Scribbles Day Nursery

We put our 14-month-old son into Scribbles Day Nursery during a very unsettled time moving home and changing jobs. They were very welcoming and within a week he was desperate to go in! I loved the daily Tapestry updates and information on his development. Was very sad to leave as we emigrated.

An outstanding nursery with very caring and accommodating staff and nurturing environment. My daughter has attended since the age of 11 months (she is now 3 and a half) and has positively thrived. Could not have wished for a better place. Thank you Scribbles!

The activities and special days put on really give the pre school that extra special touch in my opinion. I am always recommending to local mums and dads.

Wishing you every success in the future. I won’t be having any more! But if I did (I repeat - I won’t be!) I wouldn’t think twice about sending them to you ??

This nursery is the best thing I could have done for my son! He has really progressed over the past few months and has learnt how to behave around children and play nicely! It’s clear how much he enjoys nursery and the staff are amazing with him. Thank you for giving him his one to one time when he has needed it, this has really helped him settle quickly and feel secure.

From the viewing, I had of this nursery I knew it was the one. Having viewed three other nurseries before Scribbles I felt nervous about putting my son into the nursery and was contemplating waiting until he was older.

Since finding Scribbles and my son attending, I now feel completely relaxed and happy knowing that my son will be well and truly looked after and get the benefits of attending from an earlier age.

Could not recommend this nursery enough. My son started about a month ago and he literally has the best time. It’s reassuring knowing that he is safe and with people that truly care about him. He has come on a long way even in just a few weeks which is amazing!

The home from home feeling I got from the nursery is why I chose it.

Having moved my son to Scribbles after the Christmas period, the staff at Scribbles were so enthusiastic and made me feel relaxed in the move to Essex. All the staff do so much with the children especially all the extras, he does, karate, Spanish and French and has just started golf. I don't know of any nursery that offers this much to the high standard Scribbles offers.

All the staff members at Scribbles are great and very dedicated people in what they do in their job.

They make good use of the outdoor environment as well as extracurricular activities. I have recommended the nursery to others in the past and wouldn't hesitate to do so again.

My daughter absolutely loves Scribbles and is always happy and smiling when I pick her up in the evenings. The staff are amazing!

The most impressive thing about Scribbles is the staff. Each key worker my daughter has been assigned, as she progressed through the years, has been excellent.

My daughter often plays 'Nursery' at home. Pretending to be one of the staff and her teddies as the children. Staff are highly attentive and seem to have a brilliant relationship with all the children.

The care/playrooms are large and there a number of activities for the children. My child's favourites are Little signers, jogingles, karate, cooking and gardening club.

I would happily recommend Scribbles Epping to anyone.

My daughter joined Scribbles when she was fifteen months and is about to start school this September. She has thrived there. The staff are kind, warm and genuinely care about the children. It’s a home from home feel and I have always felt reassured that my daughter is in safe hands. There are so many activities available for them to do, karate, yoga, golf, dance, baby sighing etc. They have always accommodated any last minute requests. My daughter has always been so happy at Scribbles and I feel that she is very much prepared to move up to school in September.

Our 15 months old son started attending Scribbles mid-January. He is clearly very happy there and has made tremendous progress. He is looked after in the best possible way and that is very comforting to us. We wouldn't have anyone else look after him.

Both my son and daughter have thrived at Scribbles. They prepared my son very well for school and my daughter has grown in confidence.

I feel my children are safe and well looked after.

The staff are brilliant, many are mums themselves. Staff clearly enjoy working at the nursery quite a lot of them have been there for a number of years - unlike many nurseries who have a high turnover of young staff.

They make the best use their outside facilities, getting children out in the fresh air as much as possible. I love the unique location next to the church.

All three of my children have attended Scribbles Pre-school, my oldest starting in February 2012 and my youngest starting in January 2018. It provides a caring, creative, stimulating, focused and fun environment. Its greatest asset is its consistent, experienced and committed staff. I would recommend it to anyone.

Scribbles is an outstanding nursery, where children are truly nurtured and treasured.

The manager is a superstar and her team is excellent: a great mix of more experienced practitioners and bright young things!

A learning-through-play ethos is at the heart of what the nursery does and we were delighted by our son’s progress through the EYFS framework. We enjoyed reading and contributing to his online Tapestry journal.

Extra curricular activities are extremely good. Regular activities include karate, Jo Jingles, rugby and football. With visits from Zoolabs and Booster Cushion Theatre, nature walks, Mad Hatters Tea Party, Barnado’s Big Toddle, Harvest festival and Christmas parties, a child will not get bored at this nursery!

Scribbles is small but perfectly formed, with a lovely family feel. There is no danger of a child getting lost there, either physically or emotionally. At the same time, it is still highly professionally run and standards are rigorously maintained.

We would thoroughly recommend Scribbles Day Nursery. It has been a fabulous experience for our whole family. The staff have all been wonderful. They've really brought our son out of himself and gently encouraged him to try new things and broaden his experience. He's loved all the extra-curricular activities like French, Spanish, dancing and football and the home-cooked dinners are the best. We've felt so happy knowing he was in such safe hands. We were all so sad to say goodbye but he leaves them ready for school and with lots of new friends.
