The Wantage Nursery & Preschool

We are very happy with Wantage Nursery and preschool. They always put the children and the families first and all the staff are lovely and caring. My son is very happy there and we have seen a significant improvement in his development since he started. They have a wonderful outdoor area which my son loves and a great menu. We would highly recommend and would gladly use them again for any future children.

My son joined the nursery at 5 months and is now almost 1 and loves coming to nursery. He is always so happy when I drop him off and his development has come along so much since joining. Handovers are always detailed and personal and I can't thank the girls enough for all that they do.

My son is having the best time at nursery and this is down to all the staff. By doing lots of play and creative tasks, I can see the fun my son is having and his development is growing.

Our daughter has been in Poppets for a couple of months and we couldn't be happier. Our daughter is loving it here. You can tell that she really likes all of her carers and has fun.

The Wantage Nursery & Preschool have good communication and my child is very happy here. I can see what he gets up to each day in his diary and the staff also give a good handover at pick up. My child has clearly developed since being here.

The Wantage Nursery and Preschool staff are wonderful. From the very first settling-in sessions, they have been great. They were able to put my mind at ease when we first started and are always able to offer advice and guidance. I really value their suggestions of things we can try at home, all the lovely feedback about how our son’s getting on and what exciting activities they’ve been up to. I am so glad that we made the decision to go here, honestly couldn’t have wished for a better setting.

Our experience with Wantage Preschool has been nothing but great. Friendly faces and our son is always happy to arrive from the start they have always been keen to understand his personality and cater to his needs - very reassuring as a parent.

My son has been in The Wantage Nursery & Preschool for part of 2 years now and I couldn't be more happy and thankful that I made the decision to choose this preschool. Over these years he developed a very remarkable bond with the teachers, staff and his peers. He is always excited to go to preschool. My son struggled with delay in his development and being non verbal. As he is unable to tell me about his day, everyday teachers are giving me updates with my sons development, learning and activities with the daily journal. I'm looking forward to making more memories with this preschool until my son is ready for the big kid school! I recommend from all my heart!

Everyone at the nursery are very friendly and I feel very happy to leave my child with them. He has learnt a lot since coming here.

Our first child joined the nursery in November 2022 so 1 year exactly. I was a bit worried at the beginning but over the time I could see how well the team is looking after my daughter. The manager and all the carers were equally nice, caring and they always seemed to know everything about my daughter and about her day. She absolutely loves being in there, she walks to the door now and waves goodbye to us with a huge smile. I feel confident leaving her there under the team supervision. She has the best sleeps and eats well in the nursery.

The staff are very friendly and help a lot with my son's potty training. Both kids go into the nursery happy to see everyone. Always helpful when I call for anything and very good with safeguarding concerns. It makes me feel at ease. Both kids love the activities.

Our experience with The Wantage Nursery has been a pleasure from the start. The admin staff were fantastic and gave me all the information I requested to get out daughter signed up and helped me through the GOV UK processes to get our 30 free hours. The nursery staff are just brilliant! All are so kind and caring and seem to really enjoy knowing each and every child's specific needs. We always get a detailed debrief when we come to collect our daughter. Wouldn't send her anywhere else!
