I couldn't be happier with our experience at this nursery. From the very beginning, the staff have been warm, welcoming, and genuinely caring. It's clear that the children's wellbeing and development are their top priority.
The team creates a nurturing environment where children feel safe, valued,
and encouraged to explore. I seen such positive growth in confidence, communication, and independence since starting here. The activities are creative, engaging, and thoughtfully planned to support learning through play.
Communication with parents is excellent - we're always kept informed. It gives real peace of mind knowing mychild is in such capable hands.
I would highly recommend this nursery to any parent looking for a supportive, stimulating, and caring setting for their child.

It's with a heavy heart that we can see our son's days at Butterflies coming to an end in September, when he heads off to school. He's been there since he was 11 months back in early 2022, and while the first days were the biggest wrench, after seeing how much he enjoys attending, we've never looked
back or regretted sending him in.
The low turnover of staff must have something to do with that, as everyone there genuinely cares for your child and is able to build a relationship with them over time. The separate sleep room where each child has their own cot, the actual green area for them to play in and get mucky, the opportunity to go exploring on the heathland behind (especially at Christmas with the winter wander) and oh so many little things make Butterflies a magical place.
Our lad has thrived there, and been given the confidence to grow in himself, learn new skills, explore, be a child, and all under careful and considerate supervision. It's a great place.

I have two children who attend Butterflies Nursery, and I thoroughly recommend it! My kids are very comfortable and happy there and I feel that it is a very homely and caring setting. In the warmer months the large garden means that the children spend a lot of time playing outside - my older child
has asked me to pick them up as late as possible as they love playing in the garden with their friends. The teachers are caring, and they know the children very well. The team do some lovely activities with the children each week such as baking, arts, playground visits etc. and the events such as sports day, the Christmas performance and the Christmas glow walk on the common really mean that there is a lovely community feel.

Fantastic all round. Our eldest child is just about to leave butterflies, to start school and our youngest still has another two years to go. Over the last couple of years both children have loved every minute of their time at Butterflies. The staff are amazing and it is great to know that our
children are not just being cared for, but are learning at the same time. When we first moved out of London, we didn't have the best of experiences with a nursery in Godalming. There was no stability with the staffing and it all felt very chaotic. Butterflies has been a fantastic change with great leadership and an amazing group of staff, who are kids adore.

My child started Butterflies in October 2024 and has been thriving since!
The staff are so welcoming and kind to myself and my child, he gets so excited to turn up to nursery!
The app allows us to have a peak into his day and what he gets up too, if he's not involved in some sort of messy play,
he's learning his shapes, colours or animals!
I can't thank Butterflies staff enough for giving him love and support throughout his settling and continuing!

Our son has been attending Butterflies for the past 8 months (he started shortly after his first birthday) and we are absolutely thrilled at how he has settled in and continues to thrive in the team's care. They maximise time spent outdoors and have lots of fun activities to keep the little ones
busy. Each child also has a dedicated sleep space and the team are fabulous at keeping track of how long they have slept for, what they've eaten etc. Handovers are always well informed and you get a lovely update with photos, videos and notes at the end of each month. On a more practical note the fees are very reasonable, and the management team are great at keeping you informed with weekly emails on any latest news and upcoming events. Most importantly, all of the staff just seem to genuinely care about the kids and creating a happy environment for them. We are so glad we found Butterflies!

My daughter (now 21 months old) has been attending Butterflies Nursery and Pre School for over a year now and I have nothing other than high praise for Butterflies Nursery. My daughter always comes home with a smile on her face, food on her clothes and dirt under her fingernails; all are signs of a
brilliant day, having fun and learning. The staff work alongside parents to maximise their routines at home and nursery and keep us updated at the end of each day with how they've eaten, slept and behaved. Each month, they upload photos and videos to the app, including breakdowns of their progression through milestones. We fell in love with Butterflies from the first tour of their premises and we haven't regretted it once.

My son has been at Butterflies since he was 11 months old, sadly due to moving house next week is his last week with the wonderful Butterflies team. He absolutely loves every day there, it's a real home-from-home environment and the staff are so incredibly loving and kind. It's a brilliant location
and one of my favourite things is picking him up on a summer afternoon when all the kids are having so much fun in the garden. Thank you Butterflies team, we'll miss you so much!

My daughter has been at Butterflies Nursery and Pre-School since she was aged 1. I was worried about her starting at nursery at first, but the staff at Butterflies couldn’t be better. You can really tell they care about the children and are nice people. They provide a wide variety of activities and
learning opportunities to the children, as well as time outside in the garden. My daughter has noticeably developed since she has been there and has acquired new skills too. I highly recommend this nursery.

My son has been going to this lovely nursery since he was 9 months old and he absolutely loves it there! He has thrived so much during his time at the nursery - he has learned so much in so little time! The staff are absolutely amazing, really caring for the children, and the games and activities
they organise daily for the children are very creative and engaging. It's a beautiful little nursery, with a fantastic outside garden where the children can play and run around. I couldn't recommend it enough!

I have two children at Butterflies Nursery, one in the baby end and one in the big end. Number one son absolutely loves all the time he gets to spend outside and has formed very good relationships with other children as well as the staff. All staff are amazing and really care for the children.
Number two son has settled in very well too, despite only being there a few weeks.

Both our son and daughter attend Butterflies Nursery and Pre School and we are so happy with the standard of care they receive there.
The garden and outside space are amazing, they have a separate sleep space which has been brilliant and the staff are so caring and friendly. We can't recommend
them enough.

I cannot recommend Butterflies enough. The staff are incredible! They are so caring and genuinely invested in every child. My son's development has skyrocketed since we started at Butterflies and he loves going there.

Love the Thursley nursery, my child is super happy there. The staff are lovely, caring and really look after children. He enjoys the big garden and going for walks. He has made some lovely little friends there too.

I couldn't recommend the nursery more highly. Our son has been so happy there. With very low staff turnover, they really get to know each child and form such a close bond with them. And all of the children seem really happy and have good friendships with each other. The days are varied with a large
number of different activities all focused on development. So much time is spent outdoors as well (both in the huge garden and locally) which is a big plus for us. Brief updates are given to parents at pick up each day with photos and videos and developmental summaries etc. added regularly to a portal. They have always listened to any concerns we have had about our son, giving helpful advice. They are also flexible in meeting our needs (including adapting food for allergies). It's not in the snazziest of buildings with brand-new toys etc. but that wasn't important to us - they provide a friendly and safe environment in which the children all seem to flourish.

Butterflies is a warm and nurturing setting with staff who go above and beyond to ensure that children are happy and engaged when in their care. Our daughter struggled with separation following Covid lockdowns and is absolutely thriving. She loves going to nursery, comes back with stories of all of
the fun things they get up to and has built lovely relationships with staff and her peers. They are always outside in their amazing garden and frequently engaged in sensory/messy play and crafts. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Butterflies to anyone looking for a fabulous start for their little one.

Friendly, caring staff and happy children. Butterflies is a nurturing, safe environment which allows children to grow, learn and explore at their own pace. Their correspondence and feedback to parents is excellent.

The staff at Butterflies (particularly the manager, assistant manager and day-to-day staff) are excellent. Our daughter has been attending since August 2021. She settled into the little end well, and her transition to the big end this summer was seamless. The nursery has a homely, warm, welcoming
feel to it. Staff are friendly, reassuring, knowledgeable and dedicated. The nursery benefits from wonderful outdoor space - the garden, local park and common are all excellent and provide fantastic opportunities for the children. My daughter's development is excellent - we are continually impressed with how she's progressing and are convinced this is a result of the environment and staff there. As parents, we are kept informed of any challenges and successes our child faces. We receive weekly communication regarding the nursery more generally, and regular updates on the app about what our child has been up to; her development etc. We are very happy and recommend Butterflies wholeheartedly.

Both my daughters have loved Butterflies. Daughter number 1 is now at school and has settled in well after being prepared by the team. She was happy and excited about starting big school and a visit from the staff in her reception class to check she is getting on well, which was lovely for her and
reassuring for us. Number 2 is still in the baby end of nursery and has been made so welcome since starting at 6 months old, she positively throws herself at the staff when they open the door desperate to come in and see what's going on. I have complete confidence that she is safe, well cared for and having a lovely time.

We have three children at Butterflies. They are all celebrated and cared for as individuals and have thrived at the nursery. We chose the nursery for the fabulous outside space, which our children always talk about. They go out year-round and explore the local commons too. The staff are fabulous,
down to earth, kind and generous. Our children mostly arrive home covered in paint, gems and glitter - all signs of a good day in our opinion.
