The Old Station Nursery Henley

Our daughter has been attending The Old Station Nursery Henley for 3-years. The team are caring and have been wonderful. Our daughter loves going to nursery, and we have recommended the nursery to other parents who have also been very happy.

My daughter has been going to The Old Station Nursery, Henley and has been really happy. The staff are friendly and there are lots of activities to do, with different sensory play inside and outdoors. Highly recommend.

The Old Station Nursery, Henley is the best choice we have made for our boys. The staff at the nursery are absolutely amazing. We chose the nursery as we loved how they had so much outside space. It doesn’t matter what the weather is; they let the kids get dirty and just have fun outside by jumping in muddy puddles or making snow angels. We also love that the offer Forrest school. They are always happy and friendly at the nursery, and I would highly recommend them. We love The Old Station Nursery.

We've had our children here since 2015 and cannot fault the commitment of the staff or the care given to our children. The manager is always accommodating where possible of requests we make, and the children love going there.

The Old Station Nursery has always been very helpful and considerate in accomodating our needs, as well as our son's. The staff are very friendly and show great care for their children. My son always came out of the nursery with a smile and is always looking forward to going back to do some exciting activities, play with his friends and learn new things. I highly recommend it to anyone and will be putting my yet to be born son in there without a doubt. Thank you so much for your contribution to his life.

I am so happy we made the decision to send our daughter to The Old Station Nursery. From the day I viewed the nursery when my daughter was 6-weeks-old, I knew it was the right place for her. The staff took the time to show us around and answer any queries we had. My daughter started nursery in July 2020 when she turned 1, and it has been the best experience for her. She tells me all about her new friends, and I just know she has a wonderful time. We love getting the daily updates and seeing photos of her day. The food menu is also incredible! Very nutritious, homemade food - my daughter usually always has second helpings! Emails are responded to quickly. I also love that they have a forest garden and spend a lot of time outside with the children. So grateful they have remained open during the pandemic so the children can continue to have that oh so important socialisation with the other children. Will definitely recommend it to families!

A very well run nursery, which has great facilities both indoors and out. The staff and management team are very friendly and approachable. We’ve always had good communications with nursery and head office issues, events and especially provisions made for COVID. Our little boy has been here since he was one and now has six months to go before primary school. It’ll be a sad last day for us all when he says goodbye to his friends and all the staff.

My daughter started in summer 2020 just after she turned 1, so our whole experience has been throughout the pandemic. I can not praise them enough for the care and attention they offer my child. I appreciate all the staff here and everything they are risking day in and day out to come to work. They have taken every precaution to ensure everyone feels safe. Communication is excellent, all emails are responded to extremely quickly. The daily updates on the app are always a highlight and it is so obvious to see the fun she is having. I love how much time she spends exploring outdoors, always finding new activities to engage in. I have to give a special mention to my daughter's key carer and I am so appreciative of how much easier she has made this transition. She is always so bubbly and warm and has a genuine regard for the children in her care. All the team in Caterpillars go above and beyond! Being able to attend nursery has been invaluable for her socially throughout lockdown!

The Old Station Nursery in Henley is outstanding. My daughter attends pre-school there and she loves it. The curriculum allows her to do lots of imaginative play, creative activity including painting and drawing, reading books, learning social skills and having a wonderful time with her friends. The Forest School also enables her to spend a large portion of her time outdoors exploring nature and gaining new experiences with her friends. The staff are amazing. They are caring, considerate, creative and fun, and have a great bond with the kids. They also send daily updates with photos through their app which gives you a great overview of your child's day. My daughter loves going to nursery. I cannot recommend The Old Station Nursery in Henley enough.

Oh, and of course, have to mention the foresty surroundings! Top marks.

Our twins have thrived since joining the PreSchool room and absolutely adore their key carer and the imaginative activities which the team work so hard to prepare. Forest School, Yoga, Science experiments, Singing, Arts and more ... the children come home with so many stories to tell, and the staff take the time to capture pictures of some wonderful moments to help parents feel connected to their children’s learning. Could not recommend more highly!

The facility has plenty of outside space and an amazing forest school.

My daughter has been attending the old station nursery since she was one year old (now 30months) and I would recommend it very highly. The staff have always managed to make me feel very relaxed about leaving her in their care. They are caring, competent and fun people who genuinely care for the children who attend. My daughter always seems to have a great time while she is there whether in the garden or giant sand pit or enjoying messy play, crafts or the mud kitchen. The extra yoga lessons also seemed to have helped her developing physical skills and coordination greatly.

A great nursery.

The main thing for me is they have a lot of variety, quite a few external people coming in (eg. Spanish, yoga, music) and Forest School. The fact they have a lot of outside space is great. The staff are great and there is not much staff turnover.

The Old Station Nursery provides a fun, relaxed and caring environment for our 2 year old daughter. The staff are bright and operate on a common sense basis rather than by procedure and process only. The litmus test for me is that I never worry whether my daughter will have a good day - I know she will and that gives me great peace of mind.

Also, the flexibility has been extremely useful for us when we were going through a difficult family situation.

So very pleased with the nursery. All the staff are so kind and seem to genuinely care about the children. We are kept well informed of all goings on and they have lots of activities for the children.

My daughter loves going to nursery, she will (aged 19 months now) want to walk from the car to meet her carers and I have never once doubted, that she is being fully cared for and attended to. Nursery staff are easy to talk with and listen well and keen to give you an update of the day at pick up time. Great outdoor space that the staff use well - children go outside whenever possible - this is important to me.
