Bright Horizons Reigate Holmesdale Road Day Nursery and Preschool provides high-quality care and education for children aged 3 months to 5 years. The nursery itself is easily accessible from the train station and town centre and five minutes from the M25.

The atmosphere is warm, fun and caring and creativity is key at the nursery with many original activities on-going for all age groups. Each child is allocated a key worker to focus on developing the child’s individual learning plan. Children are encouraged to cut their own fruit and snacks to give them confidence.

The garden is a nice and big open space for children to use the varied activities for physical stimulation and to make use of the outdoor space for developing social and communication skills. The rooms are set up with varied learning activities to stimulate learning, with the latest technology being used to develop literacy and numeracy. The early years foundation curriculum is followed throughout the age groups. An enriching Ready for School programme gives every child the opportunity to gain knowledge and confidence to thrive in school and beyond. The nursery also benefits from a dedicated children's kitchen and a parent room.

We feel very fortunate to send our child to this nursery, having sent our eldest children here too. The staff are kind and caring and always take the time to discuss your child and ensure they are up to speed on their requirements. The team have always created a homely environment and we have loved
seeing our children develop at the nursery, ensuring they were well-prepared for school. It really is the staff that makes the nursery, and they are such a warm and supportive team. Thank you!

My daughter, like her older brother who previously attended the same nursery, has thrived under the supervision and care of the team at the Reigate Holmesdale Road Nursery. She is stimulated through a wide variety of activities, which have helped develop her fine motor and social skills as well as her
talking and independence. The communication from the nursery, even during the unusual times that Covid-19 has brought, has been excellent and we are provided with a daily report, photos and lots of arts and crafts! I am very pleased that she has access to a soft play, sensory toys, music lessons and other age-appropriate indoor and outdoor toys given there are limited places I can take her at the moment (due to Covid-19). High recommend.

Have used the nursery for 7 years and find all the staff fabulous and all children enjoy their time there. The car park spaces need remarking as it is a safety risk when you need to get children to stand in the car park so you can get into the space as you cannot always open car doors.

Positive experience so far. My son enjoys coming to nursery every day and the staff have been really attentive with regards to my son's egg allergy. Which has been a big concern for us. He plays with all the toys and interacts well with the other kids and staff. His speech has also come along well in

My experience since August 2019 has been very positive. My son has shown real signs of development since joining which is great as he is only at nursery for 2 days a week. So far, I am very happy. It would be great to get more photos of what my son does throughout his time at nursery.

Great nursery with friendly, caring, helpful staff. My son loves coming. It took him a few weeks to be happy staying and they were so kind and patient with him. He has wonderful friends. He loves the activities especially cooking in the excellent low-level kitchen facilities.

Job Title: Nursery Manager

Jess has been working with children since 2012, after completing her NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and a Level 2 qualification in Understanding Autism.


Over the years, she has built up a wealth of experience — starting out as an Early Years Practitioner and now proudly leading the team as Nursery Manager. She is passionate about supporting children through their early years. She finds great joy in watching each child grow in confidence, reach their milestones, and explore the world around them in their own unique way. No two days are ever the same, and every child brings something special to the nursery.


She is equally committed to supporting her team, helping each member develop their skills, follow their interests, and achieve their goals — both personally and professionally.

I started working in childcare in 2013 and I gained my Level 3 NVQ as an Early Years Educator, within 7 years I progressed from a Room leader to fill the role of Deputy Manager. In my childcare career so far, I have gained a Level 2 in Understanding Autism and a Level 2 in Understanding Children and Young People’s Mental Health.


My family and friends all ask what it is like working with children and I always have the same answer- I love it and have such a passion for what I do. It’s so rewarding knowing that I’m setting the foundation and making an impact towards a little person’s future.


I like to think that as a Deputy Manager, I motivate and support my team to the best of my ability and encourage them to excel in all they do.
