After attending Busy Bees Nursery my daughter had a very good progression regarding her developmental milestones. She loved the nursery and the caring staff members and she was confident and happy to go to school. Thank you Busy Bees staff for everything you did for her in order to settle and for us to be satisfied.
The outside space isn’t huge but it’s big enough and the children spend time outside as much as possible. The nursery offers a good range of activities for the children, and the food menus appear balanced and varied.
We have been impressed with how Busy Bees has dealt with the coronavirus pandemic with the interests of families at heart. Communication with parents has been excellent, including keeping in touch during lockdown and giving ideas for activities at home. The nursery has been flexible and understanding of personal circumstances during reopening.
Overall, we can’t recommend the care highly enough.
My little boy has grown and developed so much in his time at the nursery. He will be leaving this year to go to school and I am confident in saying he would not be anywhere near ready for that big step if it had not been for the care and development that his teachers at the nursery have given him. I now have a very confident little boy that has come into his own. I could not recommend this nursery enough.
I was very worried with my daughter starting as she was premature and I was anxious going back to work.
Busy Bees put me at ease, I could ring whenever I liked to check on her and they would always ring if there were any issues at all.
She has become such a wonderfully confident little girl. She is more than ready for school. She has made many friends. We’ve even had some play dates outside of nursery.
She also loves her teachers and talks about them at home.
My daughter joined Busy Bees around six months ago now, just after she turned one and its been for the best. She was very shy and clingy to me before she started and now she has come on leaps and bounds. She has completely opened up and is excelling in her developmental milestones. With the help of her carers at nursery, they've helped her learn new words and things to explore. She has really become her own little person there. I am feeling confident leaving her at nursery because she is so well looked after and if there is any problem big or small they always ring you which is definitely a reassurance for me. I'm grateful she goes here and would highly recommend to any parent. Thank you for taking such good care of my girl.
One of my older daughters attended Busy Bees 12 years ago and has such fond memories, so I had no qualms about the setting for my youngest daughter who enjoys her time so much, the staff are amazing and her needs are always met and we are very happy with the nursery.
My daughter has been going to Busy Bees since April 2019. I have felt comfortable leaving my child in the care of the staff here. They have always been friendly and very helpful. My daughter is always happy when I collect her and tells me all about the activities she has done that day. I have received good handovers at the end of the day and am happy with a variety of activities on offer. The children are outside whenever possible which is great for us as my little one has a lot of energy. My daughter seems to have made good relationships with both staff members and her peers, enhancing her social skills and confidence. I'm confident that her time here will assist in a better transition to school in September.
We put our daughter in Busy Bees after looking at a few nurseries, as it was really convenient and seemed on par with other nurseries we had visited. However, in the past nine months, our daughter has really flourished, and we can only attribute this to the lovely staff at Busy Bees Saxon Street. They really do focus on your child and their development, and she truly loves her days at 'school', comes home talking about all the activities, the staff and her friends.
Our son, who is now 2, has been attending this nursery since he was 5 months old. Since day 1, I felt comfortable and confident that I had chosen the right nursery for him. The staff are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them, you feel that you can approach them at any time. Our son developed some health issues, and although I was initially nervous that the nursery would not be able to meet his needs, I really had nothing to worry about, they have taken on board all of his needs with so much care and compassion. I never leave him in the mornings worrying, as I know that he is in safe hands. He has thrived so much, everyday is a new adventure for him at nursery and I love hearing all about his day. The new system that has been implemented is so good for us busy parents who don't always have time for a full handover when picking up our children. We can still keep up to date with what they have been up to during their exciting days at nursery.
My little boy is very settled at Busy Bees Milton Keynes. He has lots of friends and good relationships with staff too, who are dedicated and so caring. Each day there's a variety of interesting, fun activities with a good level of structure as well as opportunity to be independent. The topic weeks have been great; an airport, growing veg, science week, regular cooking sessions, learning songs.... The children spend as much time outdoors as the weather allows. The pre-school garden is fantastic: lots of space, loads of resources, a mud kitchen, bug hotel, garden library etc.
I'm impressed by how much the nursery seeks to include families, e.g. mother's day tea, carol concert, summer play. I love how welcome I am made whenever I visit, not just by the staff but by the children too. The enthusiasm with which the children proudly show their artwork, share their stories and give guided tours of new toys/room layouts etc demonstrates how engaged, happy and confident they are.
Huge thanks, Busy Bees!
The staff are amazing, my little girl has progressed and developed so fast being here since January, she has a great bond with her carers and the other children and I cannot thank all the staff enough for the fantastic work they do!
We have found all the staff at Busy Bees really caring and friendly. Our daughter has settled well into baby room 2 and enjoys going. We also find she enjoys the food.
My second child came to this nursery when she was nine months old and settled in so well, the staff were fantastic with her, she has now left and is enjoying school. My youngest child now attends the nursery and loves it just has much as her older sister. All the staff are so friendly so I'm sure she will do well too.
Very happy with Busy Bees, this is our first time using Busy Bees as we have the one child. The settling in period worked very well and the manager has always been helpful and friendly on every occasion I have seen her.
All in all very happy, the only thing I would say which could have been a little smoother, was during the first year of my daughters time here - she has had 4 different lead contacts. I know this may change with children moving up groups etc but it would have been nice to have the same one, or at least two to really understand and have that relationship from day one with my daughter. I am not sure if this is normal but worth mentioning.
Like I said, we feel very happy knowing our daughter is in safe hands of the hospital Busy Bees.
Thank you.
Absolutely fabulous nursery, my little boy has been attending for the last 2 years and has grown his confidence considerably! Very friendly and warm staff who know each children's needs and encourage lots of different activities for learning and development.
Would definitely recommend this nursery !
We chose the nursery because it was close to my work, but found staff were kind, even at times when there have been some changes. Our daughter likes to go to the nursery. We have been very pleased with the new refurbishment and it's nicer and cleaner at the moment since the management has changed. I will definitely recommend it to friends.
My little girl loves going to nursery as she loves playing with other children. The staff are all so friendly and very helpful.
My son has been with Busy Bees since he was 6 months old and has flourished under their guidance. They put me completely at ease leaving him to return to work, and I can't believe he will be leaving soon to head to school! The staff are lovely and appreciate each child for the individual they are.
The baby room has lovely caring staff and my little girl enjoys all the toys to play with and watching the older children.
My daughter has progressed so well throughout her stay at the nursery. She is very confident and her speech is coming along nicely as she learns new words every day. She gets excited to come to nursery just at the mention of her carer's names and we are always greeted with a smile and positivity. As a first time parent, I have always felt so confident leaving her in the care of Busy Bees and knowing that she's happy and well looked after.
