Woodberry Day Nursery (Fawley) Ltd

The place itself seems somehow more messy and unloved. Staff are attentive and friendly, but the turnover is quite high. As a result, makes it harder for children to develop a bond and trust and staff do not always have sufficient time to truly get to know a child. As a parent, I'm finding communication regarding staff changes challenging. Photos are rarely updated and names are mentioned mostly in passing at pick-up times. That said, most of the staff are lovely and my child speaks very fondly about a few of them.

Wonderful experience. Our daughter has been so well supported over the last year at Woodberry - she loves everything about her days. She has grown as a person and spends so much time talking about her day, friends and the staff. She loves the meals every day and enjoys making us guess about the different food she has had that day.

All the staff are friendly and helpful and really care about the children. Very informative with regular updates on our child’s progress. Our child loves attending the nursery and is always happy to go.

I am over the moon with Woodberry nursery and I'm really glad that I chose to send my son there when he was just over two years old. The staff are all absolutely lovely and so friendly and the manager always goes above and beyond to help whenever I have a query. My son always enjoys going and looks forward to it and has made so many lovely little friends. The equipment and resources that they have there are very impressive and the garden is huge and ideal for taking part in lots of fun activities that I’m always hearing about at pick up time. I really couldn’t recommend this nursery enough.

My granddaughter loves attending nursery (school as she calls it) every morning she asks "school yeah?" She gets so excited when we turn into the car park and she sees the nursey. My granddaughter happily goes into the nursery as soon as one of you open the door, which tells us she is very happy and confident with all the staff and her surroundings.

My son has always gone into Woodberry so happy and excited about the activities they may be doing that day. The staff are always so friendly and even know my son's new baby sister's name - even though she doesn't attend nursery yet! The food provided is varied and nutritional - great for providing energy for running around the large outdoor space. I have no doubt that my son is well looked after while he is at nursery.

As a grandmother of a pupil, I am delighted how happy she is in nursery. She talks about nursery, teachers and friends constantly. She loves it and the education, nurturing and kindness shown are exceptional. Thank you all.

Nursery staff are really caring for the children and have done a wonderful job managing the complexities of nursery life during the Covid pandemic. The development and progression in our child are amazing to see.

Amazing outdoor space, rooms full of natural light where babies feel good and can roam comfortably under the watchful eye of their lovely carers. What I appreciate the most is a very quick communication and response time whenever I have a question either via an e-mail or phone.

I was so worried about sending my one-year-old daughter to a nursery as I was going back to work, I wouldn't change it now for the world. My daughter has shown so much excitement and passion for this nursery and has learnt so much! Would 100% recommend.

The staff, the management are all amazing. Very caring, very thoughtful. My baby girl loves going to nursery, she holds out her hands to them which is a lot. I feel very comfortable leaving her in their care. She has come such a long way since starting nursery, so much I added her an extra day to learn and socialise. The nursery promotes a high level of care and focuses on the children's individual needs to support their development. The staff are friendly and enthusiastic. The communication is excellent, especially with the parents' app. Requests and concerns are listened to and dealt with accordingly. The staff provide support for the children, as well as the families.

I was very anxious about sending my little one to nursery, as I gave birth to him in the lockdown, so I was worried about his social skills and his development. I went round to a few nurseries in the area and just didn't feel as though my little boy would feel overly comfortable. We walked into Woodberry Day Nursery with my little one and he loved it instantly and felt extremely comfortable. We had some great taster sessions. The staff are welcoming and friendly and the observations and updates are amazing and frequent. He has a variety of foods served hot or cold, which he really enjoys. I would very much recommend this nursery to everyone who needs one. But don't take my word for it, have a look round and witness the amazing the nursery yourself.

Our daughter started at the nursery at one-year-old after three months of the first lockdown. I thought she’d really struggle to settle in, especially as we’d only been in the building for an hour with her, to introduce her to one of the nursery ladies. However, after three weeks, she was all smiles as we dropped off. She has grown and flourished under the care and encouragement of the team, in the baby room. She loves all of the nursery ladies, especially her key worker. Over Christmas, we took a two-week break and she really missed the staff and asked after them. Due to lockdown, they are closer to her than any other friends or family. We get regular updates on her progress against the EYFS milestones and ideas for the next steps to try, but at the same time, we never feel that she is being pushed - they allow her to develop at her own pace. Our daughter uses baby signing which really helps, as the team use Makaton so she is able to communicate with them. Our daughter loves her time at the nursery, so we are very happy.

My child has been attending the setting for a few years now and with the transition of the new owners and Covid-19, it’s been a bit of a bumpy ride. The facilities and activities are great and the staff are fab. The app is great for daily updates and it has made communication a lot easier. Since the new owners have taken over, there have been a few staff changes, from staff leaving to staff going to work at their other settings. This made it harder to establish a rapport with managers, etc. However, this does seem to be improving. The only downside to this nursery is the fact that the directors have not been very approachable.

I have two children at Woodberry, one in the baby room and one in preschool. My child in the baby room is 18 months and absolutely loves going. He's so excited to leave in the morning when I tell him we are going. He goes in with a smile and comes out so happy, sometimes he has to be convinced to leave. He is visually impaired and has a few extra requirements but they are amazing with him and the sensory room, in particular, is perfect for him. My son in preschool is about to turn four and has been at the nursery since he was eleven months old. In every room, all the girls have been wonderful. He needs a bit of attention for his speech and they give him that, which is really helpful. I think the facilities at Woodberry are amazing, especially the huge garden and sensory room. They blew us away compared to any other nursery we saw.

My son loves going to nursery - what better recommendation can there be? He has been attending Woodberry Fawley for the last year and initially struggled to settle. The staff in the baby room were brilliant with him and l always felt like I was leaving him in good hands. Since returning after the enforced lockdown closure, he has loved every second. He cannot wait to leave the house on nursery days. I find the Famly app really useful for seeing what he is doing during the day and getting all the details that could be missed during pick up handover. It is also lovely to receive photos of the children, especially as we cannot see in the building due to COVID restrictions. Every time we have needed to contact the nursery they have responded quickly and given us any information we have requested. The nursery do a wide range of activities with the children, which my son enjoys and most importantly to me when we pick him up, he is always happy, smiling and reluctant to leave.
