Dinky Ducks Nursery and Preschool

Staff are always friendly and welcoming, honest and trustworthy. I genuinely absolutely love this nursery and would highly recommend it for your precious little ones.

After returning to work we needed to find a nursery for my daughter to go to once a week for the day. They invited us for a tour which was fantastic and answered all the questions we had. From her first day, she has loved playing and exploring.

When he began at nursery he was incredibly shy and lacked social and communication skills. He depended entirely on an adult to engage in the basic of activities and tasks. With the hard work and dedication of the staff, he is now able to converse with both adults and children and join in with some activities and games. Staff are accommodating if we need to change anything due to his own routines and communication is excellent. He gets up every morning excited to be going to nursery. I would highly recommend.

Our children have been going to Dinky Ducks since late 2015 and I cannot fault their care and attention. The baby room in particular is such a great facility. The children are well cared for, have so many things they can explore independently and the staff take real pride in their attention to each child. The toddler room can seem a little overwhelming but it is extremely well organised and both of my children came on leaps and bounds when they moved up. My son, who still attends, runs in happily every day and comes home messy and tired, which to me signifies a great day! The available hours are really helpful for anyone who has to start work early or finish later than usual, and the fees are very reasonable indeed. We have been extremely happy with our choice of childcare and will be very sad when my son leaves in summer 2022!

My boy has been very emotional but the staff have been so good at settling him in and he has got better. Thank you so much to all of you, I am very grateful for what you are doing for him. Very easy to pick up and drop off too which is good.

My little boy absolutely loves coming to Dinky Ducks! He always looks like he's having such a good time when I look on tapestry! The staff are absolutely amazing as they always meet my little boys needs.

My little girl loves it at Dinky Ducks, she is always very excited to go in the morning and has formed a good relationship with her key workers, she is very fond of them. I have seen much progress with my daughter's development, especially her language, since being at nursery. My daughter has a milk allergy, the staff have been very supportive of this and have catered to her dietary needs. I would highly recommend Dinky Ducks Day Care.

My child has come on so much since attending Dinky Ducks, he is always doing different activities and actively enjoys going to the point he runs in without saying bye. The communication between staff is great and even through Covid they have given a safe and confident environment for the children.

Our son has been in Dinky Ducks since he was nine months old, full time. Now three and a half years old he has developed into an extremely confident little boy. The continuity from the team there has been great, his key worker greats him every day (whom he loves). He always comes out very proudly with something he has made that day, constantly telling me about all the exciting things he has done. Constantly singing new songs and counting. It seems to us that he has learnt something new every day. Lovely indoor and outdoor facilities. Food facilities are great, nice tasting for the children but nutritionally balanced. The setting itself is always spotless. Our child has been a key worker child and the support the nursery have given us has been nothing short of amazing. It’s so well run that I know my child's safety and happiness is priority.

And most importantly us as a family know he is safe.

My daughter loved her time at Dinky Ducks. They have a really good outdoor environment, it is great how the children have the freedom to choose to play indoors or outdoors. My daughter was welcomed by her key person every day and they had a great relationship which allowed her to feel settled. Her key person also worked in partnership with us as parents and regularly shared photos and details of activities through the tapestry, it was great to see what she was getting up to whilst at nursery.

Dinky ducks has been great with helping my son develop social skills where he can interact and learn how to play well with others. He gets to engage in activities where he can think independently and as a team member. I trust that he is safe and well taken care of at the nursery and that's piece of mind that is greatly appreciated.
