My son attended Busy Bees at Great Notley when he was younger, and now my daughter attends. The staff are friendly and welcoming and truly set my mind at ease when leaving my children in their care. The nursery facilities are great - it’s clear that a lot of thought and effort has gone into making the
nursery such a great place for children to be.
My children have developed not only in the traditional sense of speech, fine and gross motor skills, etc. but also in terms of confidence. My daughter is well cared for, comforted and enjoys going to nursery, and I hold the upmost trust in the staff when putting my daughter into their care.

Manager is very friendly and accommodating. Happy to review our child's days she attends despite changing our minds a lot.
The staff are all amazing and have worked with our little girl's confidence and teaching her many skills. We are so happy with her progress and the staff that we are increasing
her hours.
The facilities are great for the children and the food is both healthy and tasty and provides a wonderful variety which she eats without protest.
The little touches make a big difference including tea, coffee and fruit for busy parents to take to work in the mornings.
Can't recommend this nursery enough, amazing value for the price.

Both of my children have attended Busy Bees Great Notley and have been really happy here. They have made good friends and formed positive relationships with staff. The nursery has provided a wide variety of activities and uses both the indoor and outdoor areas well to create a safe, interactive and
fun learning environment.
The managers are very approachable, always friendly and helpful, and constantly striving to make improvements. Everything that your child needs is provided by the nursery making it as easy as possible for parents. The Foundation Class helps to prepare the children for school to make the transition a smooth one. Busy Bees Great Notley has provided an excellent start and we will miss it when we leave!

My little boy has been at Busy Bees since he was 6 months old. From his very first day, he had been so well looked after, I can’t thank the girls at Busy Bees enough. He loves his days there and is always squealing with delight running around when I pick him up which is so reassuring to see. Can’t recommend

My eldest daughter has attended Busy Bees from 6 months old, moving through all of the rooms and is now in the fantastic Foundation class. Throughout her time at nursery, the members of staff have gone above and beyond my expectations in all areas. She really enjoys attending nursery and gets so much
out of it.
The resources available to the children are of a good quality and very suitable to their interests and development stages. The Parent Zone app is great for keeping us up to date in all areas, I especially love being able to see what they have been doing during their day with lovely photographs. My youngest daughter has now started in the baby room, again the staff in there have gone above and beyond to ensure that she has settled in really well and is happy there. A fantastic nursery, I would recommend to all.

All staff members are extremely polite and enthusiastic. Especially the girls working in Dragonflies, I couldn’t fault any of them. My only comment would be that I'd like more pictures of what my child does in the nursery. Aside from that everything else is outstanding.

Busy Bees at Great Notley is a great nursery/preschool. My daughter loves going there and has done for the past 4 years


The staff are always really helpful and always take note if my daughter is ill or needs special attention.


The management are always informative and keep us up to date with

what's is going on.


The parent zone app is a really useful tool as it allows staff and the key person to add photos and comments about my daughter's day which is really nice to see.


Since being in the foundation class, my daughter has really improved her sentencing and numbers and is not so shy and has made some really good friends.


The nursery also has family events such as summer fates and Xmas events where all the family can come along. This gives parents who may not be the main person who drops off, a chance to see where their child goes and speak to the team on a social basis.


I love the nursery and I will be very sad when my daughter leaves in July to go to school in September.

The staff are very adaptive to children’s individual age and needs, they are very caring and obviously enjoy working with our children. There is always plenty of age-appropriate activities to more than fill the day and our children have formed great relationships with staff and peers. The garden is
great and the recent refurbishment has only added to the enjoyment.

Our little girl has been going to Busy Bees at Great Notley since she was a year old. Throughout her time there she has reached every milestone with much enthusiasm from the staff. All staff from admin, catering, key workers are all very welcoming. Keyworkers have always given very informative and helpful
handovers and assessments. The admin team are always on the ball and can always answer any question I give them. The whole centre is safe and friendly. My daughter loves her key worker, which is lovely to know.

My son has been attending the nursery 4 days a week since he was 10 months old. He is now 18 months old and I feel very comfortable leaving him as I know he will be well looked after and cared for. He enjoys nursery and quite happily waves me out the door every day so I know he is content.
The staff
members are always very friendly and helpful and always seem happy to help with any queries. I can tell they have a real bond with my son.
The variety and nutrients of the food is great and is what I feel at home so it means he gets healthily balanced diet every day.
The new garden area is great and was essential for me looking for a nursery as we spend a lot of time outside as a family.
The activities they do during the day is great for his progression in learning new skills.
The app is great to stay up to date on what he is doing. I love the observations and wish there were more of them.
I would 100% recommend the nursery to friends.

Busy Bees at Great Notley is in our view an outstanding nursery. Finding a nursery for our daughter was the most daunting and important decision we have taken! I feel that we have made the best possible choice for our daughter.


She absolutely loves her nursery days and the caring staff that work

there, her activities are fun and engaging and her social skills are so advanced - her table manners are exceptional for her age! I believe that my daughter is safe and well cared for; emotionally, socially and in her own personal development.
I wholeheartedly recommended Busy Bees at Great Notley.

My little guy has been going to Busy Bees at Great Notley since he was 6 months and still goes to the before and after School club.


I cannot speak highly enough about the nursery itself, the management and the staff. They have always been welcoming, kind, thoughtful, thoroughly professional and the

kids love it there! Staff retention is good which speaks volumes and the manager has been keeping things in order since the first time we viewed. Having that consistency and quality of leadership has been a massive benefit to the team.


My son has always had everything he needs, he feels safe and secure and is highly valued. A great environment to be part of.

My little boy started in Busy Bees, 3 mornings a week, just before his 2nd birthday. We had just moved back from living overseas and were not near family or friends, so this was an extremely important social outlet for him.
From the first week, we knew we had picked the right place. The staff were
all so warm and welcoming. He loved it there and ran in every morning. At pick up, they always had time to sit and chat about his day and really seemed as excited as I was to see all the little changes. His behaviour and social skills have improved so much. The menu was very varied and he ate food that he would never eat for me at home. The safety seemed great. The front office were so good on communication and very helpful.
I'm so grateful that his first experience of school was so positive.
Sadly we have now moved away from the area. Had we stayed in the area when I returned to full-time employment, I would have been fully confident that he was in good hands.

My kids really enjoy attending Busy Bees and will tell me about their day en route home. The different activities they have access to is fantastic and being working parents me and my wife feel less guilty when we know they have fully enjoyed themselves each day. The staff are really friendly and helpful
and are always willing to talk about my children if I need to ask anything. Both me and my wife are included in communication which I think is great as I like to be included.

I have been using bBusy Bees Great Notley for 6 years and find the team to be professional, friendly and they genuinely care about each of my children.
The structure of the team in each room is clear and each of my children have settled in well. The resources the nursery have are of very good standard
and the variety of activities is plentiful.
Whenever I have had a question, the management team have been very understanding and taken the time to listen and give good support and advice.
All my children have been very happy at Busy Bees and I feel confident that they are in a great environment whilst I am at work.
The team are always enthusiastic about my children and their achievements and for all these reasons I recommend this nursery.

My Name is Hannah Rees, the Centre Director here at Braintree Great Notley.


I hold an Honours Degree in Childcare. I have been working at this Centre since June 2009, and I still love my job as much as I did all those years ago. Seeing the children every day and the joy that the nursery brings to their faces is invaluable. I lead a well-qualified and experienced team of staff who, like myself, have a real passion for childcare. Leading my team to offer the very best care and education fills me with so much pride. Watching the children through their journey from here to Primary School is extremely rewarding.


My little girl attended from 1 year old; it, without doubt, has given her the 'Best start in life'. She is extremely sociable and keen to learn.
