My 3-year-old has been attending Sparkling Minds for just over a year and has loved it from day one.
The site, the facilities, the staff - all brilliant.

We are continuing to improve the site and facilities according to the developmental needs and interests of the children. Hopefully, it is evident to families that we are also supporting our amazing team with relevant training to help their enthusiasm for creative practice.
We will be sad when your little one moves on to big school, but we will ensure he is ready practically and emotionally.

I cannot speak more highly of Sparkling Minds. After such a long period without much interaction with others due to lockdown, my son started around 11-months-old, and I was so unsure how he would get on. The staff are all amazing, great at putting us parents at ease, but also all clearly love their job and treat the little ones with the most love and care. I have never doubted my decision to send him.
He is absolutely flourishing from his time at nursery, and this is a credit to all the amazing activities that are set up each day - lots of time in the garden and him being made to feel at home!

I love that you feel your little one is flourishing with us! The team work hard to accommodate individual needs and interests, and having recognition for this really will remind them of how important it is for happiness and development. Garden time is always popular and with preparation for further garden development beginning today (and our Senior Lead Practitioner starting her Forest School Training in a few weeks), outdoor learning can only get better! We can't wait to see the little ones exploring when it's been revamped.Thank you.

Sparkling Minds is a truly special place. My daughter has been at the nursery since she was one up until this September before going to school.
The staff are so nurturing with the children and genuinely care about them. They are welcoming to the parents too, and made myself and my husband feel very included. Through the nurturing nature of the nursery, I feel my daughter has thrived and grown. The learning is natural and fun, and they are led by the children's interests in play.
The staff are so nurturing with the children and genuinely care about them. They are welcoming to the parents too, and made myself and my husband feel very included. Through the nurturing nature of the nursery, I feel my daughter has thrived and grown. The learning is natural and fun, and they are led by the children's interests in play.
The office staff, owners and management are also great and want to make a difference, and think about innovative ways to keep on effect change, for example, meetings individually to think about the transition to school with lots of helpful, thoughtful ideas for us to help with.

We have been using Sparkling Minds since January 2018, when we dropped off our 11-month-old. Words can not honestly express how positive our experience has been in this setting. Our daughter has thrived, gained so much curiosity and has built strong relationships with the staff and her peers. All the staff are absolutely fantastic and truly engage with the children and learn about them all as individuals.
Drop off and collections are always a pleasure - and nothing ever seems too much of a problem.
We have been at the nursery through the change of ownership, and again, we have had nothing but a positive experience, and the nursery is going strength to strength. The new owners are very present, and the emphasis on child-led and staff wellbeing is excellent.
Sparkling Minds has become a trusted part of our family, which we will be forever grateful for.

My daughter has been coming to this nursery since she was 10-months-old and has left today after 3-years to go to school! We cannot recommend this nursery highly enough, all the staff are so warm and cannot do enough for the children, it feels like a real family environment and my daughter has always been so happy here, I also feel the staff have really helped with her development. The owners are lovely, very present at the nursery and are putting so much into making it the lovely nursery it is, as well as the fantastic manager. My son will be starting the nursery next year, and I’m sure he will be as happy as my daughter has been! Thank you, Sparkling Minds.

Incredible setting with absolutely lovely staff. My daughter was thrilled with her experience, and she would always be eager to start each day. Can't recommend it enough! They take great care with the children. An amazing start to our daughters learning journey.

My son flourished in his 3 1/2 years here. The staff were all amazing; they really were like an extension to the family. An educational environment that puts the needs of the child first with a caring, supportive ethos. An ability to adapt to all circumstances - highlighted by their response to the last 18-months during the global pandemic. We are so grateful for your positive review. The children will always come first and our four core values will remain at the heart of all that we do. The past 18 months have been extremely difficult for all of our families and staff, so to hear that the hard work and dedication of the team has been seen as flexible and supportive has filled me with pride - I shall share this with the whole team.School Readiness is a new focus, and hopefully, being able to meet with you and discuss expectations for school and how to support your son has helped to prepare him (and you) for the exciting time ahead. Many years as a reception teacher certainly raises awareness of possible anxiety and uncertainty for the transition.

My daughter goes to the nursery and absolutely loves it. She is in Starlight room (pre-school) and has only been there since we moved down in February, but she settled in straight away thanks to the lovely caring staff. The staff are amazing with her, and she absolutely adores them. I love how the manager everyday interacts with all the different rooms and gets to know the children; my daughter talks about her often.
I think she has come on so much since she has been here; people often think she is older than she actually is.

We are so pleased she settled in so well and that the care of the team is recognised. I feel it's important (as the owner and a practitioner) to be on-site as much as possible and interact with all staff and children. We cannot make promises to families and make statements on our website about values and practice unless I can see for myself that we are indeed delivering. Being a Welsh chatterbox myself, it's hard not to be engaged with the children. I love to hear about their weekend news and be invited into their play. I know all of the Management and Leadership team appreciate the value of visiting each room throughout the week (COVID SAFE of course) and chatting with as many children as possible. That level of personal interaction and confidence just proves how secure the children are in our environment.We will be investing in more ICT resources over the year but our first priority is a further development of the outdoor environment. Busy builders are the delay. Exciting times!

I would really recommend anyone considering bringing their child to Sparkling Minds. We are relatively new to the nursery but have been extremely impressed with how settled our son has been, and his bond with his key worker is really lovely to see. We love the interaction via the app, and it's great to be able to see what he's been up to as well as get key updates on feeds, bottles and sleep. A really great nursery!

Wow! Thank you so much for the lovely feedback. The App is new since our take over in December, and the positive comments prove it to be a successful addition. Communication between us and parents is key for a positive parent partnership. I remember how difficult it was to leave my own children at nursery (many years ago), and so to know that you feel so secure in your choice of nursery has reminded me of why we work so hard as a team to constantly reflect and review our setting. We hope you continue to feel confident with our provision as you move from Sunbeam, onto to Rainbow and then Starlight room. Thank you again for your kind words. It's important that other families hear from parents and carers before making an informed choice about a nursery.

My son absolutely loved going to the nursery and the staff were all fantastic with him. They're so caring and welcoming and I trusted them 100% with looking him. They couldn't do enough for him during his time with them, nothing was ever too much trouble and he blossomed so much during his time there. I would strongly recommended this nursery to anybody looking for somewhere safe, nurturing and fun!
