Nursery Days is fully and beautifully refurbished and now has large natural playgrounds.

It is based within the grounds of The Old School in the rural village of Upchurch close to Rainham, Sittingbourne and Gillingham. Nursery Days offers childcare for 3 months to 5 years.

Individuality is celebrated, and through observations and discussions with parents and carers, is something that really ensures children's time at Nursery Days is based on their interests and personal needs.

A highly qualified, experienced and skilled staff team, include qualified teachers who are dedicated to continually enabling children to feel confident and secure at Nursery Days.

Indoors, Nursery days is a well designed homely environment that promotes emotional well-being, togetherness and friendship. Here children can feel comfortable to snuggle down or explore with confidence, and will always be at home.

Outdoors, Nursery Days experimental playground is an extra asset to the nursery. The children also get to experience a natural learning adventure at daily forest school (with a nursery forest school leader) at their private orchard which is local to the nursery.

Nursery Days has a highly qualified and experienced cook to prepare fresh and healthy food daily for the children. The heartwarming home-cooked lunches, snacks, breakfast and tea use locally farmed fruit and vegetables.

They offer a huge range of experiences every day for the children at Nursery Days. These include baby yoga and massage, professionally lead sports class, cooking and gardening club, woodwork classes, musical and movement sessions and much more.

Our son joined Nursery Days in 2021 after all of the National lockdowns as we felt he needed more social interaction with other children. This nursery has been brilliant for him, and it has been so lovely to see him develop over his time there. He loves the adults in his room; they are supportive, friendly
and caring and know him so well. We have always felt he has been safe and well looked after, and he has access to so many good quality experiences and activities. They also spend so much time learning outside, which he loves, and the children have so much freedom to join in with and do activities they love. He has built lovely relationships with adults and children, and he goes in so happy every time! One of his highlights is the very regular visits to the orchard where he loves to play, especially with the mud kitchen! The nursery also has great communication and is always on hand to support and respond to any questions. Thank you for all of your support for our family and for helping our son

All the staff at Nursery Days have been so patient when settling my little one. We got there in the end, all thanks to the special bond they made with him. He gets to have messy play, enjoy tasty food and explore the garden or local park/orchard regularly - which you just don’t get in every nursery!
I couldn’t recommend the nursery more.

Nursery Days are fantastic, my daughter loves going there! She loves all the staff and has a great relationship with her key worker! She loves going to the orchard and really loves messy play, but most especially she loves the food and cooking club!

Nursery Days has been amazing for my son who has been attending since he was 8 months old. The facilities are excellent, especially the outside areas, including trips to the orchard and local outside areas. The staff are always friendly and very caring, encouraging the children's learning and development.

Nursery Days is such an amazing setting, my now seven year old used to attend and I didn’t even consider anywhere else for my one year old. In the time between it has had a full refurbishment and is now even better! The staff are lovely, he literally cannot wait to get inside when he sees them in the
morning. Photos are posted daily on the secure online account so I can see exactly what he gets up to during the day and it shows how happy he is. He loves his little adventures to the orchard in the buggy especially.
The nursery itself is in a lovely old building which has a few rooms giving it a home from home feel. You’re kept updated with information via social media and the online platform, meaning you can ask questions and get responses really quickly. I have never had any issues with anything, but am confident the room leaders and managers would deal with anything swiftly and professionally if I did.
There literally isn’t one thing I would say I would change about Nursery Days.

Both of my children attend Nursery Days and I could not be more impressed with the staff and environment they provide. My boys love going and I feel assured that they have the best care. The facilities are exceptional, especially the forestry element.

My son has been attending Nursery Days for just over 6-months now and has thoroughly enjoyed every second he spends there, which to a parent is so important and reassuring. They provide an excellent range of activities designed to engage all children, allowing them to both enjoy and learn at the same
time. The unique experience of the Orchard sessions allows the children to interact with nature whilst learning at the same time. It allows them to learn about growing fruit and vegetables as well as looking after animals. The staff are so friendly and have really good relationships with both children and parents, they provide a caring and nurturing environment for all who attend. My son has come on leaps and bounds since starting at Nursery Days and always looks forward to going. I would highly recommend this nursery to other parents.

Nursery Days is an amazing nursery. My little girl always has fun and comes out with a smile on her face. The staff are so good with her, and I know I am leaving her in excellent hands. They have access to the theatre and the park, which is lovely as my little one loves to be outdoors. There is always

Nursery Days always welcome my daughter and help make her feel at ease during drop off, as she gets worried about leaving mum at times. My little one always comes out happy and gets to participate in great activities at the nursery. The staff are always friendly and give me an account of her day at

My son started at the nursery in October 2020 and because of lockdown he had not had the opportunity to spend time with others much over the previous six months or so. I wasn't sure how he would manage but the staff were so caring and welcoming. He's now been there six months and goes in happy every
day, I couldn't ask for more than that. I love the outdoor opportunities the children are offered and the different sessions have been really useful for fitting in with work. I would definitely recommend Nursery Days to any family.

This is a fantastic nursery which my son has been attending since he was two. The facilities are amazing and the staff go above and beyond to ensure the children are engaged. Every day brings so much variety and they are always findings new activities. Everyone at nursery days seems to have such a passion
for making sure each child has an excellent experience. I would highly recommend and will be sad for my son's last day but he will be moving on to the next chapter of starting school.

Nursery Days is fantastic. My child has been there for 9 months and loved every moment. The staff are very caring and have built strong bonds to settle and develop him. The provisions they provide have given lots of new experiences and opportunities he would otherwise not have had. He is always being
encouraged, supported, praised and challenged and, with the adaptions they have made for his dietary and medical needs, I could not ask for anything more. I feel so happy and safe to leave him in their care.

Nursery Days is an excellent childcare setting and our little boy who has attended for two years absolutely loves it. The diverse offering of activities is brilliant. The children undertake cooking club, they attend forest school where they have a purpose built building to accommodate them and there

My daughter has attended Nursery Days since she was 8 months old and is now in the pre-school part of the nursery. She has had the best experience there, with not just playing, but real learning and making her first friendships. Nursery Days has provided her with experiences we wouldn't necessarily
be able to do with her, such as exploring their forest school and the orchard where they learn about all sorts of animals, plants and more. They have a great range of equipment, fantastic play areas outside and in, the mud kitchen, using real tools, so not just the standard painting and sticking.
The staff are phenomenal, so supportive of not just the children but the parents too. Helping them learn all sorts of skills in readiness for school.
The food menu always sounds lovely, we have an update on what they have each week.
The nursery is very clean and secure. Our daughter is happy on every pick up and always excited to go the days she attends.

As a family we absolutely love this nursery, all our concerns have been listened to, great communication from the staff. My kids love coming to this nursery which is a massive reassurance to us that we picked the right school for them. So much for the kids to do and we love seeing their journey on Tapestry.

Our son started nursery for the first time at the beginning of January and during lockdown. We cannot thank the nursery enough to help settle our son and also us. We were unsure if it was the right time with everything going on but the nursery put our minds at rest and has been such a lovely experience.
Our son had been looked after by his grandparents for two and a half years so this was a big change. Our son's keyworker is a real credit to the nursery and after a few tears, our son is loving his time at nursery and has a real bond with his keyworker. Thank you!

I am so grateful I found nursery days for my son. After having trouble settling my son elsewhere, Nursery Days welcomed and settled him without a problem. They always keep me updated with all the things that he has been doing and I can see that it is evident that he has had a good time as he is always
happy when I pick him up.


The nursery itself is beautifully kept and clean and tidy. There are lovely toys and activities for the children to do and it’s always safe.


The staff are always friendly, polite and helpful. Most importantly, they look after my son how I would want him to be looked after.


I recommend wholeheartedly.

My child has been going to Nursery Days since May and she absolutely loves it. The team in her room are amazing, making both her and myself feel completely comfortable in her new surroundings. Going to nursery are genuinely her favourite days of the week and whenever I drop her off or pick her up she
always has a huge smile. I couldn’t recommend this nursery enough. Not just because of how happy she is there, but also because of how far she’s grown and how much she's learnt since being there.
