A lovely friendly nursery. My little girl has been attending since she was 10 months old. She has made tremendous progress and loves her nursery days.

My son attended Stebbing Green Nursery from 11 months old until he was 4 and ready to start school. I was never worried he was not receiving the best care and he was very well prepared for school when he made the transition. He now returns to the nursery for care during school holidays. He always
enjoys the food provided.

My daughter has attended since she was 8 months old, the initial appeal was the separate baby room in the baby unit. Everything's provided so you don't have to worry about food, nappies etc. Most nurseries seem to mix under 2's with the babies. I have not regretted my decision, the team are absolutely
brilliant and my daughter loves every minute of being at Nursery, she prefers it to home. Building great relationships with her key worker.
The children are really at the centre of everything the nursery does, their physical and emotional well-being are paramount and they also benefit from fabulous educational development too, especially in the 2-5's Unit. The outside areas are superb and come rain or shine the children normally get a good dose of fresh air every day.
Events throughout the year allow parents/grandparents can get involved in nursery life.
My daughter is now more than prepared for starting school and we are both going to miss the nursery, I can't recommend it enough.

All three of my children have attended the numeracy over the last 10 years. They have loved it and so have I. Leaving them in a setting that has such fantastic caring staff, lovely open spaces and activities planned that suit all of their needs has been a great start for them all. No other nurseries
have lived up to, (and I don't think they ever will) what is offered at Patricia Pilgrim. The staff from the baby unit, right through to the pre school are all exceptional and I have never had any concerns leaving my sons in their care. They always offer support and guidance and most importantly love to the children in their care.
The staff put so much time and effort into ensuring the children are happy first and foremost but also providing them with the chance to learn through their play and set them up for fantastic futures when they go to school too. We as a family love the nursery and so have our children.

A fantastic nurturing environment, with friendly staff who bend over backwards to accommodate your requirements.
I can't recommend it highly enough. All my 3 children have attended or are currently attending.
It has a real homely feel with lovely gardens, the children can't help but settle in seamlessly.
Five stars all round!

Truly excellent nursery and preschool. My daughter has attended for about 4 years and is about to start school, she has loved her time here and spoken fondly of friendships made with other children and key workers having several favourite 'teachers' along the way. The care offered is always personalised
to each individual child and family making them feel special, wanted, appreciated, safe and happy. The kindness and generosity through unexpected extras such as Christmas/Valentines/mothers and fathers day/fetes etc gifts and beautiful packs of children's work is outstanding. This place has really left its mark in the most positive of ways on our family and we cannot thank all staff enough for their contributions all the way through. Most highly recommended, friendly, approachable and supportive, always, with education levels far superior to other settings she has also attended and delivered in fun and engaging methods. I could write more but restrictions prevail!

My daughter started at Patricia Pilgrim when she was 15 months. As any parent leaving a child for the first time knows it can be very nerving. Starting off in the baby unit all the way up to the pre-school unit my daughter has received the best care, support and learning I could possibly ask for. As
well as the day to day learning and fun she has, we have been able to attend an amazingly organised sports day, Easter egg hunt and a Christmas concert. The outdoor grounds are fantastic. I truly feel very lucky that my daughter could grow in such a lovely environment. The food is always great and is a good variety and chances to taste new foods. Every member of staff at the nursery are so friendly, approachable, happy and great with the children. I am so sad that next week my daughter will be leaving, but happy that she has become a little girl ready for her next journey and Patricia Pilgrim has played a big part. The memories will always stay with us.

Our little girl has been attending this nursery for more than a year. She is clearly so happy there and in more than a year, has only cried once when I dropped her off (and that was only because she was particularly grumpy that day).
One of the defining factors that make this nursery wonderful is
that the nursery nurses take so much care in ensuring the children are happy. What I find unusual and extremely attractive is that the children get to spend time outdoors in most weather. The class size is small which suits our little girl down to a tee. I'm also happy with the progress she is making in learning new things.
We have another one on the way and will most certainly enrol him at Patricia Pilgrim too.

My son was 11 months old when he started at Patricia Pilgrim Memorial Day Care Nursery and left when he started school. It's always very hard to leave your child when you return to work after maternity leave but the staff at this nursery made this transition easier for me. They are very gentle and kind
with the babies and children which made me feel more at ease leaving my baby.
The grounds surrounding the nursery are superb, my son loved the outside activities, garden, slides, sheds and climbing frames. He didn't want to leave when I went to collect him!
They also complete a learning journey which shows your baby/child's progress and the photos are fantastic for parents to see.
The nursery also has a teacher to prepare the children for school. This is a great advantage as not all nurseries provide this service.
I will be returning to the nursery with my second son when I return to work, I will have to complete quite a detour to get there but I can't leave him to be looked after anywhere else!

Our daughter has been attending this nursery since she was 4 months old and it was so important to us to choose the right place as she was so tiny when she started. 3 years on, I am so very pleased we found it and just don't know what we would have done if we hadn't.


The nursery is just incredible.

The staff who work there are the most creative and caring people I have met. Our daughter has just excelled here. She is so confident, bright, articulate and not once have we ever had a problem with her - and she attends 5 days a week.


The events the staff arrange are fantastic - from Christmas carols to easter hunts and sports days, everyone is so involved - and just cares so much, it's hard not to be involved and share the enthusiasm. We could have chosen a much closer nursery to us, but the 10-minute drive there and back each day is more than worth it.

I moved to the area in Nov 2016, being a newly single mum the priority of finding, not only childcare but, somewhere I felt at ease leaving my Son was paramount. I visited a few nurseries, there was just something missing... until I came to Patricia Pilgrim... I walked in and felt immediately, 'I had
found the place'.
This nursery is like leaving my Son with a member of my family. A family in itself from the relaxed interaction between staff, management and owner to all of these interacting fantastically well with my Son. Understandably, the Staff don't seem to want to leave!


Being a working single Mum does not come without challenges! the nursery staff go out of their way to resolve any issues and provide answers to problems. This is invaluable.


Knowing what toys my Son loves and having them there when he walks in, to dealing with a distraught Mum when he doesn't want me to leave... what more can you ask for? My Son has developed so well here there is no higher recommendation.

Patricia Pilgrim Nursery is a warm and friendly place perfect for little people.As of May this year, all of my 4 children will have attended the nursery. The staff are caring, fun and kind and my children love each and every one of them. I particularly love that the staff at the nursery have been there
for many years, unlike other places where staff change regularly. Each day the children have different fun activities to keep them entertained and the seasonal activities are always wonderful.
My particular favourites are the Easter egg hunt and the Christmas play oh and sports days are great fun as well.
I actually have to travel 20minutes to the nursery but I refuse to send my children to closer ones as they just do not compare to Patricia Pilgrim. My children have always excelled there and my two eldest are now superb readers and writers. The actual nursery is bright and welcoming and the outside space is magical with cosy corners and wooden boats and huts. A truly wonderful place!

Both my boys have attended Patricia Pilgrim nursery and loved it! The staff are all very friendly and it is clear to see that they enjoy their job. I particularly liked the fact that they really knew my boys rather than a previous nursery they attended where they were just another child in the nursery.
My boys were always warmly welcomed each morning and encouraged to join in with activities. I think it is lovely that they are taught to be independent by helping themselves to snacks and drinks. The outside play area is perfect and I couldn't have asked for anything more. Both my boys were prepared for school by getting used to changing for PE each week and having learning time away from the main setting. We have enjoyed many cards and presents for Valentine's Day, Mother's Day and Father's Day! I would thoroughly recommend this nursery.

My three children have all passed through Patricia Pilgrim Memorial Day Care Nursery School and all three of them have loved the experience! The staff are wonderfully caring and do their best to keep the children excited and engaged through imaginative activities. I have nothing but great things to
say about this nursery- I am so glad I chose to send my three here. We are truly sorry to be leaving after five years. I hope many more children have opportunity to experience this magical nursery :)

Absolutely fantastic nursery.


Our eldest has been at the nursery for 3yrs (age 1-4), and the youngest has just started (age 1).


The staff are excellent, really great with the kids and go the extra mile with activities and social events. And we've seen huge progression in our eldest, especially

socially.

Patricia Pilgrim Day Nursery has provided a high level of care, nuture and education to both of my girls over the last 7 years. My wife and I, both teachers, have never failed to be impressed with the level of knowledge (and qualifications) of all the staff and have always felt that they really knew
our girls, and the family as a whole, and adapted activities and routines to meet their individual needs.
The quality of both the indoor and outdoor provision for the children is second to none and the inclusion of a qualified teacher for the rising 4s in the "big children's" unit really is the icing on the cake. We feel that we have been well informed throughout our children's journeys to school age and know that they have had the very best start in life that they could have.

When it was time for me to return to work I looked everywhere in the area for the best place for my Daughter, she was only 6 months old at the time. I was at the point of giving up when I visited Patricia Pilgrim and when I saw how warm and lovely the baby unit was, my mind was made up. The Deputy runs
the baby unit with love and warmth which creates and safe and loving environment for the babies to thrive and that care then extended to the toddler and preschool units. My daughter has grown into a happy, healthy and confident child that was always excited to go to nursery. Thank you Patricia Pilgrim for the amazing care, love and support over the last 4 years.
