Priory Nursery, Stevenage Old Town

Our two and 3/4-year-old son has been here for over a year now and we could not be happier. He loves the staff and other children and comes home talking about them. Because the nursery is in one room, he has learnt a lot from the older children and is able to do loads of things we certainly haven't taught him! Standards are really high and he is clearly expected to be polite and this is reflected in the way he behaves at home. Most recently, we have been potty training and the whole team are superbly supportive and helped take the stress out of what can be a really challenging time. Often at home, we talk about how fortunate we are that he is part of the Priory family. I cannot recommend this nursery enough.

My child has attended The Priory since the age of 2 years and blossomed in their care. She still attends twice a week for their breakfast club. The manager is always at the end of the phone or email and really does everything to accommodate the needs of the family. When my eldest daughter attended with her sister during school holidays, she was over the moon to have been given responsibilities by the team - as an 8-year-old, this was huge for her. I love this nursery and the staff! Thank you all.

My son loves the nursery, the staff are fantastic, always making you feel welcome, brilliant with kids, especially if they are nervous. I always recommend the Priory. Food is always nice and healthy. Staff are always flexible with dates etc and willing to fit your child in, where they can.

Our little girl absolutely loves going to The Priory. The staff are all kind, caring, friendly and professional. She loves all the outside play and is learning loads while having fun. We honestly couldn’t ask for a better nursery and can’t thank, or recommend, The Priory enough.

We love this nursery! My son has been attending since he was 18 months old and absolutely loves it. He has learnt so much in his time there and he will be so sad this summer when he goes to ‘big school’ and has to say goodbye to his friends and teachers.

Great little nursery - I have 4 children and they have all started at this nursery. My youngest is 2, currently at the setting and enjoys going in every day. The staff are absolutely wonderful and very caring. Very easy to communicate with staff members and the manager does go above and beyond if I need an extra day. Best nursery in the area and I highly recommend it to any family with young children.

The staff are kind and caring. Going above and beyond for each individual child. My daughter will be going to school in September and I feel I couldn't have chosen a better place to start her early years education. A home away from home.

Great nursery with a vast amount of resources for the children. The staff team are so friendly and welcoming and I always felt confident my little one was in a safe and nurturing environment. This was my child’s first experience of being cared for outside of the family home and he settled so quickly and his confidence and development just continued to grow and grow whilst attending. Just a fantastic nursery! Both my children went there and they kept in contact ever since. The staff are excellent and many have been there many a year! We often supply toys and offcuts of artificial grass so good to see the nursery still going strong and the children having fun.

Both of my children attended the Priory and I can’t recommend them enough. The team are incredible and supportive of both child and parent. Our second child has additional needs and they have been amazing. My eldest now 6, still talks about them fondly.

My son has been attending The Priory Nursery for over a year now and loves it. The staff are very hands-on and seem to be enjoying their job. The food is home-cooked and nutritious. Since last summer, the kids have been playing outside a lot, and I believe that has directly helped my son bat off any colds and illnesses that one might typically pick up from the nursery. Overall, I recommend The Priory Nursery wholeheartedly.

I couldn’t be happier with The Priory Nursery. The nursery staff are so kind and caring; they all know my son. He is happy to see them every day, and they are as excited as me when my son does new things. It’s a home away from home. I definitely recommend them.
