We are so delighted to have found Butterflies as a nursery for our son. He has been attending since he was 9 months old, and now 9 months on, he has flourished into a bright, curious and chatty toddler under their excellent care. He goes in happily every day, greeted by name (and often without a backwards glance for his parents!), and comes out at the end of the day beaming. The staff there are so friendly and just as excited at every new milestone as we are. It is really such a load off, knowing how well cared for he is whilst we work. A gem of a place.

Have had two children at Butterflies and I am so happy with the care they receive. My oldest came from another nursery that we were unhappy at and moving was the best decision we ever made. She settled in quickly and was happy, confident and stimulated. A term into school, she is still in touch with friends she made there. My youngest (19 months old) is still there and very happy. She can be quite grumpy, but they always give her lots of care and attention and she now is so happy there. She never seems in a rush to go home! There is an unusually low turnover of staff and so everyone knows everyone and it feels like a big family. They know all the children incredibly well and have strong, caring relationships with each child. There is a big garden space and lots and lots of time is spent out there and they make lots of effort to do diverse and interesting activities.

My 3-year-old daughter is thriving at Butterflies. She is always so happy to go to nursery and always full of joy when I collect her! The staff are extremely nurturing and the nursery always has a very warm, family feel about it. We are so pleased we chose Butterflies for our daughter and we couldn't recommended them enough!

Our eldest joined Butterflies at the age of two years old and still tells me she wishes she could go back to nursery, while our youngest began at six months and every evening on the way home says "I want to go back nursery". The Butterflies staff are a warm, loving and vibrant team and our daughter references each of them by name, proving that every one of them invests time to ensure her time at Butterflies, four days a week, is a happy one. The location is a massive draw for us. Knowing the children have access to such a big outside space is wonderful, then there's the forest and park in close proximity, which is always a treat to visit. Our daughter is dairy and gluten intolerant and the team provide her with tasty meals she can enjoy, but also take the time to ensure there's a suitable substitute when, for example, baking cakes for children in need or having hot chocolate in the garden. I can't recommend the nursery highly enough.

Our son absolutely loves going to Butterflies and does a little happy dance when we tell him it's a nursery day. He has learnt lots of nursery rhymes and actions over the last few weeks and comes home every day, with new words.

I have a very energetic 3-year-old boy.
He loves going to nursery and seeing his friends.
The staff are brilliant with him and he's always happy when I pick him up.
The garden is brilliant. A great area to run around in and all year round. He loves the woodland walks at Christmas followed by a hot chocolate on return back to the nursery.

Absolutely happy with the care my son receives. Thank you Butterflies.

My 3.5-year-old son has been attending Butterflies since he was nine months old and I have never in all this time had any cause to complain. On the contrary, I have watched him thrive under the wonderful, nurturing care of the staff there who are not only hugely experienced but also the sweetest people.

As a small village nursery, he gets huge amounts of one to one attention and at drop-offs, he races off to see his friends and teachers without barely a look back. I feel so happy knowing that he has so much fun there and that he is with both adults and kids that he adores.

We love using Butterflies for our son, and only wish we'd known about it for our daughter previously. The staff are great, the atmosphere welcoming and the outdoor space outstanding. Our son is excited to arrive in the mornings and happy on pick up. I can't ask for anything more than a happy child. We were excited to find somewhere with space, that was open year-round, accepted babies, but wasn't in central Godalming like so many of the others. A really unique find.

Butterflies is a brilliant nursery. My daughter attended Butterflies from the age of 2 until she went to school and my son, who is nearly 3, has been at Butterflies since he was 11 months old. I have been so happy with the standard of care they have received. It's a small nursery, and so all the staff know all the children really well and are very nurturing in their approach. There are always lots of activities going on. A huge draw for me was the large garden attached to the nursery as well as it's proximity to Thursley common making nature walks etc possible. Communication from the nursery is excellent. Nearly every morning my son asks me if he is going to nursery that day, which just goes to show how happy he is there.

Our two girls have loved Butterflies it's a small family feel place that really supports each child. We have tricky allergies and they have gone out of their way to accommodate this. Really focus on school preparation with sports and a library loan. Staff are friendly and helpful and above all they have fun and lots of outdoor play. Delighted.

My daughter has been at Butterflies since she was 7 months old. She has flourished there and I would thoroughly recommend it to any parent. The outside space is great and the access to the common and local swings makes a big positive impact.

Butterflies and an excellent nursery and I am so glad I found them. My daughter started butterflies when she was 11 months old because I had to go back to work. Before I found butterflies I was nearly ready to hand in my notice as I did not feel I could leave my daughter at any other nurseries I had visited. Butterflies made me feel comfortable leaving my little girl and provided amazing support to me with my transition back to work. All of the permanent staff at the nursery are friendly, caring and welcoming everyday of the week. They staff treat each and every child as an individual and make learning extremely fun. Another thing I really like is the amount of time the children spend outdoors, not only does the nursery itsself have a massive garden that the children can enjoy all year round, the nursery building is situated next to Thursley common so the team take the little ones on woodland adventures and to the local park.
