Enchanted Nursery is a privately owned all year round nursery and over the past 13 years, has earned the trust and respect of parents, the community many outside professionals working with the children and team.

Ofsted rated 'good' in April 2022, Enchanted Nursery is known for it's emphasis on the Prime areas of learning and transitions. The ethos focuses on 'The Enchanting Child' celebrating differences in personality and supporting confidence in each and every child. As part of National Day Nurseries Association (NDNA), the nursery is part of a large network of nurseries across the South who come together to share good practice and ideas. The nursery develops their own curriculum and has very long standing highly qualified and established team.

The nursery offers spacious facilities both indoors and out and has four base age rooms, catering for children from babies to five-year-olds. Based in a historic conservation building that has a secure outside play area on site for children to learn, explore, develop and grow in a safe environment, but also enjoys and spacious field area opposite the setting. With an busy yearly events calendar the team and children are always planning and looking forward to something exciting, including sports day and Preschool Graduation. The nursery offers extra activities alongside the nursery day which are term time only classes and are provided by outside teachers who charge additionally. All meals are cooked on the premises, with nursery chefs providing the children with three meals, plus snacks. Enchanted boasts a 5-star food hygiene rating (April 2025) and has extensive experience catering for allergies.

We were very happy with the care received by our son who attended from 15 months and finished this summer. He has grown and developed in confidence in the care of the brilliant team at Enchanted who provided a supportive environment where he could thrive. Their care, energy, enthusiasm and dedication
to all the children reassured me we had chosen a great setting. The room transitions at different ages really made a difference and helped our child to grow, by being with older children - this in turn has helped with preparing for school. Any queries raised were quickly and promptly resolved. Thank you Enchanted Nursery team.

I have two children attending Enchanted Nursery in Alton currently, with my eldest leaving at the end of August to start school. My youngest will remain for another 2 years in the preschool at Enchanted. We originally moved to Enchanted Nursery after the nursery we were in before unfortunately closed
down. However, since moving to Enchanted, my two have absolutely loved it and they settled in so quickly. The staff are all amazing, super caring and all documentation is always filled in, with regular photo updates and monthly progress checks. Enchanted Nursery have a healthy food focus on their menu, which is updated for the summer and winter months, and there's always a hot meal for either the lunch or dinner. They have a fun little playground at the front of the nursery with a climbing frame and two room options for the preschooler's which gives a nice variation for them, giving them the opportunity to explore different play equipment and a mixture of children :)

My daughter has been going to the Nursery since she was 10 months old. Since the beginning she has always loved going and being there every single day. It's been such an emotional journey watching her grow up since being a baby into the lively, wonderful little girl she has become. This has been a massive
thanks to all the wonderful staff at enchanted nursery with all their caring love, help & support, in all the children's development. You build a very personal relationship with all the key workers because of their bonds with the children. They have been wonderful in all of our daughter's development with helping her on her journey, preparing her for infant school. All the staff are all so friendly and are devoted to their roles, they always give a thorough feedbacks on how the children have been throughout the day. This is also emphasised in the Famly App we use to keep a live up to date reports on how our daughter is doing and eating throughout the day. Overall a brilliant nursery.

We are hugely grateful for the care and dedication of the amazing team at Enchanted Nursery. All three of our children have thrived there.
The staff team is exceptional - highly skilled, genuinely caring and completed vested in the children's well-being and development. It's rare to see such low turnover
in a childcare team, but it's clear why - they love what they do!

Amazing team, especially when my 3-year-old daughter was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. So caring and willing to learn how to give injections etc. Incredible people and already have my son's place down to go here.

2 of my children have attended Enchanted and the care provided to my children has been outstanding.
My youngest has been attending since 10 months old full time and there hasn't been a day she hasn't wanted to go to nursery!
They are imaginative with activities, the feedback from key workers has
always been consistent and thorough, and they genuinely care about each and every one of the children,
They work with parents and have always been approachable.
The one thing I have noticed throughout my children going to nursery is most staff have been there many years, which I think says alot about a nursery and their enjoyment working there.
The food has always been varied, they always do a progress report monthly for your child and provide lots of pictures of your child throughout their nursery days.
As a parent it is never easy leaving your child, however seeing how happy my daughter is there every day, I would not hesitate to recommend any other nursery other than enchanted.

Enchanted is a brilliant nursery and Pre-School. Our son started for the last year in preschool due to a closure of his existing nursery.
All the staff helped him settle really well.
He had learnt so many new skills and all the staff are nurturing and ensure they are fully prepared for school.

My daughter has attended Enchanted Nursery since February 2022. She started at 15 months old and has thrived since being there. Shes made life long friends, learnt so so much and developed in so many ways. Personally can't fault Enchanted at all and if I were fortunate enough to have another child,
I'd sent them there without hesitation. All of my daughter's key workers have been wonderful and supportive not only to my daughter, but to myself too which has eased any concerns about sending her to nursery. I was terrified of her being away from me after so long together but I needn't have worried at all. Now she runs in barely glancing back at me as she is so eager to get in and see her friends and teachers. Seeing her develop and grow has been wonderful and I am so proud of the person she is growing into.


Every member of staff knows every child's name, I've no idea how they manage it but they do! All the staff are so caring and nurturing.

Enchanted is such a great nursery. They offer first class education. My daughter joined the nursery in February 2023 and she was still developing her speech after relocating to the country. She had gone through a terrible regression but thanks to Enchanted nursery she was able to get her speech and
she became a confident child. She has developed great communication skills and we are excited for her to go into the big school now. Thanks to the amazing teachers and the rest of the team that provided great support as my daughter developed. I would definitely recommend any parent to send their children to Enchanted . As they are of great cultural diversity and accommodate any child despite their ethnicity.

Both of my children attend here and they both love it! They both look forward to going in, in the morning, to see their friends and teachers. Both our children have been attending full-time at Enchanted since September 2013 and we could not wish for a better setting and environment for them to grow up and develop within. The care that they have been given over the years and still have is outstanding. The staff at Enchanted are able to make
each child feel special and loved whilst being able to nurture and teach them in parallel. They have such a wonderful and exciting time at nursery. The things they are able to do with the children are so much more than we would ever be able to offer in a home setting (or when it comes to messy play want to do!). The manager and the team are always willing to go that extra mile to help out both the children (and parents) where they are able to. I have no reservations as recommending Enchanted Nursery - I drop my children every day knowing they are safe, cared for and having fun. This feeling is worth more than anything.

Both of my children attended Enchanted Nursery over the years, and they both enjoyed it thoroughly. The staff are lovely, the environment is very friendly, and the kids gain so much from the learning activities. The nursery is so well run, and we were sad to say goodbye when we left.

What an amazing nursery Enchanted is. The name is very apt for the experience the children are provided with. Our grandson has been attending for 3 years and has developed into the wonderful child he is with the help of all of the team and his little friends. He graduated from Unicorns yesterday - Enchanted
provided a fab, fun filled day for all of the graduates and their parents. The smiles (and tears and laughter) on everyone's faces show how much the children are loved and love their nursery. Very well done Enchanted and thank you.

Enchanted is a truly wonderful nursery - from the moment the manager showed us around when my child was only months old, all the way through to him leaving for school, every single person at Enchanted has made his experience truly fantastic. Every key worker he has had adored him and all of the staff
are just brilliant. We will all miss the nursery and the staff so much when he leaves, but he would never have been ready to start school without the support of everyone there. The setting itself is fantastic and always evolving and improving - they really strive to keep everything to their high standards. Just today, they are supporting him having a birthday party with all of his friends during normal nursery time, and they will make it so special for him. Could not recommend more if I tried!

Both of my children have attended Enchanted and my eldest is now nine years old and she still speaks so fondly of the nursery and can’t wait to attend the holiday club still each half term. Both of my children’s crazy, funny, and interesting personalities have been nurtured by all of the team and with
the love and learning they have received from the nursery, they have grown to be such beautifully behaved children with friendly, outgoing, imaginative and creative personalities. I thank all of the Enchanted team and especially their key carers for all of their dedication. All children are so happy at this nursery - it is a wonderful environment that any child will thrive within.

Our daughter has been at Enchanted since she was nine months old, she is now approaching 14 months. We absolutely love the nursery and are so pleased we made the choice to enrol her here. The induction was brilliant and she settled in without any problems. We're always kept fully informed about her
day, no detail is too small and we both feel welcome to stay and chat if we need to. We've been really impressed by how much time and care is spent on our daughter's development - she's always given lots of opportunities to try new things and she has just flourished in her time there. The updates we receive on the nursery app are really comprehensive, along with her reports and photos - it is wonderful to see her exploring and making friends.
Most importantly, she is so happy at nursery. She absolutely loves it and skips in every morning and is dragged out every afternoon - so we couldn't wish for more.
