I strongly recommend this nursery who have been hugely supportive and accommodating since our son started when he was 9 months old. He is soon to be leaving to go to school in September and we can not fault the nursery, staff, leadership and learning environment.
They have provided a welcoming, warm
and encouraging nursery experience and have nurtured his needs with compassion, deligence and care.

My daughter has been going to Busy Bees since she was 11 months old in the baby room. She settled in very quickly and has recently moved up to the 2-3 room.
Whenever we pick her up she is always happy in her surroundings. She always comes home happy and demonstrates things she has clearly learnt at
nursery.
The updates on ParentZone throughout the day are excellent as it gives us the opportunity to see how she is and the observations and pictures are always appreciated.
Excellent nursery, very friendly caring staff and warm welcoming surroundings.

We are really pleased with how our daughter is progressing at Busy Bees in Chatham. It has taken a little while for her to come out her shell but now she's really confident and enjoying nursery. The staff/management have encouraged this and engage so well with her. There are so many varied, fun activities
for her to try. I also like the freedom of the garden in all weathers. I think Busy Bees accommodates every need and adjusts accordingly to each individual.

We have been extremely pleased with the care and attention that our children have received at the nursery from day one.
All staff members are caring and polite.
If we have any concerns or queries we have no qualms about talking to management or the child’s key person in order to find a solution.
The only negative we believe there to be is that the pre-school room is a bit on the small side (especially on days when all the children are in) and it does get distracting for the children with people walking through to get to the other rooms since there is no wall separating it from the walkway (perhaps a half sectioned wall with glass at the top).
We will be very sad when the time comes for the children to move on.

Our son has been at Busy Bees in Chatham since he was 6 months old. He's now four and a half so he's basically done a third of his growing up in the Nursery. I couldn't be happier with the way that 4 years has gone by and there will be tears come September when he says goodbye for the last time, I know
it.
The staff are never less than outstanding, keeping him happy, engaged and learning. There's always feedback when we pick him up and via text messages, calls and the Parent Zone app.
On the very rare occasions when things have required attention, they've been handled promptly and professionally. All we ever hear on the way home is what he's done, what they've made, who he's played with and what he's eaten. Frankly, if they offered me the chance to pick up my own lunch from the kitchen then I'd do it! It's no surprise it gets such glowing reports from Ofsted and parents. Opens early, closes late, no extras to pay over the headline fee. I can't see anywhere better.

Busy Bees in Chatham has a very warm and friendly feel which makes dropping my son off so much easier. He absolutely loves going to nursery and gets very excited to talk about what he has done during the day and the exceptional interactions he has had with the staff and children which are clearly evident
around the setting. I genuinely feel like this is home from home for us and wouldn’t think of going anywhere else with the thought of my little man missing out on this amazing experience. We are forever thankful to Busy Bees in Chatham.

Both of my children have been attending this nursery for a couple of years now and I am really happy that they get to spend their time away from us in such a lovely environment. The staff are amazing, provide great feedback at the end of the day and show genuine interest in the kids. I am always impressed
at how much the kids eat - more than they do at home - so goes without saying the food is a big hit with my two. Although it is one of the more expensive nurseries in the area, it is worth it for the peace of mind I have when dropping the kids off before work. I am impressed with the activities which are undertaken to help progress development and also find the Parent Zone app really useful in keeping up to date with day to day activity and also assessments and observations. I recommended this nursery to a friend who also now sends her child and would recommend to anyone else looking for a nursery in the area.

My daughter is my second child to attend Busy Bee’s Nursery, the child care is absolutely amazing and the dedication and commitment from the staff is outstanding. The communication between parent and staff is always 100%, which leaves me as a parent, very reassured that my daughter is in best care without
the need to worry.

When we were looking for a nursery for our daughter, we didn't know what we wanted or were looking for. When we stepped foot into Busy Bees we knew we had found it. From the first impressions of the modern and well-maintained building, to the warm, friendly welcome from all the staff we were really
reassured. Now our daughter has been at the nursery for three months we know we have made the right choice. She loves it and we feel like the staff have become like extended family for her! She loves going and all the staff are so kind and friendly to us all. She seems to eat better at nursery than at home and is always tired out from all the activities they have done with her during the day. There is always something new to do and we love the app they use which updates us on what she has been up to during the day, as well as what and when she has eaten, slept and had nappy changes. We are really happy with Busy Bees!

Busy Bees Chatham consistently receive an outstanding and for good reason. The staff are warm, welcoming and understanding of all situations and family make up.
Staff keep parents well informed of children's progress and events (via an online system, face to face discussions, phone calls, letters,
texts and emails).

My baby started here at 8 months old and has really taken to the change well. She has grown close with all staff members in her room and will often smile or turn when she hears their voice.
My baby is a bit of a picky eater, but she consistently eats up the meals provided by the onsite chef. The menu is so well rounded, I've recently started trying out some of the meals at home.
As a first time mum, staff members have really gone above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. It is one of the pricier nurseries in Medway, however, it is definitely worth every penny.
Peace of mind, as well as the safety, security and well being of your child, is priceless.

My son has attended the nursery from 5 months old and over the last year, I have seen him develop significantly. The nursery covers a wide range of activities and this has helped him develop into a confident toddler. The staff are very engaging and the feedback at the end of each day is great as well
as the online parent zone that gives me daily updates on activity in the nursery. The nursery is always adding new ideas and their recent parent's breakfast table is great for parents on the go.

We can't fault this branch of Busy Bees in Chatham and have found all of the staff to be amazing with our daughter.
We have had to change nurseries due to moving to another area and the new nursery has big boots to fill!
Our daughter has been at Busy Bees in Chatham for almost 2 years and has thrived,
exceeding our expectations for learning.
I will be very sad for us leaving this nursery and wish all the staff the best for the future.

Busy Bees in Chatham is a fantastic nursery. My son has been going there since he was 11 months old. In every room that he has been in, he has developed massively and made some fantastic relationships.

The team that work there are great, they are supportive and helpful. My son did not eat until

he was one, I struggled with this as he wouldn't wean and therefore I felt a failure. The team at Busy Bees were amazing, they helped no end and really supported me through that.

They always have great ideas and offer some really lovely options - hand printed mugs/photos/pictures, you name it!

I would not hesitate in recommending this nursery.

I am so pleased that I decided to send my daughter to this nursery. I am over the moon with the care she receives and I know that she is in safe hands every day. All of the staff here are amazing and my daughter looks forward to seeing them every morning. The management are very approachable and I often
see them spend time with the children not just sit in an office as you would expect. The quality of food that is provided is exceptional, my daughter is very fussy but always enjoys the meals/snacks given to her. I am forever recommending this nursery and have nothing but praise for all of the dedicated hard working staff there.

Current Review Score: 8.2 (8.181)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 8.2 (8.181) out of 10 for Busy Bees Chatham is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.9 out of 5 from 2 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 3.3 out of 5 from 2 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.917 for Busy Bees Chatham is calculated as follows: ( (23 Excellents x 5) + (1 Satisfactorys x 3) ) ÷ 24 Ratings = 4.917
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 3.264 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Busy Bees Chatham is based on 2 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 10 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, and then 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews and then 0.1 Points for the next five Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.100, 7th = 0.100, 8th = 0.100, 9th = 0.100, 10th = 0.100) 3 + 0.125 = 3.125
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 72 number of registered child places is 14.4. 2 Positive Reviews ÷ 14.4 = 0.139
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
