You can stay connected during your child’s time at nursery through the ParentZone app. Your child’s key person will provide you with regular updates on day-to-day activities, as well as any key milestones, so you never miss a moment.

The highly experienced team carefully plan and prepare an extensive range of varied activities to help stimulate children’s learning, so their mind and body stay active during their time at nursery. Your child will learn a whole range of skills all whilst having fun, as the enthusiastic team follow the EYFS curriculum to help support children’s development.

There is something for every child to enjoy at Busy Bees Leyton Road, with cosy reading corners, exciting imaginative role play areas and a purposefully designed outdoor space, there is something to cater for every child’s needs and interests.

    There is a non-refundable Registration Fee payable to secure your place of £100
    £50 of this fee will be credited to the first invoice issued to you following your child’s start date.
    Fees are based on 52 weeks per year, paid monthly in advance
    A minimum booking of 2 sessions per week is required

    No refunds will be given for sickness or holidays.

Busy Bees at Leyton Road has been a great nursery for our child over the last 18 months.


At every drop-off or pick up, the staff are warm and smiling, and even though there may be a few tears occasionally, these are quickly taken care of with cuddles and kind words.


My child enjoys all the meals

and snacks, portions are never restricted, neither are second helpings. The menus are well thought through and nutritious.


I am given a comprehensive run down of my child’s daily activities, this is also reflected in a personal journal that I can read at any time.


I am very happy that the progression through the rooms in the nursery is developing my child’s every social, educational and emotional needs.


I would highly recommend Busy Bees to any parent looking to place their child in a nursery.

My child has settled in very well and that is courtesy of the competent staff in the nursery and baby room. My son is always very happy to be dropped off and is content at the end of the day when I collect him. I always receive lots of feedback about how his day has been and can't praise the nursery
enough!

Our son started at Busy Bees Leyton Road in November last year when he was 11 months old. I picked the nursery as it felt so friendly when I went to visit it on maternity leave. Since starting our son settled in immediately and happily toddles in to find out what's for breakfast at the start of each
day. There is always lots for him to do and explore, ever since he started everyone there has been warm and caring so I know he is well looked after when I am at work.
I have found those running the nursery to be flexible and accommodating keeping me fulling informed of everything which is happening and helping me with changes to my work schedule where they can.

I have two sons and they both attend Busy Bees nursery, one in Pre-school and one in Daffodils. The little one took longer to settle but the staff are so lovely and caring I knew he was always getting the cuddles when he needed them. The daily feedback you get is detailed and informative, so I always
know exactly what he has eaten, how long he slept, what nappy changes he has had and what he has played with.
My older one loves being in Pre-school, he has a great relationship with his key-worker and all the staff go out of their way to make the activities interesting, varied and fun so he is always kept busy and has plenty to tell me on the way home!
The food is cooked fresh and the menu is well varied and nutritious, my eldest struggles with his food but the staff are so encouraging and supportive he always eats well at nursery. I go to work knowing they are both happy, well fed and well looked after when I can't be with them, and I would definitely recommend Busy Bees Nursery.

Busy Bees has been brilliant for our 3-year-old son, boosting his confidence infinitely through a combination of a welcoming and friendly environment, super staff and engaging and exciting activities.


He comes home full of stories, new ideas, and full to the brim of knowledge. Both ourselves and

our son are amazed at the breadth of activities that occur on a daily basis, and more importantly for him the variety of food.


The staff are welcoming, both to him and us, engaging and easy to talk to, and always wear a smile. He talks of them as if they are his friends, and we're lucky to have not only found a great setting, but also great staff who clearly enjoy their jobs and enjoy playing as much as the children!


A fantastic place for our child to learn, play, eat, grow and become the best preschooler possible. A thousand thank yous...

My daughter started in September in the baby room and the staff have been extremely attentive to her needs and requirements making my wife's return to work more reassuring. The nursery environment comes across caring with confident and competent staff.

Job Title: Centre Director

I am the Centre Director here at Leyton Road. I have worked in childcare for Busy Bees for 26 years. I am a Level 3 qualified Diploma in Child Care and have completed a Leadership and management qualification. Throughout my time at Busy Bees, I have experienced working in both Busy Bees Nurseries in Harpenden and I have also worked briefly in the Training Department with Busy Bees. I am also the proud mother of 3 children, Libby 18, Leo 15 and Holly Grace who is 5 years old. All my children have attended Busy Bees over the years and have benefited greatly from their Outstanding experience. I am hardworking and passionate about childcare ensuring individual children's needs are met, whilst being within a safe and secure environment. I thoroughly enjoy seeing children, thrive and achieve whilst growing and developing.
