The Wantage Nursery & Preschool provides a warm happy and homely environment where the top priority is to have safe contented children. The nursery team believes the service should be about making friends and learning through play in a home from home with kind and caring adults for support.

The nursery has excellent facilities indoors and is particularly proud of othe big outdoors space which has specifically been designed with very small children in mind. Staff place great emphasis on spending lots of time outside in the fresh air and use both the indoors and outdoors to deliver all areas of the early years curriculum to a high standard.

The team constantly strives to give children memorable experiences with exciting opportunities to learn through play that they might not always be able to do at home and of course give them the opportunity to make some of their first friends.

We're really happy with the nursery and have been impressed by recent improvements. Feels more professional. Our daughter is really happy here and we're content that her development is being nurtured.

My daughter is exceeding in every way and educationally all due to the nursery and the lovely staff. The nursery has made lots of new and exciting wall displays in and out of the nursery garden, which has been a pleasure to look at and a nice environment for the children. My daughter has made lots of
friends with her peers and my daughter really loves all of the staff and looks forward to nursery, like her little family.

My grandson has only been at the nursery for a short time, but he gets so excited as we pull into the carpark. The staff throughout the nursery welcome him as if he was their own when I drop him off and leaving him with a smile on his face shows how happy he is there. He has settled in extremely well
and has already made friendships with other children in his room. There are plenty of toys to keep him entertained and help him learn new things. From reading his daily diary he enjoys the food, which sounds very appealing. The nursery is bright and colourful and very well laid out. I was surprised with the size of it and the garden area is a pleasant surprise.

Our child came from a settled position in another nursery. The staff at Wantage gave him the time and patience he needed to feel settled again. This has shown as his development has moved on significantly. I also feel this is due to the better staff ratios, allowing more time for useful interactions.
I enjoy that Wantage encourages outdoor play as much as possible.

Our daughter has really enjoyed her experience at the nursery. She has a range of activities to keep her occupied. Her carers have a really good understanding of her developments and really look after her.
After struggling to eat at first she now enjoys her food and the range is broad and inviting.

There are two ladies that are fantasic, friendly and caring women. I couldn't feel anymore happy and reassured to leave my son knowing that the level of care is so high. My son loves them both like they are his family and is always happy to see them.

Our experience is that our son arrives and departs extremely happy.
There are so many different sensory experiences in the room for him to play with and the staff treat him like their own.
He adores them quite obviously as he is not normally a very sociable baby.
I wouldn't choose anywhere else for
my child to enjoy himself, get messy and have a truly great experience outside of his home life.

My son has been happily cared for by the wonderful staff for nearly 4 years.
The care, kindness and commitment of the staff has been amazing.
They have helped my son start big school as a confident, happy boy who has already learnt so much and is ready and excited to learn more.

My son thrived at The Wantage Nursery and Preschool, bringing out his softer side, sharing and being more considerate. The staff have been excellent in both early years foundation education, his care and social development.
What is more, he's had fun, lots of fun with food, mud, paint, cardboard, mud
and more mud.
