Partou Sucklings Yard Day Nursery & Pre-School, is a warm and welcoming nursery providing high-quality care. Offering stimulating and engaging spaces for children to grow and develop in, with lots of natural resources providing fantastic opportunities for children to explore, play and learn. The homely nursery, located in a detached building over 2 floors, was completely refurbished and re-resourced in 2019, and now offers an exceptional environment for children. To cater for such varied interests children have, the nursery is full of many beautifully made resources, natural play materials and authentic items you will find in the home, including books, to support all areas of learning.

We love Angels at Play. We chose it out of a number of nurseries because the staff really stood out. All the staff know the kids well and are really caring, invested and take a personal interest in their development and needs in a safe and supported environment. They take a lot of trouble to accommodate
individual requests. My daughter gains so much from being there. She settled in very quickly in this happy and friendly environment, and even though she is quite young, she is excited and happy to go to nursery and there are never tears at drop-off! The nursery feels intimate, whilst having enough other children for interaction, plenty of space and separate areas for a range of activities. They are excellent with their menus and nutrition too. There is detailed feedback every day, use of the parent app so we get little reports throughout the day too and plenty of love and attention for your little one. They were excellent through the pandemic too.

What an amazing environment for my little girl! We are so grateful to all of the lovely teachers and staff at Angels! They have been amazing, supportive and accommodating irrespective of all recent challenges! I would highly recommend this nursery to any parent who is looking for an educational and

My daughter has been attending Angels since October 2019 when she was almost a year old. I picked this nursery as it felt a bit more intimate than some of the others I visited. I wanted a nursery that wasn't too crowded. I genuinely feel I made the best decision. I cannot fault the staff there. They
organise a wide range of activities for the children so they are doing something different and fun every day. They use an app to provide updates on the children along with photos. This is particularly reassuring, especially at the beginning when you are already feeling anxious about leaving them. I feel they really care about the children there and build up a lovely bond with them over a short space of time. My daughter has been extremely happy there and has especially taken to her key worker. I would recommend this nursery to anyone who needs childcare.

Both my daughters have attended Angels since they were around 10 months old. They both settled easily and it was like a home from home. The love and care my daughters received whilst in the baby room was settling for me being a working Mum. We loved our time there, then it was time to go to the preschool
room where they have both thrived. We’ve had help with potty training with both, Angels helped make it a smooth transition out of nappies. The manager has been an absolute gem in sorting things out and helping me when I was out of work trying to find a part time job to fit around childcare needs/costs. The girls love their time here and they never want to leave when I pick them up. They’ve helped create two very confident little girls and Angels will be very close to my heart. When they start school soon, I will miss all the staff that have helped them along their journey.

Our daughter has been going to Angels at Play, Suckling Yard since she was 9 months old. She is now almost 4 and during this time, I have had not one single occasion to make even the slightest complaint. The staff are excellent, they are friendly and caring but clearly also ensure the children learn
boundaries and good behaviour. The activities they do are amazing, and I can't believe that thanks to them my daughter has seen a butterfly grow and a baby chick hatch. And that's not even considering all the messy play, sports, dancing etc. the list could go on. When its come to tricky times like dropping naps, eating a vegetable, potty training etc - I've often felt like I wouldn't have been able to get through those times without them! I cannot praise them enough.

My daughter has been attending nursery since she was 9 months old and has developed in all areas greatly. The staff are wonderful and caring and she can't wait to get through the door in the mornings! Always greeted with a lovely cuddle from a staff member. I cannot fault the nursery in any way and
I feel confident leaving her there. Highly recommend!

We have been an Angels at Play (Sucklings Yard) family for 6 years now with both our children attending. We could not be happier with this nursery. Our daughter flourished in their care and was more than ready for school when she started - the nursery definitely helped with that learning preparation.
Our son is currently there and is thriving - he's happy and the staff are caring and passionate about what they do. I would not hesitate to recommend Angels at Play to any prospective families.

Both of our children have attended this fabulous nursery. The staff make the setting a happy, friendly, caring environment for the children and our 2 year old daughter loves the variety of activities she gets to do - whether it be drawing, painting, role play, dancing, obstacle courses, or learning
about the natural environment. The days are planned well and we get to hear and see what the children have done at the end of each day. We very much feel part of the nursery family, trust the staff implicitly and have a really happy child!

My daughter has been attending Angels at Play (Suckling Yard) since she was 10 months old and she absolutely loves it.


Her development has come on leaps and bounds - particularly her social interactions with other children, her language skills and her sign language (she signs please and thank you

all the time!).


My daughter attends nursery full time and it gives me so much reassurance that she can’t get into the room quick enough - running at all staff for a hug every morning. They are wonderful with her and I am more productive knowing that she’s happy and well cared for - thank you to everyone there!
