we chose CR for our son, and I would absolutely recommend them.

My child has absolutely loved attending this nursery! From day one, he has felt right at home, and it's clear that he's happy and thriving here. The teachers are fantastic - they genuinely care about each child and go above and beyond to create a nurturing and fun environment. There are always so many activities to keep the kids engaged, from creative arts and crafts to outdoor playtime in the spacious garden, which is perfect for letting them explore and enjoy the fresh air. The manager has also been incredibly accommodating, always attentive to our needs, and will always help if she can. They've really made the nursery a welcoming place for our family, and I couldn't be happier with the care and attention my son receives. I highly recommend this nursery to any parent looking for a supportive and enriching environment for their little one.

I am really grateful for all the effort and patience the nursery has shown in supporting my son to settle in. We used to find morning drop-offs a real struggle, but they are now a lot smoother. They have encouraged friendships, which I think has helped him feel more comfortable going into nursery. He is also really starting to enjoy the range of activities, including French, and he seems a more confident boy. He really loves the garden! Thank you again.

Our four-year-old daughter left Christopher Robin (Burpham) at the end of July 2024. She moved to the nursery in December 2022 just before she turned 3. Previous to that she was at a nursery in town. Christopher Robin did such a great job of making her feel welcome and loved. She genuinely seemed to love attending the nursery and would always happily go in and make the most of her days there. The teachers also gave great feedback, especially during the parents' evenings, it was clear how much they cared for the children. We also appreciate the leaving gifts (the physical photo album and digital learning diary), our daughter has fallen asleep clutching the photo album more than once. It takes a massive effort to put these things together and they're so special for the children and the parents to remember their time with the nursery. Overall, I highly recommend Christopher Robin Burpham.

Whilst it's still early days, we're grateful for the care given by the team to our daughter who has formed early bonds with many of the staff and is clearly thriving during her time at the nursery including napping and eating well.

I found Christopher Robinson Nursery by recommendation. And now I want to recommend that lovely place. The staff is friendly with a lot of experience which I saw from my little one how many things we already know from there.
