Sparkling Minds has a team of well-qualified staff who provide high-quality care and education. They employ passionate and enthusiastic staff to nurture the children in their care.

Situated in farmland yet readily accessible from Kidlington and Bicester, the location has allowed the development of a Forest School area and separate large (age specific) outdoor areas. The building is light and bright, whilst the learning environment is divided into 3 age group rooms - each being calm and inviting, allowing children to feel safe and secure.

The experienced and passionate team form trusting relationships with families and in particular with their key children. Children are encouraged to take age-appropriate risks in their learning and staff model how to ask questions to develop curious minds.

The website offers information and support for families and carers, with a specific Parent Partnership section full of relevant links and advice around child health and development. The Electronic App allows secure access for the shared Learning Journal and updates on what the children have experienced.

Food is prepared by the Nursery Cook, on site in the 5 star food-hygiene rated kitchen. The Nursery provides Breakfast, Lunch and Tea, alongside fresh fruit, morning and afternoon snacks and drinks.

We were so fortunate to find Sparkling Minds Nursery for our daughter. The facility and staff are fantastic! Our daughter loves the various activities. The staff have been supportive of her development and met her where she is.

Since starting with Sparkling Minds we have seen great support and flexibility from all of the staff which really helped with the initial settling period and a growing confidence for our child who is genuinely so excited to go to nursery now. We have noticed how the great habits and routines of nursery
are mimicked at home, not to mention the level of communication too. We are forever pleased with choosing this nursery.

My daughter has been at Sparking Minds since she was nine months old and she is now four, and I cannot explain how much she has thrived in this setting. She absolutely loves going and is excited for her little sister to start soon too! I have never doubted any of the outstanding care they have given
her. I was anxious when she first started as she had an allergy, but the staff went above and beyond to reassure us about all the safety measures they have in place. We love the regular updates we get via the log and can see they encourage our daughter's interests! The staff have always been so caring and supportive. It will be a very sad day when she has to leave, but I know this nursery would have prepared her for her next big adventure at school.

Sparkling Minds is an excellent nursery! We’re so happy we’ve found somewhere so amazing for our son to learn and play. All the staff are so lovely, kind and caring. It really is like a big family! Our daughter has been going to Sparkling Minds since September 2023, and she absolutely loves it. The staff are all so kind, and the nursery itself is lovely, but most importantly, we feel like she is completely safe and well looked after. Not only that, she has grown in confidence so much since joining.
Sending her to Sparkling Minds was the best decision we made for her and us as parents. We would highly recommend!

Sparkling Minds is simply incomparable when it comes to the level of care, kindness and patience of the staff who work here. As a very anxious first-time dad, all I wanted for my son (who started in the baby room at the age of 1) was just for him to be happy and to have nice adults around him. However,
we genuinely hit the jackpot as all the ladies who work here fully embraced him and took the time and patience to really get to know him and genuinely enjoyed and encouraged his individuality. I knew this as they were always so excited and happy to share with me the special moments they shared with him such as putting on his favourite songs for him to perform his dances to and encouraging him to roar and stomp as he was a mega dinosaur fan! I can wholeheartedly say that I was 100% confident leaving him at nursery every day knowing he was receiving genuine love and care from all the staff. My little boy thrived here, and I have no doubt my little girl will too when she starts in the summer!

Our daughter has been at Sparkling Minds Nursery for nine months and she has flourished in that time. The staff there truly care and help the children build confidence in a setting that makes them feel safe. We get regular photo updates on the app, which is lovely to see. They do so many different activities
with them, which look great fun and help prepare them for school.

Sparkling Minds is an outstanding nursery with exceptional staff. The care, commitment and passion of the staff is clear to see and shines through in everything they do. Both of my children are very happy and thriving here.
There are great facilities and learning opportunities including forest school.
Regular updates on the app are brilliant as you are kept up to date with your child's progress and milestones.
Communication is also excellent and we are always informed of any staff changes and important information. They have put on Stay and Play sessions, so parents and guardians can go into the nursery, creating a sense of community among parents too. To support and reassure parents of the transition to school the team organised a 'Preparing your Child for School' session as well as an online session. The menus are varied and nutritious and both my boys eat pretty much everything that is put in front of them- the same cannot be said at home! A truly brilliant nursery. Thank you!

Your thorough review really does cover so many elements of our provision and reassures us that we are able to provide high quality for our children and families. Our recent parent questionnaires helped us to reflect on some simple additions and this has clearly supported the sense of community we were hoping to develop further, particularly after COVID and necessary restrictions. The 'Stay & Play' and 'Stay & Make' sessions were so successful we decided to plan more as they really did lift the spirits of all involved. Having instant feedback from our families at the time and watching interactions between parents, children and practitioners consolidates our aim of developing the 'extended family' rather than 'just childcare'. We understand how the transition to school is a very different experience for each family and the idea to purchase an online session from an external provider is hopefully something we can repeat again in the future.

Our daughter was only at Sparkling Minds for a short time before starting her full-time preschool but she had the most wonderful time there. The staff ensured she settled in quickly and were so supportive. The Forest Schools program was fantastic and my daughter came home with lots of new vocabulary
and experiences to share with the family. She has learned so much and we are so thankful for the really enriching experience she has received.

Very helpful and caring staff at Sparkling Minds. My son has always been happy to see the staff, and they have many activities and fun things for the kids to do. Staff have always been informed of any accidents or incidents when they happen and have been very good at communicating events at the nursery.

We have been really pleased with our son’s experience at Sparkling Minds and would highly recommend it to other parents. The outdoor space and the room sizes are really great and we loved that they are continually introducing new things like the forest school experience for several weeks at a time.
Our son made lots of lovely friends and he would include the grown-ups in this category even! We are having to move him now as we are moving house and we are sad that he won’t be able to spend his last year before school at the nursery and its wonderful setting.

Our eldest has just left nursery and our youngest is still attending - we honestly could not have been happier with the nursery, staff and the learning journey. Both our children have been so happy here. They run in in the morning to the teachers and their friends and at pick up are so happy and telling
us what they have done during the day with such enthusiasm. They have each made some really good friends. Handing a child over to people you don’t know can be hard but we felt so at ease with the staff, they really are like a big family and make the children feel so loved. It really has been the best few years for my eldest and has made him into a very confident, happy, kind, inquisitive little boy who is very excited about school! Luckily I still have my youngest there so it’s not goodbye forever yet. Could not rate this nursery more!

Sparkling Minds has been the most wonderful setting for my two boys - attending from June 2020 and November 2022. They have learned so much during their time there, building in confidence and always coming home with big smiles, telling us about what they have been learning. The outdoor space is second
to none, with lovely learning experiences and carefully thought-through equipment, and the addition of a forest school for the older children has been brilliant. The staff are so friendly, welcoming and caring, and inclusive of all children. I would recommend the setting to anyone.

My daughter has been at Sparkling Minds for 18 months and has moved rooms in that time.
We leave her there in the morning, knowing she is going to have an amazing day, supported and cared for by the professional and brilliant staff across the setting. Her journey there has, at times, been supported
by the whole team, who we know have the best interests of each child at heart.
I cannot recommend Sparkling Minds enough.

This nursery is exceptional. One of my children attending the nursery has a list of dietary issues and skin sensitivities. The team at Sparkling Minds have been so professional and thorough in making sure my son has had the best care to ensure his safety is of huge importance.
No stone left unturned,
‘i‘s dotted and ‘t’s crossed. Even invited me as the parent to attend their most recent training courses for anaphylaxis training.

Cannot recommend this nursery highly enough. The location is lovely with lots of outdoor space, and the children are outdoors at least twice a day in all weathers. The food is cooked on-site with a varied and nutritious rolling menu. The staff are so caring, give lots of support and cuddles, and really
encourage the children to be independent. But the real proof that can't be faked is how much my son loves going!

I cannot speak more highly of Sparkling Minds. After such a long period without much interaction with others due to lockdown, my son started around 11-months-old, and I was so unsure how he would get on. The staff are all amazing, great at putting us parents at ease, but also all clearly love their
job and treat the little ones with the most love and care. I have never doubted my decision to send him.
He is absolutely flourishing from his time at nursery, and this is a credit to all the amazing activities that are set up each day - lots of time in the garden and him being made to feel at home!

Sparkling Minds is a truly special place. My daughter has been at the nursery since she was one up until this September before going to school.
The staff are so nurturing with the children and genuinely care about them. They are welcoming to the parents too, and made myself and my husband feel very
included. Through the nurturing nature of the nursery, I feel my daughter has thrived and grown. The learning is natural and fun, and they are led by the children's interests in play.
The office staff, owners and management are also great and want to make a difference, and think about innovative ways to keep on effect change, for example, meetings individually to think about the transition to school with lots of helpful, thoughtful ideas for us to help with.

It's so reassuring to read how the personal touch has continued during the pandemic and the change over to our ownership. It is so important for the children to learn through their interests and play, but also for our families to feel confident in our intentions for continued improvement through ongoing reflection.
