Busy Bees Sutton Scotney

Busy Bees Sutton Scotney has been our best choice for nursery. They supported us amazingly thoug a couple of very challenging times, in ways beyond our expectation. Sarah and team feels like family, not just care providers.

The facilities are great, the learning and development is great and she loves all the food!

My daughter has been attending Busy Bee's for 2 years now. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. She is always happy to go in and I love all the photo's I get throughout the day of what she is up to. They are always having a great time playing in the garden, whatever the weather. She has issues with her speech development and they have been incredibly helpful every step of the way with her personal plan, I have seen so much improvement in her speech because of this. Would recommend as a lovely warm environment for your little one to be in!

Overall: If you are looking for a nursery with a fantastic, heart-led team, I highly recommend Busy Bees Sutton Scotney-just give yourself an extra few minutes for parking!

Choosing a nursery is such a big decision, but the nursery always had the right feel about it from our first visit. Our son has just finished his time at the nursery, having started school this year. From when he first started at 9 months old, until he left to go to school, he has had a wonderful time and loved going into nursery. The food has been a real highlight and everyone from management to new starters, have taken the time to get to know him and us as his parents. We have all felt so welcomed and seen our son is valued and thought of with genuine affection. The staff ensured he was absolutely ready for school and we have loved watching his journey and development through the things posted on the app journal. Our son made great memories and great friends at nursery and I am sure his younger brother will do likewise. Thanks for everything over the last four years.

Five star nursery - we are over the moon that we chose Egg Day Nursery Sutton Scotney for our daughter. All the staff here are just amazing, so friendly, attentive, professional and have welcomed her with open arms which has helped her settle in perfectly, every time we drop her off and collect her she is so happy! All of the activities the nursery does with the children are just fab and we love getting the Tapestry updates each week and seeing how much fun she's had. They also have a fantastic on-site chef and I'm always jealous of the menus! Cannot fault Egg Day Nursery - it's wonderful.

The staff at Egg Sutton Scotney really make this nursery the best. They adore the children and I leave my son there knowing he is looked after and cared for. They are hot on it with regular updates to keep you up to speed with developments of your child. In person, they are professional, kind and it makes it a pleasure to drop off and pick up! I can’t rate them highly enough.

I could not want any more from a nursery. The practitioners looking after the children have such high energy and enthusiasm. They are loving, caring and supportive of each individual child and also create an environment where manners and sharing are promoted and encouraged. The activities are endless, varied and very fun! They really make the most of the garden space, so while I’ve heard some people call it small, I’d argue that it’s much better used than nurseries with more outside space, with the children spending all day out there unless the weather is awful! The management team are superb, they’re accommodating, present and know all the children extremely well, often joining in with them during the day. I don’t think my 2-year old would have had such success with potty training had it not been for the clever setup with the loos being accessible to the children, without needing an adult to specifically take them and the excitement of the bell. Egg Day Nursery Sutton Scotney is the best.

Our children have been attending Egg Day Nursery Sutton Scotney for around 3-years now and our experience throughout this entire time has been superb. I sing their praises to whoever will listen and after the extra support we've received over the last 6-months with my daughter receiving hearing aids, I sing their praises even more! The staff are wonderful and so loved by my children, management are an absolute asset to the setting and the site is clean and engaging for the children. We always feel supported and listened to!

Our little boy has been attending Egg Day Nursery since he turned 1. He is now in their fledglings room which he is absolutely thriving in. He does have some additional needs which the nursery, and particularly his key person, have been extremely understanding of. They offer the children such a mixture of activities each day and get to spend lots of time outside too. All the staff are smiley, warm, and welcoming. We particularly like that the food is cooked on-site, is healthy, and full of variety. We feel the support and nurture the team provides is allowing our son to develop into a confident, chatty, and happy child. We would certainly recommend Egg Day Nursery, a great nursery, and amazing staff.

My child has been attending this nursery since January 2022. The ladies in the nest really helped to settle him in and are brilliant with him every day that he is in. He is always really well fed and the menus always look really good weekly. The nursery is always clean when I enter and everyone is always really smiley. Management are brilliant and always keep me up to date on anything that changes. I highly recommend Egg!

My review covers longer than 12 months, our whole experience at the nursery has been great. They have always been very understanding and helpful. I'm a first-time mum so even things that are new to me they have seen before and have been able to support my child and me and offer advice. This last couple of months we have hit a few troubles but the nursery have helped us overcome them and my little one is very happy.

On reflection, now that my son is in an alternative setting for his final year before school, I think the Chicks was simply too noisy and busy for him. Again on reflection, his behaviour had deteriorated to indicate his discomfort. Adjustments were made to give him some space which eased the situation but his poor behaviour and reluctance to go to nursery continued. For my son, therefore, he outgrew the setting.
