Our daughter began attending Wolfson Day Nursery as a two-year-old, and our son as a one-year-old. They absolutely love it (and no longer even bother saying goodbye at the door). The staff are incredibly experienced, including paediatric first aid training, and welcoming. It feels more like a family than a nursery, and they tailor their approaches and advice to each individual child. For example, one of our kids struggles with certain pronunciations and has some anxiety around toileting. They have worked with us on a plan to tackle both challenges in and outside of nursery to give the child consistent messaging. They keep track of our children's progress and learning, and flag anything that may come up in a gentle and constructive way. The staff take the kids on lovely and active outings, and parents get daily updates, photos, and individual observations. We're so grateful to have found such an excellent and nurturing nursery in the heart of the city!

Our son joined Wolfson Nursery in January 2021 as a one-year-old and has flourished with the exemplary care, love, and education offered there. The excellent staff keep us regularly updated, provide engaging and fun learning and play activities and make the nursery a really enjoyable place. We didn't hesitate to send our daughter there when she turned one, and she loves it too.

My son started at Wolfson Day Nursery when he was 8 months old, the team were very helpful and supportive in getting him settled. He loves going to nursery, and very quickly he went from crying when we left to walking off without saying bye or hugging us. We both love seeing his daily activities & the fun times he is having in the nursery with photos & updates of when and what he eats throughout the day.

The staff also caters to each child and what they need for the day which helps us feel more at ease knowing that he will get the care that he needs especially with all the constant developmental changes that they go through.

Overall we would recommend Wolfson Day Nursery, the staff are very kind and lovely plus the facilities are great for the children.

My son and daughter both started at Wolfson Nursery in early 2021, we choose the nursery because of all the green space and how small and intimate it seemed. We have never regretted our decision. Our son graduated and is now at a great school that he loves and it is all thanks to Wolfson. He loved his time there and was always eager to go. My daughter is still there and every morning she is eager to attend and always comes back happy. We are extremely pleased with their nursery experience!

We chose Wolfson College Day Nursery when our son was ten months because of the many green spaces and play space offered to the children. Within the college ground, they have the use of a covered play garden, a playground, the college sports fields, an allotment for the nursery, several college gardens, and many more spaces to explore. We love the fact that the children are often outside and are able to discover nature (including ducks, herons, squirrels...) in a safe environment.
Over the past two and a half years of our son attending Wolfson nursery, the place has felt like an extended family, where staff genuinely care for the children and parents are considered close partners whose opinions are listened to. Children are encouraged to ask questions and communicate, and the staff plan activities around what their current interests are. Our son is always happy to attend and loves his nursery.

I would recommend Wolfson nursery to any parent I meet.

Our son (aged 3) and daughter (aged 18mo) attended Wolfson Day Nursery from Summer 2020.

I would highly recommend this established daycare provision. The nursery is well managed and the staff are very caring. It is a small setting with a family atmosphere. The nursery is set in the college grounds so there are plenty of green spaces for the children to enjoy including a small playground. There is a relaxed emphasis on learning through play and the children enjoy a variety of activities. Feedback for parents is provided via the online tool, which provides a great insight into the daily care routine. Our children loved their time at Wolfson!

Our daughter has been at Wolfson since she was 11 months old and has loved it from day one. I think this is largely due to the friendly, inclusive and relaxed atmosphere created by all the staff. She has formed a particularly strong bond with her key person, but the relatively small number of children means that all the staff seem to genuinely know and care about her. The nursery just seems completely child-centred, which is all we could have asked for. It is lovely that the children get to play outdoors so much and are frequently taken to explore the college grounds, to see the ducks, play on the playground or visit the allotment. They always seem to be doing new activities, whether it be painting, playing in sand or water, or learning about a festival or event, through themed play. Our daughter has really developed in confidence since she started at nursery and we have been really impressed by how the staff have tailored activities to help her develop, whatever she is focussed on.

My now three-year-old daughter has attended the Wolfson College Nursery since she was 8 months old, and I can thoroughly recommend this nursery. I am particularly impressed with the nursery staff, who collectively create a warm, caring, and fun atmosphere. Thanks to the relatively small number of children and a key worker system, the staff is very attuned to each child's character and needs, and build strong relationships with the children. My daughter's key worker, in particular, is an important and much-loved figure in her life. The nursery is attended by many international children (often of academic parents) and the nursery does a fantastic job in celebrating this diversity (e.g. talking about the different languages spoken by the children, celebrating various holidays). My own daughter has grown up bilingually and has primarily learned English at the nursery. The nursery space itself is relatively small, but the children have access to the vast and beautiful college grounds.

Our daughter absolutely adores going to Wolfson College Nursery. We actually increased the number of days a week she goes there because she enjoys it so much. The staff are brilliant, very attentive and caring. They keep the children busy with lots of fun games and plenty of time spent outside, when possible. We get a rundown of the day when we pick her up, which is lovely and means that we can incorporate some of her favourite activities at home as well. We’ve also appreciated the staff sensitivity to our worries as first-time parents; they made a conscious effort to keep us informed about any developments in the areas we were worried about. We also have a regular meeting where we can discuss our daughter’s progress and development.

I thoroughly recommend Wolfson College nursery. My children started around the age of 8 months, and although each has a very different personality both have thrived there. The small scale and child-led approach have, I believe, led them as individuals to develop more in their own timing, nurtured by very warm, genuinely caring and friendly staff. And while the inside space may not be the largest, the contents are thoughtfully configured (internal arrangements regularly revised) and the willingness to get outdoors into the extensive college grounds, whatever the weather, is very much appreciated. The introduction of ‘free flow’ periods during the day has also been very positive as far as my two are concerned. Finally, it’s worth adding that as such a longstanding part of the college, the nursery has, I think, helped give my children the sense of being integrated into a wider, vibrant and dynamic community, as well as confidence when encountering people of different ages and backgrounds.

The nursery staff are exceptional with the children; patient, affectionate and attentive. They always put a smile on my face at drop off and pick up and I feel assured my son is being taken great care of.

The nursery benefits from excellent space, both outside (the grounds to the college) and its indoor facilities.

The Wolfson College Day Nursery is a small and friendly space. Its particular strength is the excellent team that really cares for the children. Because it is so small, the kids know each other and many also live next door in the College. While the facilities might be a bit small, Wolfson features wonderful outdoor spaces, extensive gardens, a playground, meadows and a sports field which the nursery uses besides their 'muddy garden'. My son is very happy there and I know he's in good hands.

My son started at Wolfson Day Nursery when he was nine-months-old. All the team were very helpful and supportive in getting him settled, and they were also very patient with me!
My son has his own key worker and she seems very caring. The whole team help out and do different things and are all very friendly.
The day is structured well with slots for play, lunch, sleep etc, which helps break up such a long day for young children.
The staff are very engaged with the children, and they seem to have good staff structure and support that ensures they all get a break and help when needed.
The nursery always appears to be a very happy and a calm place, with great play spaces, facilities and activities for the children.
Great communication from the key worker at the end of the day, how he was, sleep times, meals, milestones etc.

Overall, they are all very supportive, helpful and kind.

Wolfson Nursery is a wonderful place for your child to spend his/her days. My son has been attending the nursery since he was six-months-old, and he loves it. With the child-centred approach and the unconditional love of the staff, he is happy, learn new things and develop new skills. The children have the freedom to run around, explore and be themselves.
The Wolfson College grounds is a green area you wouldn't find anywhere else and offers endless opportunities for exploration and physical activity.
To top it all; the nursery staff are friendly, approachable and always happy to discuss and give personal advice.

I would highly recommend the Wolfson Nursery to anyone.

My son loves going to nursery and has done since he started at Wolfson. He started when he was 9.5 months for two days and went up to three days recently. Out of all of my friend's experience in nurseries, this one is the best. It is like a family and his key worker really cares for him and is as happy as us when he meets milestones. There is great communication with parents and as he has made some great friends. The facilities are great too and they let them have free play with access to the outside garden. They also can access the college grounds and have good food provided. I would recommend this nursery to everyone. The staff are much more engaged than other nurseries we visited and they don't look too tired after a day with the children.

Our son is always excited to go to school, always. What I have been particularly struck with in the last month, is how responsive the teachers are to the interests of individual students. For example, our son has been interested in the solar system since before Christmas, and this is now a focal point area in one of the rooms. This made him feel pretty awesome. I love this responsiveness to and total engagement with each kid. The feeling in school is always fun and dynamic. I also love that the staff are organising trips, such as the one to the museum and to the Theatre. I realise how much additional hard work this must be, but it's amazing for the kids and they seem to get so much out of it. Thank you!

I'm really happy with the nursery! All staff are professional and kind. They really take good care about my daughter. I love the trips they make with the kids and also the plays and activities. My daughter learns many things every day. When she went to the nursery for the first weeks she cried a lot because we have been moving from another country that she missed so much. But now she doesn't want to miss a day in the nursery! I'm so glad! Thanks for everything!
