Partou Sucklings Yard Day Nursery & Pre-School

Sucklings Yard provides a very caring and nurturing environment. Our son has enjoyed his time here.

My daughter has been at this nursery since she was 1 and really loves it. She talks about all the teachers and children like friends and can't wait to tell them all about her weekends.

My son is 4 and has been attending this nursery since he was 2. He is always so excited to go in, and tell me about his day when I pick him up.

Since joining, his confidence has grown so much and he has really excelled. He's also made such lovely friendships, and as we don't have a garden at home, he especially loves spending time playing outside at nursery.

The staff are incredibly caring and supportive - not just with him, but with our whole family, even helping with my other children who don't attend.

We feel very lucky to have found this nursery and would highly recommend it.

Sucking's Yard has been great for both of my children. My first joined age at 18 months in the toddler room and is now in pre-school and my second joined the baby room at 8 months. All of the staff are excellent; they are kind and professional and have built lovely relationships with both children. They really care about the individual children and get to know them well. The food is very good as are the activities. The outside space is fairly small but they make good use of it and always go outside when the weather is good enough. Communication with the nursery staff through the app and at drop-off/pick up is generally good. Communication with the head office is less good but most things can be done directly through nursery manager who is excellent.

We've had such a lovely experience with this nursery. The staff are warm, attentive, and genuinely care about the children's development and happiness. It's been wonderful to see how much our child has grown in confidence and curiosity since starting here. The environment feels safe, nurturing, and full of engaging activities. We're really grateful for the support and dedication of the whole team.

Sucklings Yard has been a fantastic place for our child. They have always addressed her specific needs and supported her throughout her time there. Staff are always welcoming and open, and have provided a safe and nurturing place for our child to develop.

A great nursery that I'm happy to take my child to. She enjoys interacting with the staff as they all put a lot of effort into making sure she's safe, happy and learning. I have a second child on the way and I'll be sending her here too.

I think my grandson likes being here. Every time I wait for messages and photos to see how his day is. I like that he eats well and sleeps well. It's fun to see him playing and reading books. Good to see him in a great mood.

This nursery has been wonderful from day one. My child took a little longer to settle but all the staff were great and I never worried about leaving him. He did many settling sessions and I was offered extra if needed which was great. The children do so many activities every day and it is lovely to see. Any concerns have always been addressed by the staff, however, it would be nice if consistent feedback is fed back to me at pick up as that has considerably dropped over the last 6 months. More pictures loaded onto the app would be nice to see as well

My daughter has now moved down to the preschool room and settled in quickly. It has been really special having familiar staff stand at drop off so not everything is new. We really appreciate how well-supported she is and encouraged to develop in all areas. Thank you all for your care!

My daughter attended Sucklings Yard from the age of ten months until 3 years old. The care from all the staff there over the years has been exceptional and they have all been fundamental in her development. I would definitely recommend this nursery.

The team at Sucklings Yard are honestly outstanding, they genuinely care so much and go above and beyond to look after the children in their care. They looked after my daughter so well and she loved every day at the nursery. The learning programme was brilliant, with monthly recommendations of how we could support our daughter's development at home. They were so supportive of us as a family when we needed additional ad-hoc days, and showed us time and time again that our daughter was number one priority. We were so sad when our daughter moved up to the local primary and I would wholeheartedly recommend Sucklings Yard to anyone. It is a very special nursery. If it weren't for our daughter's move to the local school, she would absolutely still be at Suckings Yard. Thank you so much again to the whole team for looking after our daughter so well. You're an absolute credit to your profession and individually amazing at what you do.

My son is nonverbal autistic and there’s nothing this amazing nursery hasn’t done for him, they’ve been absolutely amazing and my son is really thriving from being at the nursery! Would recommend it to anyone!

I was lucky enough that my child settled in extremely well to nursery, but I know this is because he is well looked after and he feels happy and safe to be there. Whenever I pick him up he comes out with a smile on his face. He has had a very positive experience so far!

Communication is good. Staff are happy to help. All suggestions I have previously made have been taken on board and improvements have been seen quickly. My boy is happy to go to nursery, enjoys playing out in the garden.

Our daughter started in February, she has settled in so well and the staff are so caring and kind. She always has a big smile on her face when we arrive in the morning and happily goes to the staff and is still smiling at pick-up. We get regular updates and a handover each day to see how her day has been. The staff keep them busy and are nurturing.

Both of our kids are at Angels and really love it. They enjoy going and are always full of chat about their day when we pick them up. We find the staff helpful and caring and recommend this setting to anyone who is looking for a nursery.

We are so happy that our little girl has joined Angels at Play - Suckling's Yard. She loved her first seven months and has developed so much. The care she receives is excellent, and she comes home every day so happy. I highly recommend this nursery!
