The Old Station Nursery Henley

Our son clearly loves his time at Nursery. I could not be happier with the care he is receiving. The team also dealt magnificently with the recent extreme heat - It was the greatest relief that he was with them over those days.

I love this nursery and the team who run it. Both my kids have really enjoyed and are still enjoying their time there. The staff are caring, kind and so much fun to be around. I honestly can’t fault it. The location is great with a huge garden area and forest school and parking onsite for parents is always a bonus.

Old Station Henley has excellent facilities, inside and out, caring staff and lots of activities on offer. The only area for improvement is the menu which relies heavily on sandwiches/pittas for afternoon tea, but hot lunches sound so good I wish I could stay too!

Excellent nursery. Great staff. Very good at communicating with parents. Easy to get hold of the nursery. Our daughter’s development has been very impressive and we couldn’t be happier with our choice. Thank you to all the team.

Welcoming staff, good facilities for children with a lot of outside space and activities. A varied range of activities focussing on different development skills. Wholesome food is provided daily. Attention to detail on safeguarding and good communication when children are unwell.

I have two children at the Old Station and they both love it. The setting is wonderful and I particularly love their forest school trips. Most importantly though, the staff make such an effort in their relationships with my two. My 3-year-old chatters away about her friends and the staff that she likes so much My almost 2-year-old runs in to meet his key carer. They are also very responsive to questions or any concerns so I have complete peace of mind that my kids are in good hands. My ratings on cleanliness and resources are based on what I remember the inside being like pre-pandemic, as parents have not been allowed into the nursery during the pandemic.

A wonderful nursery. My son has attended for 18 months, sadly I am having to move him to a closer nursery as this one is an hour and a half walk from my house and as the bus times have changed and health problems have arisen, it’s too difficult to get him there, as I don’t drive. But I thank you for looking after him so well and highly recommend this nursery. A particular thank you to the staff from Butterflies and Caterpillars. We will miss you.

The staff go above and beyond and my son has developed so much, I couldn't ask for a better place for him to spend his time. The staff truly care about the children. They have navigated the pandemic amazingly well and I'm glad to be sending my second child there in a few months.

Our daughter loves going to nursery and we can see from the daily updates that she has lots of fun. She has developed so much since starting nursery and made some lovely friends. The staff are friendly and experienced. We know our daughter is in safe hands when at nursery.

Our son has been so happy at Old Station Nursery from the beginning. The staff clearly care about each child and have a nurturing and caring approach. Our son loves exploring the outdoor space where there is lots of stuff for him to play with. The meals are varied and they do lots of different activities with them each day.

A super nursery with excellent care and education. A fantastic setting in the countryside where kids can learn and play with each other very easily. Thank you for the great work Old Station. Our children’s development is something we are very pleased with and hope to continue to grow.

Our daughter has been very happy since starting at The Old Station and is always eager to go. The children appear to have many activities to keep them busy and challenged throughout the day with good variety. She especially enjoys the trips out to their Forest school and their other outdoor activities. The staff are always happy to help and keep us updated on her development on a weekly basis through their online app, which is easy to access. She has made many friends and is very fond of the staff members. The only challenge we have experienced with The Old Station is their incredibly long waiting list for the younger age group, which is a credit to their popularity, but means that one has to apply very early on to secure a place. Apart from that, we highly recommend The Old Station and are very happy to have found it!

They spend a lot of time outdoors, which is great and seem to meet the needs of the younger ones well.

Our son is extremely happy at The Old Station Nursery, Henley and is developing so well. He has so many different activities to do and spends the majority of his time outdoors which is what we wanted for him. He enjoys the food and sleeps well and has made friends which is so lovely for us to see via the app each day. It’s such a relief to know he enjoys his day when we drop him off each morning.

Old Station Nursery is simply excellent. My son is well known by all relevant staff and he enjoys a wide variety of activities every day, much of which are based outside come rain or shine. Communication is easy. The app is simple to use and staff responds to emails and phone calls promptly. The bottom line is that my son emerges from every day at nursery with a huge smile and lots to say about his day.

The Old Station Nursery have been absolutely fantastic with my two little girls! It's been the perfect place for them to grow and develop in their early years. Nurturing staff, regular updates on progress and development, a supportive environment, and lots of artwork to fill our walls!

It is hard to know as we drop off at the gate due to covid but my child seems as happy as he can reasonably be at this young age. Not sure about IT, learning or cleanliness but my child seems happy playing with toys whilst at nursery. The keyworker is excellent at handover.

Our daughter loves attending this nursery and she had developed so much since she started in February. The staff are great and we have only had a good experience of the nursery to date. We are very pleased that our daughter enjoys the nursery and this is down to the friendly and welcoming nature of the staff.

Our little boy, having been brought up in the pandemic has been glued to us, usually in our arms. He had very little interaction with other adults and even less with other children. His naps were a nightmare for us, he simply refused to go into his cot during the day. We, therefore, had concerns about how he would adapt, how he (and we) would cope with being apart. We needn't have worried as whilst his first settling in session without us was filled with tears (all of ours) and screams (his), he now loves going to nursery.

The growth in confidence is huge, his development is startling, and things like eating and drinking are brilliant, he even naps! He literally bounces around after nursery, clearly exceptionally happy.

The staff are wonderful, the selection of food great, and the activities we read and see in the daily updates are lovely to read.

Our lockdown baby is very social and so very happy, thanks in large part to The Old Station!

One of the reasons we chose The Old Station was their commitment to ensuring the little ones had as much time outside as possible. I love to see the photos every day with my son’s cheeks rosy from all that time outside in the fresh air.

The staff are all approachable, and they do lots of different activities with the kids to make sure they are learning while having fun. They listen to us when we have some specific requirements or our son is leaping towards a new milestone, which I really appreciate. And, they are always happy to answer a question I have, which is helpful as I’m a first-time mum.
