My daughter learns a lot.
They always seem to do lots of different activities and lots of outdoor time, which is very important to us. I would highly recommend and we are so glad we chose to send our son there.
both have a fantastic time each day and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend St Nicks.
Excellent nursery
If I had any questions they are always answered with no hesitation and always informed on her progress.
I would recommend this nursery and my son will also be starting here soon.
St Nicholas nursery is an amazing nursery and I wouldn't want to send my children to any other nursery.
St. Nicholas is a fantastic nursery that both my children have attended. The facilities are amazing and the staff are brilliant. I cannot fault the care. My child loves it.
Our son is learning lots in the nursery and his speech has improved a lot. No issues and would highly recommend it.
Parents evening went well. Staff explained in detail about my daughter and how well she is doing.
Staff show care and concern for his learning, safety and overall wellbeing often going over and above to ensure he is cared for!
Staff highlight potential hurdles to me and help to resolve them. Staff show support for me as well as my son.
The learning opportunities are second to none!
Excellent staff, experienced, well established. Excellent communication with parents.
My older child also had an excellent experience at this nursery and my youngest is now also having an enriched experience.
I am very pleased with St Nicholas Nursery and the staff. My daughter loves it here, she has enjoyed every room (Twinkle Stars, Stars and Sunshines) the staff are very welcoming. The rooms are always clean and bright with all the lovely displays. My daughter loves the BIG garden and tells me how she is outside a lot 'we done a bear hunt outside', 'we looked at the bogs'. I would and have recommended this nursery.
My son comes to this nursery and has had a few developmental issues. This nursery has helped and supported me and my child through them, amazing nursery with AMAZING staff.
My two daughters attend St Nicholas Nursery, I feel the staff are exceptionally friendly and always keep me informed of my daughters' progress and learning. My daughters are always excited to go to nursery and come home happy. The staff have built lovely friendships with my daughters and I feel very happy leaving them in a happy and safe environment.
All the settling in sessions were very good. Lots of information about my child was taken and they took the time to get to know her. The organisation is good and emails from the nursery provider are useful. Any payment/voucher queries have been swiftly dealt with. My daughter is happy and well looked after.
I was so nervous about putting my son into nursery at 18 months old. I was quickly put at ease by the room leader at the time. When my son was being moved up to the toddler room I felt so anxious for him, I had no need to be at all. They are so caring, they really make so much effort with my child and myself, I'm always informed of how my sons day has been etc, they really are fantastic, he has learnt so much. My son absolutely loves coming to nursery, it's time for my son to move up a class again and yet again I'm not disappointed with how much son is looked after. Thank so much, I can't wait for my daughter to start nursery and for her to enjoy it as much as my son does. I would highly recommend St Nicholas Nursery to any parent.
1) The staff - there seems to be really good staff retention, with a wonderful mix of age, gender and personality, but an over-riding feeling of enjoyment and caring.
2) Individual requirements - one of our children has had special dietary needs, which the nursery has catered for thoughtfully and without any sense of difficulty.
3) Outside space - the garden is huge, shady and a wonderful place to explore. I read that children need 3 hours exercise a day - it would be difficult to say that most settings could provide this, but St Nicholas' massive garden really helps the children run. And run. And run.
4) Accommodating family life - the nursery love to build activities around home events.
Thankyou!
My daughter has been at St Nicholas for 3 years and is about to start school. She has developed into a bright confident child and is well prepared for the next step in her education. I have the staff to thank for this with their endless enthusiasm and patience with each child.
I have never had a single complaint to voice regarding St Nicholas. They have been accommodating and understanding with regard to my ever changing work pattern and will always try their best to help.
There is a fantastic team of consistent staff who appear to genuinely love what they do. There is also a very low staff turn over.
The atmosphere is lovely and on sunny days all the children are free to play in the beautiful garden closely observed by staff members.
Both my daughter and I will miss St Nicholas and the close relationships we have built during this time.
Thank you to each and every member of staff and may you continue to provide this excellent service.
My son has been going to the nursery since he was 8 months old. His development has continuously been progressing really well during his time there. He enjoys coming home and showing me and my partner his creations and talks about all the exciting activities he has been doing as he is now in the preschool room. My son's favourite part of nursery is their large wonderful garden with growing area and mud kitchen that he loves to explore.
We are pleased with our grandson's progress and he is really happy at nursery.
