When we pick her up, we are given a detailed update of the day she has had, including how she ate, how long she napped and what activities and interactions she's had. Our daughter loves being outside and the nursery has a nice outdoor play area. Before selecting this nursery we looked at 2 others in the area and we knew straight away that Chestnut Grove was the right one. The staff are friendly and caring, one staff member even came in on her day off when our daughter first started at nursery, just to help her settle in. Chestnut Grove is perfect for our daughter.

My youngest has been at Chesnut Grove Kindergarten for two years. He has the best time at nursery. There are always fun and educational activities everyday. My son loves receiving the star of the week and being the happy helper for the day. The staff are amazing, nothing is too much trouble, they are so friendly and approachable. It's a nerve wracking situation leaving your child in someone else's care, I have never worried and feel very reassured about the care my son receives. He is always happy to go and always happy and playing with friends when I pick him up. Beautiful setting for young children. I couldn't ask for more.

The staff have been patient with him and worked with him at his pace to make sure he is happy & comfortable - and he is definitely happy & comfortable.

Chestnut Grove Kindergarten is a outstanding nursery. All three of my children love this nursery so much. All the staff are so lovely and care about your children and parents well being, I couldn't ask for a better nursery for my children. I feel that my children are safe and happy here and would recommend Chestnut Grove to everyone.

Chestnut Kindergarten is a really nice nursery. All the staff are lovely and they are all good with the children. I recommend the nursery to everyone because your children will be well looked after and your children will love the nursery.

The staff are friendly and approachable. My eldest, now 8, is still welcomed back when we pick up my daughter, 2, and both are very happy.

Fantastic nursery. My second child who has attended and absolutely loves it. The staff are friendly and helpful. Never had any issues with the nursery. Wouldn't send my children anywhere else. Well-managed nursery. The best in the area.

Chestnut Grove have been amazing. The staff really care about the children and their well-being at nursery. My child loves their teachers and created really lovely bonds with them, this is all because the staff are so authentic and genuine. They are reflective in their practice and creative in activities they do in class. It makes it so much nicer to go to work knowing my child is well taken care of and happy.

My son has been at the nursery for the last year and I couldn't wish for a better place. All the staff are so caring and supportive of the children. My son always comes home happy! They are also so good with activities with the children and love seeing the photos they share with. Would highly recommend!

My son enjoys coming to nursery three times a week an the staff are friendly and are always happy to update daily how your child been on collection. I find the app helpful to be kept updated, love seeing photos of the children doing different variety of activities.

My daughter is enjoying going and does a full range of activities. They offer great snacks at snack time. They have been great during the recent spout of hand, foot and mouth. There were very open with everything and did everything they could to prevent the spread as much as possible.

My son has been going here for just over a year and he absolutely loves it, the staff are fantastic with him and all so friendly. He has made lots of friends and he has really come out of his shell. I will be also sending my second child here when I go back to work.

Both my sons attended this nursery. My first son attended from 1 years old and is now in reception, my second son attended this nursery from 7 months old and is currently still there and I can honestly not fault this nursery one bit. The staff are absolutely amazing and accommodating and really work with you and your child with routines, feeding even potty training etc. The fact the nursery is open all year round and is open from early until late in the evening really helps working parents like myself. The manager is absolutely lovely and so accommodating and really she goes out of her way for you and your child. The nursery is full of toys and wonderful things for children to do of all ages. It's very clean. The staff update you of any illnesses going round and often update you on what your child's been doing, milestones they may have reached and constantly upload photos of your child (if you've given permission) I'm running out of characters and I could go on and on. 10/10.

Lovely, friendly, happy staff. My little boy loves it there and always has a good day. They supply snacks which always go down well with my little boy as he loves his food. Communication is good and the app is always updated throughout the day so I can what he's been up to while he's there.

My little girl has been here since September last year. And she has grown so much much. The staff are incredible and considerate. I can't thank them enough for positive influence they have had on her and bringing her out of her shell.

Great nursery in Clacton. My son has settled very well at Chestnut Grove Day Nursery. Really pleased he is doing so well. Great support from the staff and his one-to-one help. Would recommend this setting to anyone.

My sons come here and they both really enjoy it, they love all the teachers that look after them. Staff and management are very helpful especially when something comes up last minute they will try and help you out. The snacks are good for the children and if you feel like you want your child to learn something you just need to have a chat with the key worker and they will do their best. Very good kindergarten.

A fantastic nursery. I have five kids who have all attended Chestnut Grove Kindergarten, one of whom started and was unable to talk properly. After a little time at Chestnut Grove Kindergarten, my little one's speech had come along amazingly. My youngest still goes and loves it. Amazing staff, always so helpful and friendly. I've moved to a different town and even though there are nurseries closer, I will not change.
