We have had such a positive experience with Spring at St Bart's. Our daughter absolutely loves going and has made so much progress since starting. The staff are fantastic, well informed and friendly. The building and outside space is fantastic. The staff regularly update the app with lovely videos and
information about the children's day!

My son loves going to nursery here!
In what has been an unsettling year for him - he first completed three settling in sessions prior to lockdown one, before having to wait another four months to start due to the pandemic, six months later, he is always asking when is he going to nursery next.
The
staff are all friendly, and the nursery is very accommodating when it comes to any additional sessions or changes to the days he attends.
I always know that my son is going to be offered a varied and nutritious breakfast or lunch.
The use of the app means I am able to keep in touch with his carers easily, get a picture of his day with regards to eating and to know what activities he has been getting up to during the day.
I have also been more than happy with the way the nursery has implemented safeguards during this pandemic.
The nursery is value for money in my eyes.

Spring at St Bart's is a wonderful nursery where both my boys have grown in confidence and learnt so much. The staff have always been kind, interested and supportive, there is always a smiling face or confident ‘he’ll be fine’ when my little one hasn’t wanted me to leave.
Any concerns or questions
have been swiftly answered and I love being able to see photos and comments on my son’s time through the app. I’ll be sad when it’s time for him to leave and head off to school- thank you!

My son has been with the team at St Bart's since he was ten months old. He is off to school later this year so we will be really sad to leave such a wonderful nursery that has been a huge part of our lives. The staff have been brilliant from day one and made sure he is happy and secure. I have recommended
to friends and will continue to do so. They offer a wide range of activities, ballet, music, yoga and more recently forest school, all included in the price as are all meals, snacks, milk, etc. As a baby, they made sure his special formula was purchased and kept separate for him. He has a lovely bond with his key worker who I can honestly say treats her work as more than just a job. Thanks Spring at St Bart's.

Our son enjoys his time at the nursery and always happily spends his time there. We, as parents could not be more happy with the range of activities, professionalism and friendly and helpful service we receive. Children have access to many different areas to play in and get to explore new things. Seasonal
activities, like Christmas meeting with Santa, is a bonus.

We love St Barts. My daughter has found it very traumatic starting nursery at the age of two and the staff have helped us in her transition. They have accommodated our wishes for drop off time and regularly update us with how she is doing. Whenever I make contact I am talked to politely and always get
help and questions answered. My daughter talks fondly of all staff (including the maintenance man who catches the scary spiders) and mentions many names other than her main carers. It has a family feel about the place. Would definitely choose this setting for any other children that might come along.

I viewed many nurseries when searching for a space for my 2-year-old. It was clear as soon as I walked into St Bart's that it held an extremely high standard and understanding of the children in their care.
My daughter settled very quickly. The use of the Famly app is a real bonus to getting an insight
into her day and is great for communication between me and her carers when needed. Keeping track of her development and seeing photos of her taking part in ballet, crafts or playing is lovely to see.
The rooms are well equipped and the activities vary on subjects they are focusing on, which my daughter loves. She skips out of the nursery, happy to talk to me about what she's been learning and playing. From planets, books, dinosaurs, she's thoroughly enjoyed the topics they've focused on through play and craft.
The staff are extremely knowledgeable and my daughter absolutely loves her carer. There are also two lovely gardens for all-important time outdoors and the menus are fantastic.

My two-year-old son has been attending St Bart’s for a year now and we are extremely happy with the care he receives. I go to work knowing he is safe and happy and getting up to a wide range of activities. The staff are all so caring and from day one all the staff have got to know us as a family and
welcomed us. My son isn’t always keen to leave me in the morning but they have made it easy for us to establish a routine with him and he tells me every day when I pick him up that he has had fun.

Extremely happy with the care our daughter receives. We can’t recommend the nursery enough. The app is fantastic as it allows us to contact her key worker directly, view photos, see her daily routine and any nursery notifications. We love that she gets to do a variety of activities, explore outside
and go to the soft play room. Our daughter is just over one and we’re so pleased we picked St Barts.

My daughter loves it here at St Bart's she does so many fun activities, the staff are great and couldn’t be more welcoming. The food is great and homemade. I love being able to see updates when at work of what she’s doing throughout the day. They are on the go all day, she always comes home raving
about the activities she’s done that day. I wouldn’t send her anywhere else.

The staff are friendly and cannot do enough for the kids. I get updates all the time on my son's activities and my son always comes home tired from all the things he has been doing. They feed them very healthy food and have been flexible with my working hours, we've even had a couple of days short notice
that they could accommodate. Cannot recommend highly enough!

My daughter has been attending Spring at St Bart's nursery since April 2018; she is extremely well looked after by all the staff and is truly happy there.
My friends who’s little ones go to alternative nurseries are always impressed when I tell them the wide range of activities that St Bart's involve
the children in including trips to wildlife parks/play centres, baby ballet classes, arts and crafts, baking and even walks to the local duck pond to feed the ducks.
I would highly recommend all aspects Spring at St Bart's nursery from their healthy home-cooked meals to their dedication to developing and nurturing the children.
I couldn’t be happier as my daughter is thriving and the team at
St Bart's have played a massive part in her overall development; for this, I am truly grateful?

Love this nursery so much. We viewed St Bart's in September 2018 for our 4-year-old daughter and she had the most delightful year at the nursery before starting school. The nursery staff are friendly, kind, caring and encouraging and our daughter thrived in her confidence and development. They have
a great way of preparing children for school and the fact my daughter ran into school on her first day was a testament to how much they had worked with her to build her confidence.
In July 2019 my 6-month-old started at the nursery in the baby room. Being apprehensive of her being so young I was instantly put at ease by the member of staff who managed the baby room my daughter is in. In the 7 months that my daughter has been at the nursery, she has done weekly craft activities, played in imaginative tuff trays, had baby ballet lessons and music time. You are kept up to date on the parent app and get to see pictures of your child having fun. Couldn't recommend this nursery enough!

Really lovely nursery, great staff who are friendly and attentive to my children. They genuinely care about the children they look after and go to great lengths to ensure that each day is varied and full of fun activities.
They worked with us to get our younger child into a more suitable routine and
it really helped with how well she slept at night. Our daughter is always happy to go into the nursery and is always playing and having fun when we pick her up.
Famly is a great app and I enjoy seeing how much fun my daughter is having and how she is developing.

Current Review Score: 8.4 (8.417)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 8.4 (8.417) out of 10 for Spring Nursery St Bart's is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.8 out of 5 from 4 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 3.6 out of 5 from 4 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.792 for Spring Nursery St Bart's is calculated as follows: ( (39 Excellents x 5) + (8 Goods x 4) + (1 Satisfactorys x 3) ) ÷ 48 Ratings = 4.792
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 3.625 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Spring Nursery St Bart's is based on 4 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 10 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, and then 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews and then 0.1 Points for the next five Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.100, 7th = 0.100, 8th = 0.100, 9th = 0.100, 10th = 0.100) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 = 3.375
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 80 number of registered child places is 16. 4 Positive Reviews ÷ 16 = 0.25
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
