Partou Sucklings Yard Day Nursery & Pre-School

Our 18-month-old son has been attending Angels at Play - Suckling's Yard since August last year and absolutely loves it! All the staff are so friendly and always happy to accommodate requests such as specific nap times. They have been amazing in what has been a horrendous 9 months in keeping the nursery open during the latest lock-down and taking the necessary precautions to ensure they can continue to do so. We also love being able to see our son gets up to each day, and how he is developing, through the photos, videos and comments regularly posted to the app - it is clear that he has so much fun and is always entertained throughout the day.

My little boy has loved going to Angels and also learnt lots. I’m often surprised by his writing, numeracy and language skills he’s got which is down to the quality of teaching and learning through play. The staff are wonderful with low turnover and the manager knows every child individually.

The manager and her team at Angels are so lovely and caring. My daughter has been going to this nursery for around 2.5 years now and I will be so sad when she has to leave. When my daughter started she had just been diagnosed with failure to thrive due to numerous food allergies and I was so nervous about her starting at a nursery but the team (including the chef) have been amazing at assisting with her diet and creating menus to suit her needs. My daughter is so happy to go to nursery and even runs all the way there as she is so eager to play with her friends and all the staff. Being able to see pictures and her progress via the app every day is great and my daughter always comes home talking about all the things she has done every day and how much fun her day has been. They have dealt with the current circumstances brilliantly and my daughter has been back there for a few weeks now and I truly feel like she is back in the safest hands with the team at Angels.

Since my son has started going to Angels at Play he has come on so much. He absolutely loves it. Everyone that works there is amazing. I love the updates where you can see what they have been doing, how long he's napped for and what he's eaten while he's there.

The wonderful staff have never been anything but accommodating, attentive, caring and supportive to our little boy, right from settling in, through his development, building his confidence and enhancing his social skills. He adores his days playing and learning there and bonded really well with his key worker. We also love receiving photos and updates on the nursery app to see what he’s been up to!

I have been using Angels at Play at Suckling’s Yard for a number of years, as both of my children attend/have attended. The indoor nursery facilities are excellent, the staff are always positive and my children have both enjoyed their time here. I found the nursery excellent in listening to any queries or worries I might have, and they are happy to be led by the parents (ie. when you want to drop a nap or when you have been potty training at home). The food choices are healthy and varied. I have found AAP to be a brilliant prep for my children to start school. My only downside is the size of the outside space, but I knew that it was small going in, and the nursery still uses that space to the best it can be.

I honestly believe that being at Angels has contributed to their confidence and has made both my children more outgoing. I would recommend Angels to anyone.

We love Angels at Play. We chose it out of a number of nurseries because the staff really stood out. All the staff know the kids well and are really caring, invested and take a personal interest in their development and needs in a safe and supported environment. They take a lot of trouble to accommodate individual requests. My daughter gains so much from being there. She settled in very quickly in this happy and friendly environment, and even though she is quite young, she is excited and happy to go to nursery and there are never tears at drop-off! The nursery feels intimate, whilst having enough other children for interaction, plenty of space and separate areas for a range of activities. They are excellent with their menus and nutrition too. There is detailed feedback every day, use of the parent app so we get little reports throughout the day too and plenty of love and attention for your little one. They were excellent through the pandemic too.

What an amazing environment for my little girl! We are so grateful to all of the lovely teachers and staff at Angels! They have been amazing, supportive and accommodating irrespective of all recent challenges! I would highly recommend this nursery to any parent who is looking for an educational and fun space for their little ones.

My daughter has been attending Angels since October 2019 when she was almost a year old. I picked this nursery as it felt a bit more intimate than some of the others I visited. I wanted a nursery that wasn't too crowded. I genuinely feel I made the best decision. I cannot fault the staff there. They organise a wide range of activities for the children so they are doing something different and fun every day. They use an app to provide updates on the children along with photos. This is particularly reassuring, especially at the beginning when you are already feeling anxious about leaving them. I feel they really care about the children there and build up a lovely bond with them over a short space of time. My daughter has been extremely happy there and has especially taken to her key worker. I would recommend this nursery to anyone who needs childcare.

Brilliant team at Angles at Play, Sucklings Yard. We know our little girl is being cultivated and cared for when she is in the setting.

Angels At Play is a brilliant nursery! My son has settled incredibly quickly thanks to the warm and welcoming staff and thoroughly enjoys his days there. Our daughter has been going to Angels at Play, Suckling Yard since she was 9 months old. She is now almost 4 and during this time, I have had not one single occasion to make even the slightest complaint. The staff are excellent, they are friendly and caring but clearly also ensure the children learn boundaries and good behaviour. The activities they do are amazing, and I can't believe that thanks to them my daughter has seen a butterfly grow and a baby chick hatch. And that's not even considering all the messy play, sports, dancing etc. the list could go on. When its come to tricky times like dropping naps, eating a vegetable, potty training etc - I've often felt like I wouldn't have been able to get through those times without them! I cannot praise them enough.

My daughter has been attending nursery since she was 9 months old and has developed in all areas greatly. The staff are wonderful and caring and she can't wait to get through the door in the mornings! Always greeted with a lovely cuddle from a staff member. I cannot fault the nursery in any way and I feel confident leaving her there. Highly recommend!

We have been an Angels at Play (Sucklings Yard) family for 6 years now with both our children attending. We could not be happier with this nursery. Our daughter flourished in their care and was more than ready for school when she started - the nursery definitely helped with that learning preparation. Our son is currently there and is thriving - he's happy and the staff are caring and passionate about what they do. I would not hesitate to recommend Angels at Play to any prospective families.
