My daughter has just spent the last three years at Busy Bees. From a baby right through to pre-school; she’s enjoyed all stages. I have always felt happy and comfortable leaving my little girl there. I feel as though all the team cared for her well-being and took an interest in her. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this nursery.
My niece has been attending for 4 months now and her progression and self-confidence had grown so much. The staff are friendly and really know the children and the nursery is spotless. Thank you so much to the team at Busy Bees Oldbrook.
I would recommend anyone to come here.
My niece comes home every day and talks about the new things that she has been doing and learning.
I would like to see some more work go into the gardens as during the winter, especially in her toddler room the grass banks seem very slippery and muddy.
She will often talk about the food she has eaten and thanks to nursery has a good liking for a variety of different foods.
Thank you to everyone at Busy Bees, Oldbrook.
Our child has prospered and thrives in this environment, socially and in her learning and is well on her way to being a well-rounded child, and it is a testament to the hard work that the staff put in every day to provide a safe and fun place to learn.
No concerns about the nursery. The staff are amazing, very caring and understanding. The manager is great. A lot of staff changes but they are all wonderful people.
I have found Busy Bees Oldbrook to provide excellent care for my little one. They have a range of activities and equipment that my little one loves. The staff are friendly and have little ones best interest at heart. I get daily updates on their day via the ParentsZone App. I also get regular development observations via the app to see how little one is progressing on a verity of things. Management keep parents up to date with any changes that happen. Recently Busy Bees have launched a new app called UP which I have been using to help me with ideas to help little ones learning at home.
I have noticed that my daughter gets excited when she gets to nursery, which shows she really enjoys her time there. When dancing with her at home, I notice new dance steps she must have learnt at nursery, which shows she's being engaged. She also seems very tidy - picks up her toys, cleans spills on the floor (I haven't taught her this). So thanks to the nursery for this! Lastly, she is quite polite these days - she says 'thank you mummy/daddy' when she is given something. I think she's really learning good manners from the nursery.
Great nursery and facilities. Staff are friendly, informative and my little girl loves every one of the staff in her room.
Ladies at Oldbrook always prepared to listen and offer support when I have any concerns or questions.
My child has been with the nursery since he was about 7 months and he loves it. He talks excitedly about the food (probably his favourite), his friends, all the staff (even the ladies that do the cleaning!) and the activities they do each day.
If something isn’t up to the usual standard- which is very high, the staff are very quick to address any concerns (no matter how trivial) either via telephone, email or face to face meetings and you always get the sense that they have listened and, more importantly, acted to make things even better.
I feel the quality of care my child receives is high. She is very happy and content. She has a very good relationship with the staff and as her parent, I do too. They have an open door policy so if I have had any issues I feel they are followed through and resolved if needed. I do feel the outside areas need some attention e.g. grass banks need addressing and maybe covered areas supplied so children can play outside in all weathers without getting dirty or wet. I feel this is the only thing that lets the nursery down. Other than that, I would mark it 10 out of 10 across the board.
I get detailed feedback about her day in nursery and since starting she has come on leaps and bounds. It is my belief that attending nursery has contributed towards this. Thank you for all of your help and support.
Great nursery and great staff! My son loves going to nursery and it has been lovely to see how much he has developed since being at Busy Bees.
My cousin loves it at the nursery, the staff are amazing and the management are brilliant.
The nursery itself is lovely and kept to a high standard and she always comes home very happy and her confidence is blossoming since she started.
My daughter attended this nursery for about a year from when she was 2 years old. There are so many things I love about this nursery and was sad for her to leave but due to a new job had to move. I felt my daughter was always engaged in activities. The staff are great at comforting children who are upset which I noticed and I think that's very important because it's the worst feeling to think your child may be upset and no one is comforting them. I always noticed hugs and lots of care. I really liked the fact you can watch your child from a television screen in the reception area which is great for when they are settling in or if you ever want to turn up anytime to check on them. It also gives you peace of mind that they are treated well knowing that parents can check anytime on their children. My daughter was very shy and I was concerned about her confidence when she started but now she is really outgoing and confident talking to adults and children and can make friends easily.
At times, there has been an inconsistency of staff. However, this has improved recently.
My daughter thoroughly enjoys going to Nursery and has built close relationships with a number of staff members. She has made good progress. I feel confident that she is in caring hands when I drop her off, as staff are welcoming and friendly. They show an interest in my daughter which has made it easier for me.
I can definitely say he thoroughly enjoys his time at nursery.
He loves his carers as they welcome him cheerfully in the morning, and he is being looked after by them really well throughout the day.
He loves his food and not only finishes his meal at daycare and at home but also maintains his discipline and cleans up after.
He loves his play activities at nursery. And what's really appreciative is that the staff observes the likes and dislikes of the child, they note what the child is good at and enjoying and otherwise. Henceforth, they make sure he gets to engage in activities and toys that he loves the most.
We as parents also enjoy the occasional dress up days, photograph days and Christmas party days, etc
As a working parent, I can definitely leave my child with them to be looked after during the day, whilst I continue to keep my job.
Busy Bees at Oldbrook has excellent facilities. Overall, child care is excellent. There is still room for improvement. As facilities are being upgraded, I trust that child care will also be upgraded. I believe staff are doing a great job. Keep it up.
