I am extremely happy with the nursery. The staff are fantastic and my daughter loves going.

I have been extremely happy with Burstead Bears in the last 5 years that I have been coming.
Burstead Bears has provided childcare for all of my 3 children and I can't imagine ever going anywhere else. I have always felt completely comfortable leaving them in their care and they are always happy when picked up from their fun filled day.

Both my niece and nephew attend the nursery regularly and I often collect them both. I am always greeted by happy, friendly faces that make you feel very welcome. The children eat great food and do lots of fun activities. The nursery is always clean and staff are always smiley and approachable.
I absolutely love this nursery. My child has come on leaps and bounds since joining nearly 1 1/2 years ago. The staff are amazing nothing is ever a problem.
Excellent. My daughter has come on great guns at Burstead Bears, counting and beginning to recognise the sounds of letters. Every evening when I pick her up she is always bouncy and happy which is evidence that she has had a great day. All the staff are friendly and helpful.
As always we can't fault the nursery. My daughter loves coming here and the staff are so helpful and friendly and we have our youngest on the waiting list too.
My LO has a great time and experiences within the nursery environment. He loves learning and experimentations the ladies do.
My children aged 1 and 4 are both very happy here. It has made my daughter, aged 4, extremely confident. She has been coming here since 9 months old and has learnt a lot. They follow the curriculum very well and provide regular performance/aims reviews. I have every confidence that my 1 year old will follow in her footsteps here. The girls are lovely and build special relationships with the children.
Very happy with the nursery.
Great nursery, friendly and caring staff. I drop my nephew off twice a week and I'm on the waiting list for my own baby. My nephew is always excited to go and tells me what he's learnt that day. Cameras are a brilliant extra so my sister and I can see what he's doing while at work/home and gives you peace of mind.
Burstead Bears is a fantastic nursery, my 2 year old loves going and has learnt a lot. She has a very good relationship with all of the staff members.
Lovely nursery, my little girl has learnt so much and always comes home happy and full of beans! Staff seem on the ball and are always there to talk to if necessary. A happy place!

I could not be happier with Burstead Bears. Both my children came here and it has been fantastic. The staff are friendly and enthusiastic and always go out of their way to make sure the children are looked after and happy. Feedback with parents is excellent and we are kept up to date with children's progress and learning. An excellent nursery.
My daughter loves her time at Burstead Bears. She always comes away happy. In her contact book there is always a list of fun activities that she has done. I always get full updates on what she has been doing, via telephone and contact book and the reporting system that is in place.

Meet the Team (5)
Rachael, who has over 20 years of experience in childcare, joined Burstead Bears in September 2006 and helped establish the Nursery to the enviable reputation it enjoys today. Rachael has qualifications in both childcare and management and is responsible for the day-to-day running of the nursery.
Bethany is a bright, cheerful and outgoing character, who joined our nursery team because after completing a 2-week work experience at a nursery, she realised that it was a long-term career in childcare that she wanted to pursue. Bethany enjoys creative art and, in particular, painting, which is put to good use with the children. Since becoming a member of Burstead Bears, Bethany has demonstrated excellent interaction skills, as well as a willingness to help others and a desire to progress in her role within the nursery to make a rounded member of the team.
Nicola is a bright, enthusiastic and caring individual who has a wealth of experience working with early years’ children of all ages, from newborn babies to our pre-school children. Nicola started life at Burstead Bears in 2010 as one of our nursery practitioners with a true passion for working with young children. As time progressed, she was promoted to a senior nursery practitioner, a role for which she is highly respected. Additionally, Nicola assists with various duties in the management of the nursery. Since joining the nursery, Nicola has started her own family and now has a lovely son.
Keli has been working in the childcare sector since 1998, during which she has worked as a nanny for 10 years with children aged up to 16, and as a nursery practitioner with children from birth to age 5. Within Keli's role, she has cared for many children of varying abilities, including a 5-year period where she had great pleasure in caring for a child with autism, who, thanks to Keli's input, is today learning, socialising, communicating, and developing really well. This makes Keli one of the nursery's most experienced and respected members of staff. After all the years Keli has worked in this sector, she still maintains the same passion in her role caring for children and helping them progress as she did when she first started. Keli's main pursuit outside of work is caring for her 3 horses as well as competing in various equestrian events, in which she has been most successful, winning trophies for show jumping, cross country and dressage.
Jodie was initially inspired to work in childcare by her mother, who had worked in the childcare sector for many years. Since joining Burstead Bears, Jodie has displayed her passion for working with children by showing a great deal of empathy, warmth, understanding and enthusiasm whilst interacting in both play and education. This is evident as the children immediately warm to Jodie’s friendly and gentle persona. Jodie’s interests include: canoeing, sailing, reading and painting.
