My daughter has been with Busy Bees now for almost a year and she is so happy there, she has come on so far with her learning since she started. The staff are all so caring for the children and provide daily updates at the end of each session. The food is great, plenty of varied meals that my child
would have never tried if she wasn’t at Busy Bees. Best of all, the children are always so happy! Thank you for your continued hard work and support.

My grandson is having a great time at Busy Bees Hatch Warren Lane He looks forward to seeing his friends and talks about them and his carers all weekend! He's now 2 and just recently his language has developed from one word to 3-4 words/sentences. Staff are amazing, warm and friendly and caring and
know his need VERY well. I just don't know how they look after all those children at the same time, but every child is happy when I go to collect my grandson. It's a fun place to be and I love going to collect him and hearing what he has been doing and learning.

My nephew goes here and he loves it. I have picked him up a number of times and he is always happy. He talks to me about his carers and his friends and the staff are very welcoming. They are very good at handing over information to me so I can pass this on to his parents when they collect him from me.
I have always felt he is happy and safe here.

Such a beautiful setting, the rooms are a good size and have been set up really well. The staff are really friendly and are really good at communicating about my daughter's care. My daughter loves her time at nursery, she can't wait to get there in the morning! She has made really strong relationships
with both staff and peers and has grown so much intellectually and socially since she has been attending!

My son has attended this nursery since he was 10 months and he is now two. He has always loved going there and has always had a very strong bond with all of the staff there. Whenever I go to pick him up he is always happy. The staff are always welcoming and friendly and give a detailed feedback on his
day.

My grandchild who is a toddler attend this nursery and I am simply amazed with his development since starting nursery! The level of speech development, social and emotional development, learning new skills and the accepting of routines to make my grandchild feel safe and secure continues to amaze me!

The staff are clearly highly trained, kind, patient and have warm yet strong bonds with the children and I know my grandchild feels happy, safe and secure. This also enables me to go to work confident in the knowledge that, as a family, we are given the best care and my grandchild, above all, is safe and extremely happy.

My child attended this nursery for almost a year until we moved house. She absolutely loved it here - the staff are fantastic, they are caring and attentive and really do care well for the children. It made it so much easier going to back to work knowing my child was being looked after so well. The
facilities are lovely - a bright, open and clean space with lots of toys and an outdoor area that the children use every day. Meals are varied and healthy, and the nursery catered for dietary requirements. We are so grateful to Busy Bees at Basingstoke Hatch Warren Lane for all that they have done and we will all miss the staff very much.

The staff at Busy Bees have been so helpful and reassuring after my son had trouble settling into nursery. They've given him support and encouragement and he's now in a much better place. They also helped me, explaining nursery procedures and being flexible after I wanted some extra settling in days.
Very pleased with them, long may it continue.

My son started at Busy Bees when I returned to work in June. I was worried about leaving him but the staff in the baby room took all my worries away, they have built a fantastic relationship with my son and he loves going there. He is always happy and I love seeing what he has been up to during the
day on my ParentZone app at home. The staff are very warm and friendly and it definitely made going back to work easier knowing that my son was happy.

Both of my daughters have attended Busy Bees since 13 months of age and really enjoy their time at nursery. I initially returned to work on a part-time basis and unlike some nurseries, Busy Bees did not impose a minimum number of days/hours and instead offered me the flexibility to amend the girls'
day patterns as my working arrangements changed. The staff are warm and welcoming and I've always felt that both of my girls has been treated as an individual, receiving the care they need and the staff have always been very willing to adopt our routines be it in relation to milk, nap times or dietary requirements. The nursery has been recently refurbished and provides a comfortable environment for children to explore and play. We've been very happy all round with the nursery.

My son has been attending Busy Bees since he was 6 months old. Straight away we knew this was the place we wanted to choose - the initial visit was warm, welcoming and informative. My son took to the setting and the staff immediately - which was all the reassurance we needed.

I couldn't be happier

with the care he receives as all staff are caring, dedicated, hard working and want to go the extra mile to provide an environment for the each child to thrive in. They each build wonderful relationships with the children and we have been particularly lucky with our key worker.

The recent investment in redecoration and building works has made perfect use of the character of the building - and the colour scheme provides the right environment for learning and development without distraction.

My son would not be the confident, chatty and clever little man he is today without the care and encouragement he has received from Busy Bees - we have so many things to thank them for.

Great nursery and wonderful staff. My daughter started in ladybirds and settled in really well. She has now moved into the toddler room and is really enjoying it. A very smooth transition thanks to the nursery staff. The two girls (Ladybirds) are lovely and are fantastic with the children.

Current Review Score: 8.2 (8.225)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 8.2 (8.225) out of 10 for Busy Bees Basingstoke Hatch Warren Lane is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 5.0 out of 5 from 2 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 3.2 out of 5 from 2 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 5.000 for Busy Bees Basingstoke Hatch Warren Lane is calculated as follows: ( (24 Excellents x 5) ) ÷ 24 Ratings = 5
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 3.225 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Busy Bees Basingstoke Hatch Warren Lane is based on 2 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 10 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, and then 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews and then 0.1 Points for the next five Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.100, 7th = 0.100, 8th = 0.100, 9th = 0.100, 10th = 0.100) 3 + 0.125 = 3.125
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 100 number of registered child places is 20. 2 Positive Reviews ÷ 20 = 0.1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
